Hi,
We understand what you are saying and we agree that it will be better if the AdSense ads will work with our option for infinite scroll on articles.
@mostwonder I edited the last last reply, you can mention in our forum about other themes but it’s not allowed to post the link to them.
Thank you for your understating!
Mobile pages, across browsers and devices, are randomly showing up as misformatted, making some posts impossible to read on mobile. The site is http://www.theworthyhouse.com. It has nothing to do with cache; refreshing or clearing cache, etc., does not fix the problem. All posts are otherwise identical. However, it sometimes happens with one browser and not another (e.g., Safari/Brave)–but not consistently one browser or another. Examples:
Bad formatting: https://theworthyhouse.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Incorrect-Formatting.png
Good (correct) formatting: https://theworthyhouse.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Correct-Formatting.png
Thanks.
This mistake causes me to lose a lot of income. I was using a different theme. Publisher theme. Since the theme was closed, I switched to Newspaper theme. Publisher theme didn’t have the issue of not showing ads on infinite posts. However, in the Newspaper theme, ads do not appear during infinite uploads. Unless this is resolved I’ll have to switch to another theme.
Hi, I’ve tried setting them, it’s a bit better but still some slight shifting, I may just need to rebuild it and make sure it loads smoother!
Thank you for your help 🙂
My website URL is: http://www.collegeinfonepal.com
The header ads are only showing on the desktop. I am using other ad spots to show it on mobile.
thanks, Ana, then for future update my feedback is to find another way of infinite loading. Other themes on Envato have infinite load and the ads are working there, even on mobile sites some themes have infinite load with ads.
If users are not able to display ads within your theme, then why will one go with Newspaper theme?
Something needs to be done in the near future update, my strong feedback as we have been using Newspaper for 8 years now.
Again thanks.
No, the problem was not solved.
But it is obvious that we watched the changes even in frontend…
Here is the homepage -> http://lazio.lnd.it/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Screenshot-2024-02-06-alle-09.42.06.png
As you see from the arrow the shortcode does not charge.
On the other pages of the site built without your editor the shortcode will display without any problems. How here (see it in the right sidebar) -> https://lazio.lnd.it/archivio-comunicati

I have a question:
On the website you have a recommended text for an inline article:
[td_flex_block_1 modules_on_row=”” limit=”1″ hide_audio=”yes” show_btn=”none” show_excerpt=”none” show_review=”none” show_com=”none” show_date=”none” offset=”1″ show_author=”none” show_tag=”none” image_floated=”float_left” sort=”latest” image_width=”200px” meta_padding=”25px 0 0 25px” modules_category=”none” modules_category_margin=”0 0 10px 0″ tdc_css=”eyJhbGwiOnsiYm9yZGVyLXRvcC13aWR0aCI6IjEiLCJib3JkZXItYm90dG9tLXdpZHRoIjoiMSIsInBhZGRpbmctdG9wIjoiMTIiLCJwYWRkaW5nLWJvdHRvbSI6IjgiLCJib3JkZXItY29sb3IiOiIjZWFlYWVhIiwiZGlzcGxheSI6IiJ9fQ==”]
Is there a possibility to replace the sort=”latest” with other variations such as filter: tag, top articles, etc.?
Yes, true it is a significant revenue loss. Hope @Calin and the team can find a solution soon as we tried it on a few other competing themes on our partner websites and there the infinite scroll and Google Ads work superbly well.
Earth.com use sticky ads between paragraphs (within the content), see example.
I recreate something similar with Ad Inserter Pro but Newspaper’s css is preventing the ads being sticky. According to the plugin developer the theme sets the overflow CSS property which prevents sticky position: overflow: hidden, overflow: scroll or overflow: auto on the parent of a position: sticky element.
In the documentation with working demo of the sticky ad between paragraphs (the purple block if you scroll down) the author of the plugin mention: “Please note that sticky feature as described here depends on the styles used by the theme. If it sets overflow CSS propery on some parent element or otherwise prevents sticky position then sticky feature will not work.”
So is there a workaround this theme can work with Ad Inserter Pro?
Please advice.
Thank you.
Hi, still waiting for your response here (via support on email).
As mentioned there I have found another website using this exact same theme AND showing Google AdSense ads in the infinite loading scroll posts works on that site.. so surely Google canno’t be the problem here.
Here are links to before and after screenshots. The first is with a link in the body of the post, before a button is added (in this case, the native WordPress button, not MaxButtons). The second is when a button is added. As you can see, the addition of the button deletes some text and then makes other text the hyperlink. The HTML code is not affected and is precisely correct for the internal link. The HTML code does not reflect the “After” screenshot at all. Thanks.

