I imported the cloud single template, and I saw the template files with a green global icon display on the right. However, I don’t see an option to install the cloud template in WordPress. Also, I already have the TagDiv Cloud Library plugin installed in WordPress

It only appears when I have tagDiv Cloud Library plugin activated. Maybe it’s trying to pull a style from somewhere?

Another thing, it happens when I try to insert “Post Loop” into the page/templates

Dear Admin,
I very happy with your theme.
Currently, we are doing migrate to tagDiv Cloud Library to make website faster.
We are following this guide: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-update-standard-pack-or-tagdiv-cloud-templates/
But we still have confusions when removing dependencies.
As guide notice: ” Almost every template from the theme panel already exists in the tagDiv Cloud Library. …”
But I cannot find any same name block in tagdiv Cloud Library
Example:
Current Header: https://i.ibb.co/W63g421/current-header.png
Current Theme import: https://i.ibb.co/j5npD5w/current-import-theme.png
Tagdiv Cloud Template search: https://i.ibb.co/QfWS2yc/Header-tag-Div-Cloud-templates.png

Please kindly guide me or let me know document which help me migrate to Cloud Library smoothly from Standart Pack plugin

Thanks

Hello,

We currently have several news websites running on the Newspaper platform. However, whenever we want to update the theme, the ‘tagDiv Composer’ and ‘tagDiv Cloud Library’ plugins are automatically deactivated after this update. As a result, we experience problems with the websites because we have to check every website after such an update.

We are currently working on several new websites for which we want to use this theme. To make a good choice, we think it is important to know whether we can somehow circumvent this, and to ensure that the plugins remain active after an update.

Can you help me with this?

Hi,

The standard template come from plugin tagdiv Standard Pack plugin; this plugin is deprecated, which is why I recommend that you use cloud templates, for all templates. Those are easier to edit, you can do your own design, or you can choose one to import https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/ -> https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria,

I only need the cloud template for the header.

Do you expect this to happen for the fonts?

I have no other plugins active. Only Newspaper Theme, Tagdiv composer, tagDiv Standard Pack, tagDiv Cloud Library

However, when I go to Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Theme Fonts -> Google Font Styles and enabled the BOLD 600 and 700 it fixed the FONTS issue on the single page

Do you think this is ok and will not have complications?

Hi, brand new site with nothing on it, on siteground, server cache off, no other plugins on site.

When I install the latest version 12.3, it errors when installing the plugins.
tagDiv Composer : Ajax error
tagDiv Cloud Library: Ajax error
An error occurred and we could not finish the process. Please manually update the plugins.

And if I manually do it, then it works, but license doesn’t activate to install demo’s, it just hangs. Any ideas?

Hi,

The problem is caused by WP BAKERY plugin; please disable it. Usually, this problem can appear when you are using the WPBakery if you have this plugin enables, then please disable it and try again. There may be a conflict between WPBakery and the tagDiv cloud library.
We have long recommended to shift from WPBakery to tagDiv Composer because WPBakery is an old builder plugin => https://i.imgur.com/O4CA0y0.png -> https://i.imgur.com/bFnzNtQ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/mv8AhFU.png -> https://i.imgur.com/IMyLYiY.png

Thank you!

To be sure that we are referring to the same problem, please provide a screenshot with the banners (they should be small and only in certain places).

In this case, I will tell you the places where the banners are located in the code so that you can comment/delete them
– wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_js.php comment the code from function td_js_msg_3 – https://i.imgur.com/iEQVVzq.png
– wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/td-cloud-library.php comment the code inside the if – https://i.imgur.com/UWHUsZ7.png
– wp-content/plugins/td-subscription/includes/admin/templates/tds-settings-header.php comment the code – https://i.imgur.com/AHVx9Km.png
– wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/wp-admin/panel/panel_core/td_panel_core.php comment this code – https://i.imgur.com/DKYmtni.png
– wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/tagdiv-view-header.php comment this code – https://i.imgur.com/7fHmBYv.png
I hope this will help you!

Hello,

Usually, this problem can appear when you are using the WPBakery if you have this plugin enables then please disable it and try again. There may be a conflict between WPBakery and the tagDiv cloud library.
Make sure there is not a plugin conflict or a cache issue. Please make a test, deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

Thank you!

Hello,

This element is available in the Single Post Template it is the same procedure as if you were using a plugin; you must have several headings in the post -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qrHFBXUKmj

Thanks, effectively I forgot to update the TagDiv plugins, Cloud Library and Composer, and I had to put the header and single post templates back, instead of the default ones.
But the function of wordpress for display featured posts in homepage doesn’t work.
Maybe it’s a conflict with some plugin? Jetpack?
Best regards

Hi,

Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

Hello!

Basically, we have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

Make sure you do not use Mobile theme plugin, if you use the mobile option 1 or 2.

The AMP only works better with the Mobile Theme plugin. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/

For the cloud templates, you can choose a global font or a global color in the TagDiv Composer ->  Website Manager: https://imgur.com/PM6VoBL. But, for the default templates, the theme panel settings are there. More info here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/ -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbkYVyj1__Q

We recommend using cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features. Please check out our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Hello,

You can use the cloud templates without using the elements from tagdiv Standard Pack; this plugin is deprecated.

1. I’m using Advanced Ajax Page Loader, some plugin that allows me to load all page content without reloading the window. Everything works properly, expect that when I switch to some other page I have to trigger image loading and other tagdiv js again. Is there a simple way to trigger it when some user clicks a new page?

2. Other question. I’ve made many changes to some files.
> plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/single/tdb_single_author.php
> plugins/td-composer/td-multi-purpose/shortcodes/tdm_block_button.php
> plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/header.php
> plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/footer.php

how to make it part of my child theme? is that possible?
