That element is responsive, but you want to have an image with a height and width fixed, so if you want you can add with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/vpTod4Pb an element where you can set the height and width like this https://we.tl/t-jrGxfNkvMR
With tagDiv Composer, you can create the sidebar => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU the sidebar created in the widget is an “outdated” method.

Server error (5xx) on multiple URLs after implementation of Newspaper X theme - topic

Hi Newspaper X Support team,

This is to update you that I have installed the Newspaper theme on 16th/17th May 2021, on my website – https://discovervibe.blog/. Since then after an initial hike in traffic, it gradually slowed down, then I checked in Google Search Console, and in coverage, it is showing 9 URL’s with Server error (5xx), as per screenshot – http://prntscr.com/13mh3bk

I have check the topic on Forum, but not found the relevant content.

I even tried to chmod entire wp-content directory and its ALL subdirectories to 777 but still the error. Can anyone please help me sort this issue out???

Hi,
For example, for all elements that are set in the sidebar, you can use this custom css:
body .td-ss-main-sidebar .block-title span { background-color: #fe123e; color: #ffffff; }
Or you can add on those elements an extra class -> https://i.imgur.com/8qcuC0I.png also this can be done with tagDiv Composer, too -> https://i.imgur.com/GbWwqF3.png
Also you can use our guide from here to inspect the theme classes.
Or if you remove the body class -> https://i.imgur.com/dGFk7xQ.png then all elements that has an option for color will apply.

Theme Panel Non-Functional - topic

I’m upgrading our site from version 9.8 to 10.4. However I can’t complete the job due to the same several errors cropping up. Our site passes all the requirements on the list, and I’ve turned off all non TD plugins when I do the procedure.

It swaps over to the new theme fine, adds your plugins fine, and it all seems to be working until I try the theme panel page. That page loads, but if I click on any item on the page it does nothing aside from adding a hashtag to the end of the URL on the first click – it’s essentially non-functional and I can’t access any pages within it.

Before Tagdiv Composer is installed I’m getting multiple ‘TypeError: Undefined in not a function’ errors referring to o.widget, P.widget, r.widget, etc. in various min.js files like mouse, slider, iris, etc.

After it’s installed I’m getting this error from the /wp-admin/load-scripts.php file:

“jQuery.Deferred exception: jQuery( “#td-social-place-holder” ).sortable is not a function. (In ‘jQuery( “#td-social-place-holder” ).sortable{{ axis: ‘y’ }}’,’jQuery ( “#td-social-place-holder” ).sortable’ is undefined) (2)” and then it lists load-scripts.php and admin.php with green ‘f’ symbols next to them.

It feels like mismatched code. That ‘load-scripts.php’ error in particular stands out because it refers to the problem happening at 2:31585 in the file, but the file is only 1,700 or so characters long. Any suggestions?

My mobile preview on composer looks different when I check my mobile website live. The preview on TD composer is the right one. I checked of the Mobile plugin made the difference, but when deactivated still the same difference appeared.

Hi,
Most of Newsmag pre build demos have assigned a custom class on the body -> https://i.imgur.com/tpUkMHd.png and using that class are assigned some extra css, for example -> https://i.imgur.com/LkP5a5u.png -> https://i.imgur.com/BcNKHE3.png so if you want to keep the design you need to use a css to change the colors, for example -> https://i.imgur.com/F8j0JPr.png
.td-scandal .td-grid-style-2 .td-big-grid-meta { background: green!important; } .td-scandal .td-scandal-big-grid .td-grid-style-2 .td-big-grid-meta a{ color: white; }
Or you can remove the extra class and the settings from theme panel and tagDiv Composer
will apply.

How do I float featured images using pro templates and TD Composer? - topic

We’ve finally updated our site to get rid of the standard plugin. Yay!

