Hello!
1. You can use the modal popup with a page(you can add an ad box in that page to add your ad) to open automatically: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/
2. You can use Ad rotate plugin; for example, make the carousel there (group of images) and then add the shortcode into the ad box: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
3. Also, you can use the modal popup, as I explained in point 1. You should duplicate the post template to have a special template with the modal popup open automatically and assign it manually on each special post. Check this useful guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-use-tagdiv-cloud-library-templates/
Thank you!
Hello,
after the last update of Newspaper theme, I’m experiencing a weird behavoiur with Center Magazine Pro.
If I’m logged in, I can see a correct mobile layout. If I’m not logged in, the mobile layout is totally broken.
Every time I update the theme, all the tagdiv plugins are automatically uninstalled. I need to manually install them again, but now everything seems ok. I mean I don’t think is a problem related to plugins.
– tagDiv Composer is active
– tagDiv Cloud Library is active
– tagDiv Social Counter is active
– tagDiv Newsletter is active
– tagDiv Opt-In Builder is active
The url is https://cronachedibirra.it/
Here can you see the layouts for logged (correct, left) and not logged (broken, right) users https://cdn1.cronachedibirra.it/wp-content/uploads/20250220184159/Senza-titolo-1.png
Hello!
You need the Cloud Library plugin for your website. 500 Internal Server Error server error response code indicates that the server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request. Check those guides: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/ -> https://eu.siteground.com/kb/internal_server_error_500/
Let the host provider know about those issues as well, maybe he can guide you.

Hello,
AMP is deprecated as of January 2023-> https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp so we don’t longer recommend it.
You have the mobile theme version now, so you can disbale the plugins to check the responsive version.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!
Hi,
I assure you that there is some problem not attributable to the cache or plug-in conflict, since I deleted the cache and also entered anonymous browsing and also deactivated all the plugins leaving only the necessary “tagDiv Composer” and “tagDiv Cloud Library”.
The example you shared you can see it from the backend, in fact it works for me from there too but if I see it from the front end it doesn’t work.
I am editing my site and when I try to open a page and edit it, Tagdiv Composer will not open the page. It opens the page with only the left panel showing to access the cloud library and the “Welcome To TagDiv Composer” message. The right side where the content is supposed to be only displays a blank page, and the loading icon just keeps loading. Nothing else. The page can be previewed with no apparent issues except the menu and header section won’t display.
I have 6 pages and none will open with Tagdiv Composer except one but it is not a page I need to work on. I’ve tried clearing the cache, disabling plugins, unistalling and reinstalling the TagDiv Composer and TagDiv cloud library. I’ve also tried reinstalling the theme. Nothing works.
The site is not live and has never been published. Any suggestions?
I am running a site with a Newspaper: Urban Observer theme. I have tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Opt-In Builder and tagDiv Standard Pack plugins installed. My site is running very slow, loading time is above 3 seconds. Note that database returns queries in less than 0,2s.
I have tried to find what’s slowing the page down, including upgrading the server etc but nothing helped significantly. I have decided to change the theme to Twenty-Twentyfive and the site loads under 0,5s. Ovbiously,Newspaper theme is to blame for the slow response time. Since I’m running another site with Newspaper that runs faster, but using another theme (Gossip that is not cloud based), I have tried to see if the tagdiv cloud is slowing my site down. I have disabled tagDiv Cloud Library plugin and the site loaded in less than 1s. Of course, the site design was broken. But still, obviously, tagDiv Cloud Library plugin is responsible for greatly reducing site speed.
Here are my questions:
1. Am I using the Cloud theme somehow incorrectly?
2. Can I still use the theme but disable cloud features (and have a site that is not broken)?
3. If I change to another non-cloud theme, what’s the best way to do it in order not to lose all the settings?
Side note: two other themes that I’m using with different sites are also slow, but not so slow: Publication PRO and Video News PRO. Both are running with tagDiv Cloud Library enabled.
Hello,
This shortcode means you don’t have a plugin installed, like the TagDiv cloud library.
We are going to have a documentation soon, in general, a donation-type plan can be created here, which has a similar workflow to the ones with plans.
Thank you!
Hello,
to be honest, that was the case with me at the beginning, too.
Now, a lot of things don’t work anymore, not even with other browsers.
Example: With Firefox, for example, many inputs disappear in the CSS tab in the Tagdiv Composer, with Chrome etc. you can see them, but I can’t edit anything under Firefox, Chrome, Vivaldi, Edge etc. under “Column Text” > “Edit Content”, the WP code window is always empty.
This was just one example, I have 2 websites here that urgently need to be adapted and for weeks everything has been standing still.
At the moment, I think, because the cases are piling up here, that it is directly related to your tagdiv composer plugin, who knows how the plugin is running, maybe the license is checked every time it is called and something goes wrong there, or whatever.
Please fix it quickly, my customers are already pressuring me why nothing is going on.

Hi,
I’m glad. I recommend using Flex blocks or big grid flex and cloud templates, because the tagdiv Standard pack plugin is deprecated.
Have a great day!
Hello,
You have the mobile theme plugin activated. When the mobile theme plugin is used; you need to set for pages the page content in the mobile editor using only the options from that editor – https://i.imgur.com/p8EqE1b.png. also, there is an option to disable the mobile theme from a page/post – https://i.imgur.com/d3kTBRf.png. This option appears in the Gutenberg editor. After you disable the mobile theme on the page, you can use the responsive version.