Hi Calin
Why are infinite posts on scroll loading with iframe? I can see other themes for WordPress with similar infinite scroll post function shows ads in them. So either do they not load in iframe (but still have the same function) or the argument with Google Adsense not showing ads in iframe is not correct (as it clearly shows in a different site I just checked).
@kompic, as you likely know WP Rocket is a premium paid plugin.
One can start having a though that they won’t be able to mass sell their theme if they will start disclosing that in addition to buying the theme and paying to them, you will also have to buy another plugin for speed in order to meet CWV.
That’s why they have a guide for WP Super Cache, Cloudflare, etc plugins that are free and “Optimisation is not covered”.
These guides for free plugins will get your sites to 90+ no problems, I know it as I’ve done it on multiple sites.
But as soon as you have Adsense + any other external code to load java, ads or whatever – it’s basically game over for CWV. You will still be around 90 in the pagespeed test, but won’t actually pass CWV, as it collects real user experience data.
And like you also noticed they use WP Rocket for their demo. One can start thinking that maybe their guides for free plugins don’t actually work?
Maybe this can be asked on some public forum like reddit to get some fresh answers… A shared guide from three years ago from someone else’s website is not really helpful, is it?
Hi,
So you just have ignored the question you were asked and instead of answering, in 2024 you posted someone’s else guide for WP Rocket from 2021. Seriously?
The “How to make your site fast” including WP Super Cache and Cloudflare guides that you provided do not solve Core Web Vitals issues for publishers, when Google Analytics and Adsesne are in use.
You can of course say that the theme optimisation is not covered by support.
It looks like your theme is “Core Web Vitals Ready”, ONLY when external java is not used.
You probably must make it clear to everyone that Analytics and Adsense (and any other external JS) cannot be used in your theme, as it will fail Core Web Vitals.

I was asked by tagdiv team to send an email so they can explore this on my website. I sent an email 2 days ago, got no answer.
No, I don’t have PRO prebuilt website. I had an old version which used visual composer (wp bakery). There was no standard pack or other plugins. Everything was integrated within the theme.
Now, I upgraded the theme and I got bunch of plugins alongside, and adsense ads do not work as advertised. It is like I explained. I add the script to the header, and I add it to places where I want them to show (sidebar, header, footer, after the post etc.), you know, the old way within the Standard pack plugin. It doesn’t work. They only show on the frontpage under the menu. That’s it.
Hi,
I think that you have a pro prebuilt website, and you need to use the ad box to add the ads on the website. The ad box has 3 sections for ads: using theme panel ads -> https://i.imgur.com/KFa9ibl.png, using images/banners -> https://i.imgur.com/MfAPTaE.png and custom code -> https://i.imgur.com/2rh8SuD.png save it and will appear on the post (you can set a shortcode like a shortcode from adrotate plugin or other plugins).
Please provide the link to your website.
Thank you!
I have started having a problem with Newspaper. When initially arriving at my site, a text version of my Home page first appears then as the rest of the visit is processed, either a partial version of the graphics appear or the full and proper graphics of the Home page appear.
My site is: https://planetpov.com
Here are images which show what occurs.
1. Upon first landing on my Home page, a text version of the Home page is displayed:
https://planetpov.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Text-of-Home-Page-displays-initially.png
2. As the page completes its loading, sometimes a partial graphics version of the home page appears:
https://planetpov.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Final-view-of-Home-Page-only-shows-partial-info.png
3. Sometimes the full and proper graphics of the Home page appear after the text veraion of the Home page, other times after a fully loaded page only displays partial graphics of the Home page, a user will need to manually refresh the Home page to see the full graphics of the Home page:
https://planetpov.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Manual-refresh-of-home-page-finally-displays-it-properly.png
As mentioned, this issue recently began, I’ve been using Newspaper for years without this issue. Appreciate help in resolving it. Thanks!
Hello,
Usually, the ads in prebuilt websites are set in the element AD BOX, and you can remove it, edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport for phone and select the Ad box element and with right-click you can delete it => https://www.screencast.com/t/2GfCVx9BCAw7 or with drag & drop place it into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page
Thank you!
In order to put filters at wordpress content we use this filter that works
at all themes in order to filter the content, add ads inside article etc
add_filter(‘the_content’, ‘function_with_the_filters’, 100);
At newspaper it work at desktop version but not at mobile theme, obviously
at mobile there is other filter, this is what i am searching for
Thank you. I tried that, and I have been able to update the theme.
I’m having another issue, though, which I was able to troubleshoot while everything was deactivated. I am having a problem where the homepage loads a blank page, and when I try to edit the homepage in the TagDiv editor, I get a ‘modal’ red error and am unable to make any changes at all.
This problem goes away when I deactivate the following plugins:
Mailpoet
Jetpack
Sitekit by Google
Normally, I would just not use a plugin that was breaking something, but these plugins are pretty critical to site operations. Can you look into what’s causing this error?
Hello Bettina,
Sorry for being pushy, but this problem probably happened to a lot of people that migrated to Newspaper from other themes. I cannot edit thousands of entries manually to add this.
Is there any way to do it at least against one post programmatically? In this case, i will be able to modify the code to do it massively.
BTW, one image linked in https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-window/ is broken. To be more specific, this image: https://forum.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/lightBox.png
Thank you
Hello,
I just checked on the website and the website seems to display the ads – https://i.imgur.com/aPEdhH4.png if you want to display a different image per device, please make sure that each image is set using the correct tags – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-using-other-ads/ – https://i.imgur.com/eYz2MqT.png
Thank you!
Greetings.
When I upload an ad image I have tried it in various sizes and it does not change. esnoticiapr.com (Ref. ManPowerGroup) I make the changes in Theme Panel -> Ads and in Photoshop and upload them according to the desired size. Continues with the same size on Desktop. On other devices it changes.
