Hi! My current website, chicagomonitor.com, seems to be broken with the Newspaper theme. I made a custom mobile theme, which displays alright in the frontend editor. But, it ends up showing broken on my mobile, with everything pushed to the left, off the screen. So I fixed the padding, but now it’s defaulting to the Newspaper mobile theme. To make matters worse, now the desktop theme is showing a mobile theme.
Basically on desktop it’s supposed to look like this:
but it looks like this:
and on mobile it’s supposed to look like this:
but it looks like this:
Hi,
I just checked your website and this is look fine now, also on mobile the hero image is displaying correctly – https://i.imgur.com/eaVkviY.png
If there is still a problem and I miss it, please let me know!
Thank you!
Hi nyte2star, if you are using the responsive version then the post/page content should be the same for desktop and mobile, but the header not, on mobile you’ll have a different header, therefore you need to set a new content for mobile header using tagDiv Composer.
If there is still a problem, please provide a link where I can inspect the situation.
Thank you!
Hi,
For mobile theme plugin, you can use this option -> https://i.imgur.com/YBHc2Y8.png and it will disable the live search and should be just what you need for mobile version.
For desktop version if you have a cloud header, then you can edit it with tagDiv Composer and you can use the “search form” that can be edited -> https://i.imgur.com/1FIceUz.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/n6837rt.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/gHitHOI.jpg
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi Topfgartenwelt, the AJAX View Count from mobile theme plugin will be disable when you disable it from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/bjnlUCp.png -> https://i.imgur.com/fDeLnVR.png
Also the mobile theme plugin is using the settings from standard pack templates (standard post templates settings from theme panel, therefore if you disable the options that you do not want from theme panel, it will apply on mobile theme plugin too).
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then yes, this is the class for featured image “td-post-featured-image”.
If you are using the responsive version, then the featured image can have ne of those classes:
– “td-post-featured-image” (for standard posts templates )
– “tdb_single_featured_image” (for cloud featured image )
– “tdb_single_bg_featured_image” ( for cloud with background featured image)
Thank you!
Hi Everyone,
Featured Images of the articles are not clear on the Home Page of the Mobile version. (if you get inside the article image becomes clear again.)
I have tried different image optimizer plug-ins but the result is not changing. Are there some options for this?
An example from the mobile page:
https://ibb.co/vX8pytw (image quality on the home page)
https://ibb.co/QrQZNQv (image quality inside the article)
p.s I am not using the mobile theme plug-in.
Best regards,
Ozan
Hi,
Unfortunately the Polylang was not tested with our theme, therefore we can not say what settings you’ll need to make in order to make the mobile theme menu to work with Polylang, maybe you can use the responsive version of the theme, is possible to be no problems with that menu.
Make sure that you set the menu in polylang as in this documentation -> https://polylang.pro/doc/create-menus/ and is set in mobile theme plugin that menu -> https://i.imgur.com/Z4r0D6c.png if is still not working, please disable the mobile theme or set it only for amp and see if the polylang menu from responsive version is working.
Thank you or your understanding!
Hi,
Do you have any idea why the mobile site is showing like this? On the homepage, the header is super larger, but the site looks fine.
When you click on an article page, the header goes fine but the actual content messes up.
Any idea what’s happening?

Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin then all the js files are on this directory -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/js
Thank you!
I am using the new mobile editor. I have created a mobile version for one of my category pages using the new mobile editor.
Is there a way to duplicate a mobile version of a category page and then assign it to a different category, to save me from doing all of this manually?
Thanks
I experienced the same. Can’t save the selected menu. This happens only in mobile. Is there any help on this? Thank you!

Hello!
Please tell me some information about your problem, so I can help you:
1. Did you correctly install the mobile theme plugin and made sure that it is active? So you can check out the following link: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
2. If you did actually correctly install and activate the plugin, what was the actual problem?
Thank you!
Hello !
The responsive version is automatically set if you deactivate the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you !
Hi,
That depends. Are you using the mobile theme plugin or not?
Without mobile theme the color settings are here https://prnt.sc/vjwc7h
With the mobile theme they are here https://prnt.sc/vjwd9p
Each color setting has an opacity slider that can be used -> https://prnt.sc/vjwcp7

Hello again!
1. Please see update above:The menus are set correctly.
2. Thankyou, changing the background of the mobile menu worked.
3. The hero section is the main photo of the girl with the flower and sunglasses. In the mobile page, the composer shows more of the image than when I view the page on my phone – on my phone, the image is cut off too short.
Cheers!

Update: The mobile menu works from the ‘Archives’ page, and from a post, just not from the home page. The menu items are greyed out on the home mobile menu and don’t load the link.
