Hi,
I am not sure if it will work with a child theme or not. Here is the list of files that can be overwritten by the child theme. : https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Yes, you can do the same for the mobile theme.
Hello,
I couldn’t find a resolution to my issue through search. When using mobile theme, I only see the post header and an empty box where the featured image would go. Any resolution to this issue?
So just wanted to see if this is a bug or is it just me
so on my website
1. The Css hidden function on Tag div composure when on mobile-only page (the new one) doesn’t actually work when in the Ipad mode – ie. when changing an element from show to hidden it does not do anything – this will work in mobile mode just not ipad mode
2. when using the mobile theme (ie the reduced theme size for AMP or Mobile) the theme does not use a reduced thumb size (ie the recommended “265×198” and the “741×486”). when testing on Chome and lighthouse speed test on developer mode, the image used is the uploaded image without reduction.
Do you think I can do the same for mobile version ?
Hello,
can I disable the mobile version for “Phone landscape”, so it will only be for “Phone Viewport”? “Phone landscape” should show the normal (responsive) layout.
Because “Phone landscape” is shown on iPad and tablets also, but “Phone landscape” is a two column view again, which makes no sense. I don’t want a second column for my mobile version, which goes under the normal content in viewport-version. When viewed with a wider screen it should use the normal responsive desktop version.
Can I change this somehow, that the mobile version of a page is only used on Smartphones (viewport)?
Thank you.But now there is also one more option.
Mobile Pages for each page.
Which seems to be a cool feature, but it’s now harder to understand what is the suggested “normal” way.
Hi,
I’m using the theme bu i don’t really understand how to use the theme mobile.
I create the mobile home page , but impossible to see this page when i try to see my site on a mobile..
What are the different steps?
What are options to activate are not?
This is very very confuse…
Hi, I can’t get the video to autoplay on mobile, it only works on desktop.

Thanks,

Also, the menu on the mobile used to be available as three lines in the upper left corner and the submenu’s were visible. Now the menu is visible as a scrolling menu at the top and no submenu’s are available. Is there a way to change that?
I tried the mobile version, but decided not to use it. Now Tagdiv’s logo is appearing on my mobile device. I have uploaded my logo in every possible section on the Newspaper theme panel and also on the Homepage. Could you tell me how to change that out please at AltantaChristianvoice.com?
Found this article
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
which shows how the mobile theme / page was made with TagDiv composer, but once it’s done, how do you use this theme on mobile?
Hi, I have updated mobile logo but it’s not updating in the mobile view
Thanks but how do I select the the mobile view port? From where? All I see is “Create Mobil” and I guess I do not want to do this. I have searched documentation and tutorials and can’t find how to. Sorry

can’t click on mobile

When you view the AMP version of the site fortworthbusiness.com you use to be able to click the mobile menu icon and get the menu, but now you don’t, it looks like it tries to load and if you inspect the code it looks like it is there but you can not click nor does it display? I don’t know if related, but I experimented with the new Mobile Templates from cloud template and decided not to test further and deleted the page, I checked my Mobile settings in the Theme Panel, I tried Mobile+AMP and just AMP, checked the correct menu was selected and changed the menu to test others same result, if you are not logged in the menu doesn’t display. I don’t know if it is leftover from the Mobile Template I tried to import or something else, I am trying to test plugins compatibility, but when I only activate Newspaper theme and its plugins, I am still logged in, and I can use user switching but still logged in, and when you are logged in, the menu appears, it is very weird. It had been working before. Any suggestions? I am limited minus actually disabling all the plugins, which I can’t do on the live site. NOTE: if you just do screen resize and look at the page, which I believe is just the Mobile version, menu works fine, so strictly an AMP issue. Maybe I can disable and remove the AMP mobile plugin and reinstall, but not sure what settings will be lost. Posting in part if others have the same issue and if it was in fact related to testing out the new Cloud Mobile Template.
Thanks but how do I select the the mobile view port? From where?
Hello,
I’m using the “Header Template 62 – Gadgets PRO” and on the mobile device not showing the logo.
Thank you!
Hi,
All these can be done using tagDiv Composer and selecting the mobile view port -> https://i.imgur.com/qB8GWxg.png
1. Select the element and check the style tab, this will apply per port view -> https://i.imgur.com/0GuphcQ.png
2. For footer menu you can do the same, select it and this time set the text size in general tab -> https://i.imgur.com/b9xF9If.png
3. Us the rights click -> https://i.imgur.com/wZt8vlz.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
Sincerely, I do not know what could be the case, but I’m glad that the problem was solved!
Also we’ll make some more teste for mobile option added in this version.
Thank you!
Have a nice weekend!
Hi, forgive the delayed response. Been trying to find a way to around it but can.
Basically, on ‘TagDiv Composer’ I’m asked to create a mobile theme which I did, goes well with the page. However when using “Theme Panel”, there doesn’t seem to be a way to make use of this mobile theme created with TagDiv Composer.
Hello,
WPRocket is a caching plugin that works great with Newspaper, although it’s not officially supported.
If you want to use the new mobile pages feature introduced with Newspaper 10.3.7 just make sure that you have activated the separate cache for mobile devices checkbox in the CACHE tab of WP Rocket. Otherwise mobile users might see the desktop-layout and vice versa.
Hello Calin,
reinstalling tagDiv Composer wasn’t successful.
So I just deleted the mobile page and recreated it from scratch. Now editing works. Don’t know why this was a problem with the first version.
Hi andertjf,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then the files that need to be edited is this one -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/comments.php
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello, I’am using AMP not the mobile plugin. But when I scroll the menu appears. But at the first look you don’t see the logo in the menu.
Hi,
The problem with the footer, I think that you have set the global one, pleas access the header manager -> import a footer template and make it as you like -> https://i.imgur.com/aqrOguG.png ->https://i.imgur.com/fOSAtOc.png normal this is the new option for mobile pages added in Newspaper v10.3.7 -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ if you want try only responsive version, set no mobile page -> https://i.imgur.com/F0Bu7Pk.png and it will be display the one from desktop.
Thank you!
