Hi there.
How can i get a custom block to appear in ‘add element’ within TagDiv composer?
Is this the only way: https://forum.tagdiv.com/practical-example-how-to-add-a-new-block-and-module/

as this seems pretty involved since actually creating the block in TD from the cloud templates is so easy. I’m sure there must be an easy way to register / use newly created blocks?

Basically, what I need to do is make Block 18 have two top images rather than one, full width image. I like the single thumbnail / excerpt list below but no other block seems to be able to do this.

So, either edit block 18 to do this or be able to easily use my custom block within a page as a new element.

Any help gratefully received

Hi, I have the problem that the tdcomposer icons for “Font Awesome”, “Typicons” etc. are not loading (backend). The only icons I can see while creating a site using td composer are from “Font Newspaper”

Hi,

You can try using the Cloud Templates and create your own custom Category template, using the TD Composer. There you can use any block you want and sort your categories as you want.

Thanks for the message!

Ok, I going to desactivate Js Composer and use only TD Composer.
Thanks for the support Catalin.
Best regards.

Dear, these are the options available to me in the tdcomposer. Please look at this and suggest me how can I change the block text size?

Hey @bogdan-b

I investigate some time to debug issue,
and I catch it!

Problem in TD_Composer wp-admin script!

Problem comes on ThirstyAffiliates plugin report page.
And on any wp-admin page if you resize window size. (tested without ThirstyAffiliates plugin, only tagDiv components)

Please check screenshots,
and add it to developers bugs list.

Thank you

Hi,

It’s not necessary to use both of them in the simultaneous mode, sorry! We recommend using only TD Composer and create your pages using this page builder.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

You could use a post template that doesn’t show the featured image in the post page, template 5 and 12
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-mcdonell-kanye-west-highlights-difficulties-for-celebrities/
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-blake-griffin-posterizes-aron-baynes-twice-in-clippers-spurs-game/

Or design a cloud post template with the tagDiv composer and don’t use a featured image element
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Or modify one of the cloud post templates designed by us and remove the featured image element from it, here you can preview the cloud post templates
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single

Or disable the featured image from the theme panel, if you want to do this for the whole website

Thanks

Hi Simion and team,

Sorry for the delay in replying on this; got overtaken by other jobs.

The shortcodes were entered using the TD Composer in text elements.

If I go into the regular backend WordPress page edit screen and replace the bbPress shortcode with regular plain text, the error message disappears and TD Composer works as normal.

If I add the shortcodes via the WordPress page edit screen, it will display correctly to visitors but it breaks the TD Composer when I want to use it to edit the page.

If I build a new page using TD Composer, I can add the shortcodes and save the page as normal, but if I exit the composer and then try to open it again, I get the red error message.

Hope that helps,

stuart

Hi,

You are referring to these titles from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3sGpsHz6 These are block titles which can be changed from TD Composer when you edit your page with this page builder. For more information about TD Composer, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi, I want to use the Original Visual Composer, but the zip file is missing in the package… only td-composer.zip.

Hello,

I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins with the theme, sorry! Please remove all of these and leave just to active only the plugins which come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, we recommend using the TD Composer page builder which is more powerful and adapted with our theme. Also, if you choose to use the Visual Composer, you need to use only the recommended layout from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/UixyjXT2F Otherwise, you can bring some bad results.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks.

Hi There,

I just bought this theme on Friday. I went to install in on my site tonight and am having trouble getting visual composer installed. I have been to: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

Which is great, except I checked every folder and can not find the path to js_composer.zip. I only have td_composer! This is the path where I found the plugins i could find:

themeforest-9512331-newsmag-news-magazine-newspaper-wordpress-theme.zip\Newsmag\includes\plugins

Please get back to me on what I should do.

Hi,

Unfortunately I do not quite understand for what elements on homepage you want to set the padding, if you want to set it for content here is an example with custom css -> https://www.screencast.com/t/02fcnwjFX
.home .td-main-content-wrap {
padding-top: 148px!important;
}

And here is an example using tagDiv Composer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XSsq3SNSw5

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,

Please make sure that you have the tagDiv Composer activate, because you are using one template for multipurpose and this need the td Composer to be activate or you can change that template -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ZPXyzOev5P3S

If the problem is still there please provide some more details and some screenshots with this problem.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi, I am using Newspaper version 9.2.2 and I have a serious issue. When I edit an element in TD Composer and I click the Save icon, it starts spinning and it never ends. I have to Exit and say Yes to the Save to the warning modal window. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Simion C.

Hi,

There is an issue similar to what you are describing when the composer save animation doesn’t stop spinning, when the mobile theme plugin is active. The page should still be saved even if the success message is not displayed however.

This problem will be solved in the coming theme update. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The “Current page was not created by TD Composer” message or the status of those custom fields will not cause any problems.

Thanks

You are using Flex Blocks which, apparently, can override settings from Theme Panel.

Categories on Flex Blocks can be disabled in TD Composer, on Layout tab of selected element.

So, recently I switched from WPBakery composer to TD Composer. All was fine on a test installation, but now that it’s active on the main site TD Composer doesn’t confirm that changes are saved. It does save changes, but does not confirm it, just keeps spinning. Now that’s not a life-or-death issue, just thought that I would mention it. Memory allocations are well over the requirements so I don’t think that’s a problem.

Also, I transferred the new homepage by copy-pasting shortcodes from the test installation to the live one. The first time I brought up TD Composer it told me that “current page was not created by TD Composer”, but only then – there were no warnings later on.

I noticed that the page has two custom fields added. The first one is “tdc_content” and it appears to be a copy of the content. The second one is “tdc_dirty_content” and that says 0. Is that normal behavior?

Salutare,
Situatie: http://prodambovita.ro/
VPS 2Gb ram, php7.1 memory limit 256 si Serve static files with Lighttpd
Instalare noua de wp + adaugat 50 articole

Install Newspaper 9.2.2 fara alte plugin-uri (decat td-composer, td-social-counter, td-amp)
Dupa instalare si activare tema, serverul arata ca are aproape tot RAM-ul folosit si MysQl se restarta des.

Ce am facut:
1. configurat conform recomandarilor (forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/) – nici o diferenta

Multumesc !

Cannot get TD Composer to save the embedded code from Mailchimp

The templates API server responded with a fatal error. Can load an element but no template. Also had to deactivate the Mobile theme as TD Composer would not save changes. This problem started this afternoon.
