Hi guys,
I have been working on a sandbox site, and when I updated it from PHP 5.6 to PHP 7.0, my pages went blank. Posts still visible as normal.
Reinstalled latest version of theme from Themeforest, deleted/reinstalled all TD plugins and deactivated everything else.
Have traced issue to the TD multi-purpose plugin. Currently running only TD composer, which displays many errors on the page from multi-purpose elements not working.
I get three “wp_booster error” warnings above the header and several errors in the page itself.
When I activate the multi-purpose plugin, everything goes blank apart from the header and main menu.
If I try to edit the page using TD composer, I get the following error:
Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
Have deleted browser caches, been checking from different computers, logged in and logged out, makes no difference. Site is not connected to a CDN and not running any caching programme.
Site homepage is: http://compareallvans.co.uk/
Example of working post is: http://compareallvans.co.uk/volvo-xc40-review/
If I revert to PHP 5.6, everything returns to normal and looks fine.
Do you have any suggestions, or is this a bug?
Hello! We have had a problem with admin ajax for about three weeks and we are still working to get it fixed without any success. This problem prevents new entries to be shown when users click on the arrow to load new entries or they scroll down to see more entries, for example. The most serious problem we have is the following:
jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:4 POST https://www.profedeele.es/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newsmag&v=4.2 net::ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR
We have disabled all plugins and the problem persists. We have done a cleanup of the database tables and nothing changes. We have contacted the server manager and they have done all the possible tests and have recommended the following. Literal copy of their message:
“I have been reviewing and at server level I am not seeing anything additional that may be affecting you.
When you try to click on the arrow and the screen is blocked, a request is sent that generates a 404 error.
Specifically the one you indicated to us 147.135.228.61 – – [27/Mar/2018:18:15:33 +0200] “GET /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.form.min.js.map HTTP/1.0” 404 42135 “-” “Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36”
If you go to the URL https://www.profedeele.es/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newsmag&v=4.2 you can see that it gives protocol error (ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR) you can also see it from any of the browser developer tools developer you use.
The issue is that if you access https://www.profedeele.es/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php this protocol error does not appear, so it seems that the admin-ajax.php is calling some external resource via https that does not have SSL certificate and generates the problem.
This may depend on the configuration of the theme itself, Daniel. I would recommend that you get in touch with the WP Theme support to see what kind of requests it makes and they can help you in a more adequate way so that you can solve the problem. “
You can check everything I mention on my website:
http://www.profedeele.es
I hope you can help us
Dany 😉
When creating a sidebar Its difficult to know how each block looks like without adding it to the template and previewing. Is there a location I can see a visual sample of each tagdiv block for the sidebar?
Hi,
Of course you can, please follow this link and submit the website, our team will review it
– https://pr3.typeform.com/to/A8ZMaG
Thank you!
I had to revisit this topic after testing my site on a staging site with the current version of Gutenberg plugin (2.5.0) and I hope the tagdiv team can chip in, rather than expecting the same hopeless reply of “we don’t intend to use this plugin in future”. For once, as expected, the shortcodes associated with the theme are missing from the Gutenberg editor, but I mostly only use the smart list shortcode a lot and I had to type [td_smart_list_end] in a shortcode block at every instance of a new test post which was rather annoying (and even seems complicated for existing post). Second, I don’t know if this is due to the plugin or the theme, I tried to edit a published post and sometimes it would not show preview unless I made it into a draft, where then it would work.
My request to the team is to start considering how to integrate their features that are in the classic WordPress editor to the Gutenberg editor to save their clients a lot of agony and misery when the editor rolls out in WordPress core (5.0). Though I should point out I only had installed td composer and td newsletter only plus several other plugins that do not come with the theme.
But I still like it that there is the classic editor for now (with Gutenberg installed) so I could just switch back to classic and make the changes there. Still, this should be in the tagdiv team’s priority list.
Hello,
How Should i increase “Load More” Button’s size?

By default it is not well noticeable.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks. I understand that. I guess what I’m wondering is why is this theme so much skinnier than most others?
I had 40 people review my site, and 11 of them commented on it being too skinny on their resolutions.
BTW, I worked with a dev and came up with this. It works pretty well. Perhaps you could look at it, modify it, and consider it for future releases?
@media only screen and (min-width: 1500px) {
.td-boxed-layout .td-container-wrap, .td-boxed-layout .td-header-menu-wrap.td-affix {
width: calc(100% - 200px) !important;
}
.td-container, .tdc-row {
width: calc(100% - 100px) !important;
}
.td-ss-main-sidebar {
width: 400px !important;
}
}
@media only screen and (min-width: 1900px) {
.td-ss-main-sidebar {
width: 500px !important;
}
}

