Hi,

It that happening only when the Newspaper theme is active? You could make a quick test with a default wordpress theme to see if it works correctly.

Such issues can be caused by insufficient resources for the website. We provide this requirements guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Specifically for that error, which is quite common, there are guides like this one for example https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-link-you-followed-has-expired-error-in-wordpress/

If you are unsure of how to increase the limits on the website, I can take a look. You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website and admin login, and also access to cPanel or FTP or something similar.

Thanks.

Hi,

Please try to set the wp-memory limit according to the guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ then it will display the number set.
Also, can you provide some examples of errors you get in the error log?

Thank you!

Hi,
Since July, we’ve had an issue with our website that we can’t resolve. Our CLS, measured with PageSpeed Insights, is greater than or equal to 0.30 on mobile. We can’t figure out what’s causing this high CLS. For example, on the desktop side, we have a CLS of 0.002. The problem only affects mobile, and since this issue began, the site hasn’t met Google’s requirements, preventing our articles from being published on Goolge Discover (before, when we met all the mobile requirements, we were always on Goolge Discover).
Our magazine is this: http://www.moviemag.it
Can you check and tell us how to fix the problem?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
What I will suggest is to check the theme requirementshttps://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ and make a test using only the tagDiv plugin to see if the problem persists.
If the problem is still persisting, please make a backup for the website and please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide WP-Admin and cPanel or FTP access. We’ll check it as soon as possible.
Thank you!

Hello,

There are a few situations when the cloud templates can not be imported, so it is essential to make sure that the theme requirements are set as we mentioned in this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If the settings are set and the situation persists, please let me know the pre-built website you want to install and you are facing this situation.

Also, an alternative is to import the template for that demo, which can be done from the Cloud templatehttps://i.imgur.com/rXvPvP9.png

Thank you!

Hi,
I understand that you’ve tried using only the tagDiv plugins and the issue still persists. However, did you follow the theme requirements outlined in our guide—particularly the code modification shown here: https://i.imgur.com/UYsywkT.png ?

Can you confirm whether you applied that change? If so, does the problem still occur afterward?
Thank you!

Hi,

First of all, thank you so much for being one of our customers — we truly appreciate your support.

Regarding the issue you’ve raised, I’m not sure if it started recently or if it’s been there since you first purchased the theme (which was about a year and a half ago). If it’s been present from the beginning, I’m genuinely surprised it wasn’t addressed earlier, as it’s a fairly general situation that we usually resolve quickly.

On the other hand, if this is a new issue, I do want to mention that your message about leaving a negative review feels a bit unfair, especially considering that your support period expired some time ago. We’re always happy to help where we can, but framing a review as a condition for support can come across as coercive, and we prefer to work through issues in good faith.

That said, we’re here to help however we reasonably can. Let’s see what we can do to get this sorted for you.

Please make sure that all the theme requirements from our guide are properly set: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ In particular, double-check this configuration: https://i.imgur.com/Z9zCgkb.png

If that doesn’t resolve the issue, try switching your permalinks to Simple/Plain. Sometimes, depending on the host, you may need to contact them to enable pretty permalinks properly.

Also, could you please test the theme with only the tagDiv plugins active (disable all other plugins temporarily)? This will help us check if there’s a plugin conflict causing the issue.

Let us know what you find. Thank you!

Hello,
Please do some tests:
– try to open only the header in the composer
– try to open only the footer in the composer
If none of the above is working, then the problem is not caused by the cloud header and/or footer, and you need to make sure there is no plugin conflict. For this, please do a test using only tagDiv plugins.
Also, make sure that the theme settings are set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!

Hi,
Please run a test using only the tagDiv plugins to see if the issue still occurs; it is possible that it is a plugin conflict,
Also, ensure that debug mode is set to false, as outlined in our guide here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Let us know the results.

Hi,

Thank you for your message and your continued support,we really appreciate your feedback!

We’re currently estimating a theme update toward the end of the month, which will include fixes and performance improvements.

Many of the features you mentioned are already available in our theme and can be implemented using the tagDiv Opt-in Builder:

Pricing table with payment options
Examples:
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_coaching_pro/pricing/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_downtown_pro/tds-switching-plans-wizard/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/newspaper-prebuilt-websites/?demo-type=membership

Paywall for exclusive content (supports direct bank transfer, PayPal, and Stripe):
https://forum.tagdiv.com/subscriptions/

Frontend guest and sponsored post submission management with payment:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-frontend-submission-form/

As for dark mode, you’re right, this isn’t currently built into the theme. However, there are several compatible third-party plugins you can use to implement this feature, and we’re keeping modern design trends like this in mind for future updates.

If you need help setting up any of the above or have specific requirements, feel free to reach out, we’d be happy to assist you along the way.

Thanks again for your valuable input!

Hi,

I have a suggestion. There is a code here in this guide at the bottom – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ -> https://prnt.sc/TmC5DyBs-fRf. Please enter that code in the .htaccess file at the end. It can be done using the file manager from cPanel. That code should fix the problem.

Let me know the results.

Hi,
We received your email and it appears that this notice can be removed if the debug is set to false https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/. It appears to be related to some settings from a block on the homepage, but for the moment, we haven’t identified it. We’ll reply via email when is done.
Thank yoU!

Hi TagDiv Support,

I’m using the latest version of the Newspaper theme (v12) along with the TagDiv Composer plugin. I’m currently encountering a critical issue: whenever I try to edit any page using TagDiv Composer, I get a 404 error.

Here’s what I’ve done so far to troubleshoot:

Updated WordPress, the Newspaper theme, and all plugins to the latest versions

Resaved permalink settings

Cleared all cache (browser, site, CDN)

Deactivated all other plugins to check for conflicts

Verified that the pages exist and are using the correct templates

I also enabled debugging and noticed this warning in the logs:

Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the “td-cloud-library” domain was triggered too early.
(From: /wp-includes/functions.php on line 6121)

This may point to an issue with how the theme or plugin handles translation loading, possibly affecting the TagDiv Composer’s ability to load edit URLs correctly.

Can you please advise:

Is this a known issue in the current version?

Is there a patch or update available to resolve this?

Are there any specific server settings or requirements (e.g., rewrite rules, PHP version) that I should verify?

Looking forward to your help as this is preventing us from editing content on the site.