Thanks for the info. I’m assuming this is using a cloud header template? We aren’t using any cloud templates and when I’m in the composer, it says this header isn’t editable. Is there way to do it in CSS? Instead of having it show the main menu, swap it to show the top bar only on mobile devices? We tried enabling the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin and it crashes the site, not sure why so aren’t using it since the theme is working perfectly.

Managed to get this sorted after digging through Composer and Cloud Library plugins’ code.
Here’s the code snippet:
add_filter('author_template', 'columnist_custom_author_template', 99999);
function columnist_custom_author_template($default_template) {
global $wp;
// 1. Check if it's actually an author archive
// 2. Check the matched_rule to see if it's the columnist rule
if (is_author() && isset( $wp->matched_rule ) && '^columnist/([^/]+)/?$' === $wp->matched_rule) {
apply_filters('td_single_override', id); // COLUMNIST Cloud Library's Cloud Template ID (integer)
}
// Otherwise, return the default template (which might load template from TagDiv’s normal assignment)
return $default_template;
}
The important bit is
apply_filters('td_single_override', id);
where the second parameter is TagDiv Cloud Library’s Cloud Template ID (integer).
on my website, I see that the main theme has an update but when i update the theme the entire site is broken and the two divi plugins get deactivated. tagDiv Composer
and tagDiv Cloud Library. we have a child theme activated of the newspaper theme and when i go into themes, on the main original theme (not the activated child theme) it shows there is an update available. as soon as i update it the entire site is broken and the two divi plugins shows suddenly as deactivated but then when i click to activate and try to activate them they do not activate and stays deactivated.
Hi,
I am introducing an Ad box element in my page. I am adding the image ad for all pages, and then the external URL and I am checking the checkbox to open in a new tab. Then when I am saving the edits and load the page, the ad is directing to my homepage instead of the external link. When I reload the tagdiv editor, I can see that the URL has not been saved. I add it again, and it is not saved again.
I have checked the browser console, and I do not see any errors there. I have checked the server Logs (Apache) and I do not see any errors there either.
In debug.log I have tons of errors like the following:
[10-Jan-2025 09:11:52 UTC] PHP Deprecated: preg_match(): Passing null to parameter #2 ($subject) of type string is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/finupnews.gr/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/includes/Mobile_Detect.php on line 1257

The only solution has been to delete the module altogether and start from scratch. But even that is not always guaranteed to work properly. Meaning, it is very possible that deleting the Ad box which is not saving the URL, and adding a new Ad box and following the process step by step from zero can sometimes work, but it can also not work again and again.
Please advise how can it work properly? I have the Newspaper theme in its most recent version, and everything else is up to date.
Best regards,
Konstantinos
Hello!
1. Make sure you use a cloud category template and that you assigned the correct header for that template. Also, make sure the blank header template is set as global in the Cloud Templates.
2. Add the “Text with title” element and the shortcode inside the Wp Editor.
3. As I explained in your previous topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/assistance-required-with-menu-links-category-pages-sidebars-weather-widget/ there you can have multiple templates and assign them to the specific category. Also, you can choose which template a category is using in the theme panel settings -> https://app.screencast.com/dg8AOErO49DnC as well as for the posts of that category.
4. Make sure you do not use extra plugins that can interfere or any redirections for those links.
5. If you use different templates for your categories, you can set a custom location for each template regarding the category.
6. So you can also have different single templates for your posts. Import a blank template and start customizing it. You can also import it from our Cloud Library. You can display a gallery like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/
7. I think you use the shortcode called social counter. So you can use the shortcode called Social icons.
8. By using this shortcode: https://app.screencast.com/6F121VwWArZdd, you can filter by their ID found here: https://app.screencast.com/HquqZnpaDpHDo
Yes, maybe you can start building with CPTs.
I do not recommend using any event plugin because we did not test anyone. Some customers encounter conflicts with our theme, so I do not recommend using it.
Thank you!
Hello!
Ensure you’ve added a category to your menu https://app.screencast.com/u2dpUEXs2ccyk and not a custom link. Make sure there is no plugin conflict or a caching issue.
You can build a sidebar with the TagDiv Composer. Steps:
1. Insert one new row (or delete an existing one).
2. Divide into two columns (2/3 + 1/3).
3. You can add whatever element you want from the tagdiv Composer to the second column and consider it a sidebar
You can assign or duplicate multiple templates. See https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-logo-in-categorypage/ for more information.
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
Add multiple shortcodes. Check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/weather-widget/
You can build your own block with any title by using a flex block 1 instead with any filter or sort ordering as presented here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Forgot to mention I also disabled all the plugins except for tagdiv cloud library, and tagdiv composer
Hello,
Yes, you can not exclude posts from a category, but you can choose another type, for example, the tag option, to filter it.
he code for infinite post iframe is on those files:
-> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/includes/tdb_ajax.php
-> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/assets/js/js_posts_autoload.min.js
-> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
Also, this can be implemented with custom work, if you want.
The options in the theme are added based on their popularity and how often they have been requested. This option hasn’t been requested very often.
Thank you!
Hello,
Have you checked if the plugins you had before the update are installed and activated, like the tagdiv Composer, tagdiv Cloud Library, and tagdiv Standard pack?
Also, please try to update the theme without activating extra plugins during the installation, as this may interfere with the process.