But now we have a slight problem. We used to have a template with the Standard Pack that made the featured image float-left at the start of the post content. I cannot find a way to to that with TD Composer using the included featured image elements. I did figure out how to put a featured image in the background and float type over it, that is not what I am trying to do. I want the featured image to be at the top left and then have the post content wrap around it.

Hello,

This morning the site worked fine. I tried saving on the front page using the TagDiv composer and it gave me an error. Now I am unable to edit the elements, move anything around, the front page is broken. I keep getting this error message:
getSourceCol Error: The column model id not in data! Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

I’m at laudlinx.com – a very simple news site, the bottom portion is also broken – all happened after attempting to save. Apparently my host, Bluehost, found an error with the TD plugin in the log. Please advise as this site is continuously updated throughout the day.

Hello, I tried disabling all non mandatory plugins and set php.ini configuration as described in the post you linked. At the moment only TagDiv plugins are active, but the issue still persists.
Console shows the following error:

404-error problem when I try open different pages - topic

Hello,

I have several pages on Internetfoto.se that give Error message “Error 404 could not find the page”
It is also not possible to edit them in composer. I have tried get back to earlier version but it did not work.

I have also disabled various plugins without it resolving. Among other things, I turned off the WP-Bakery plugin, which I have one page that I previously created and which actually gets the only page that works in addition to the Start Home page, which also works but is created with TD-Composer.

This is very strange. Because I have other websites on the same server that work with Newspaper 10.4 and find all pagese. Only Internetfoto.se does not.

This is what I have:

WP 5.7.2
Newspaper 10.4
Php 7.4.16

Any idea on something that can fix the problem?

No, it’s just a propper CMS for Newspaper that offer this.

I’m asking if this is something that can be added to Td composer or something. It will make it easier to update content on the page for bissy newspapers. Also it will make better support for multi html titles so you can use proper and stable font size like rem that will dynamically adapt to every screen sizes.

To have something similar you need to use vh and vw for mobile to get a smood font resizing. Unfortunately with those it will not be very smood for everyone.

You can remove that section like in this video => https://we.tl/t-Sjp0TFYtdw, edit with tagDiv Composer, select the row and with right-click you can delete it.

Hello, @lcsrn,

If you want only to hide the post title, then if you use a Single Post Template from Cloud Library, you can delete the title of the post edit with tagDiv Composer and with right-click you can delete it => https://www.screencast.com/t/pQaeyeBayQ
If you use Standard Post Template, then you need to use a custom code CSS =>
.td-post-title { display:none!important; }

This code needs to be set in Theme Panel> Custom code> Custom CSS.

Facebook Featured Video not load (solution) - topic

Hello, I have had problems with facebook videos for quite some time, but I finally found the problem.

When you put a facebook video in “Featured Video”, sometimes it wouldn’t load. This problem used to go away on its own, but then it would reappear again.

The problem is that “Newspaper Theme” does not use your own Facebook App ID (the one you configure in the oEmbed Plus plugin for example). It turns out that it uses one in common among all Newspaper installations.
Therefore, if that App had any inconvenience, as at this very moment, all the Newspaper installations will fail.
Next I show you a query result to the Facebook API with the credentials that Newspaper uses.

The problem is that the credentials are hardcoded in the TD Composer plugin code, in the file: /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_video_support.php
In the following image I show the code:

I solved it by editing the plugin directly on the server and replacing the credentials with those of my own Facebook App.

But the best solution is to be able to add these own credentials directly from the Newspaper configuration.

Please let me know if you need any more information to definitively solve this problem.

The files are existing, but those ere moved in a theme plugins, the new path it is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/header/header-style-8.php

Having issue with high loading time from last 2 days. - topic

I’m facing high loading time in website and wp-admin with this theme. This issue is coming from last 2 days. Everything is working fine before that. Now, I’ve only 2 plugins activated with the theme. td_composer and td_standard_pack. Still getting too much time to load. I would like to know is there any update from your end that creating high count process on server? Theme and every plugin is up to date. Please help me with this issue.