Hello,
Sorry but the review does not work like that. You cannot move it to the last page as the review is not positioned inside the post content itself. It is a separate element that will show on every page in a paginated post.
Thanks.
Before that option was introduced there was no choice to make. When a post had reviews the review stars would appear in the modules replacing the other meta. Now that can be controlled by a general setting, the one in the theme panel.
I believe it is a design choice to display either the review stars or the other meta. This option could be added as an option in the tagDiv composer for each block in a future update.
I need to change the position of Review i am doing.
When i use pagination within the review post and I set the post as REVIEW from TagDiv Settings. Review is shown on the bottom of all pages in a post.
can i somehow move the position of the review in the last page in the pagination
OK but two more questions (thanks so much btw)
1. why is the metadata not appearing in my non-review posts then? (ie all those under the features)
2. Is there any way to get it to show all three metadata at once? If not can I adjust it to show different metadata in each individual module/block?
Thanks
I see that most of your posts have reviews, note that the review stars will replace the author name and date by default. There is a setting in the theme panel to display the author name and date instead of review stars on blocks/modules
– https://www.screencast.com/t/8IsMzelgA
Then if the author name and also the date are enabled they will be displayed.
Hi,
We installed the Art Creek theme but the hero image on our homepage is less wide than the hero image on the demo website.
Our website: https://navigatormag.be/ (user: previewer password: navmag9396)
Your demo: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_art_creek/
When I look at the code, I see a class td-boxed-layout in the body tag. I don’t know how to switch the boxed layout to fullwidth lay-out.
I read in the forum that the website automatically switches to boxed when adding a background but we haven’t added a background so that can’t be the reason. I haven’t found a setting to switch to boxed anywhere in the theme settings, neither in the page settings.
Searching for “box” or “boxed” in the theme documentation doesn’t give any relevant hits.
Please advice how we can switch the website from boxed to fullwidth.
Hello, I apologize I don’t think I have a demo installed. Anyway my website is: http://beforethecyborgs.com/ if you would like to take a look and possibly tell me how I can get the author, date and review metadata to show up on every block/post on the homepage.
Your assistance is much appreciated as I am completely lost here!
Hello i have done the steps and double checked that I have in fact hit the options you outlined but the metadata for date, author are still not appearing on the blocks on my homepage. Reviews and functioning properly however.
Please Advise
If you Use Yoast SEO Plugin, make sure the option “Date in Snippet Preview” is enabled in SEO>Search Appearance>Content Types.
Hi Simion,
I have the same issue, and even I reviewed my server and I found there all the images I tried to upload to the Media Library.
What can I do if my web hosting is doing well?
Regards
Hi, I am trying to get the author, review and date meta data to appear on the blocks/modules of my homepage but for whatever reason the tab under block settings that alter this setting in the theme panel do not seem to be working properly (unless I am mistaken).
The Category tag on module / blocks setting is working fine but I cannot get the meta data to function.
Please advise and thanks in advance
Hi,
For me it works, please check here

You can also preview AMP pages from the back-end

Thanks
Hello,
Unfortunately our theme does not have any reviews for pages. You can only use reviews on posts in our theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes i disabled the child theme and then installed everything cleanly but it did nothing. I then increased the memory limit to 256M in wp-config, it started listing ‘all posts’ but very slowly that means it is taking too much resources which was not the case earlier. I have emailed you the credentials for your review.
I want to use review in the pages just as in the posts, how can I manage this?
Hello hebbars.kitchen,
Please understand that the main functionality of AMP plugin is to display the posts very quickly on the Google’s eye. Basically, when a client in on AMP version, he is not on your website (that’s why your visits were falling down more and more ) and the main goal is to redirect it to your own website. The AMP will have to be viewed as a preview to the posts pages of your website which are delivered by the Google AMP Cache. This is a proxy-based content delivery network for delivering all valid AMP documents. It fetches AMP HTML pages, caches them, and improves page performance automatically. For more information about this case and to better understand the operating system for this plug-in, please check the following useful manual from here -> https://www.searchenginejournal.com/difference-accelerated-mobile-pages-amp-mobile-friendly-pages/172967/
As a very good example, please check the official page of Seo Yoast and there you will see that they have not implemented the menu bar on AMP pages, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/OfzMGTLPQk
For more references and for a better understanding of AMP functionality please read the plugin documentation!!!
Thanks for your understanding!
Thank you.
The main thing I wasn’t sure about to start with was whether the structured data (e.g. author and review rating) was being set correctly, but after checking with Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool it does all look correct.
Hi
Some of the posts on my site are reviews.
I give products a rating of up to 5 stars.
I assumed the NewsMag theme would create the necessary structured data, for google to display my rating in search results. But my articles just show up as text in search results.
Do I have to manually add the structured data to every review, or am I missing something?
Thanks
