Install via WordPress -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
Install via FTP -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Also, the install/update a plugin please check this article https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-how-to-update-a-plugin/
Thank you!
Hello!
We recommend a full backup before any update. Normally, all the changes are not lost.
Also, I recommend to update plugins and the theme via file transfer, so that you don’t face any error: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
I’m a new user. I installed the theme properly, and chose 1 pre-made website, which is “Pulses Pro”. I selected the option “Design only”. I made some changes to the template, such as some filter rules of some blocks in the homepage, as well as some similar changes in category template.
Now I realized the the Newspaper theme has an updated version.
If I now choose to update, will my changes be lost?
If so, how can I update properly so as all my custom changes to the templates of Pulses Pro can be kept?

I just updated from 10 to 11 and the site is now broken, blocks are not showing up, its just showing the tagdiv code. Setting for some of the blocks were lost. The header went back to just text instead of the logo and ad placement.
I always made an background for the header of my site with my logo adres etc.
After the update i can’t see my old header background and also the possibility to change it back is gone.
Can You help me?
Greetings,
Youri Noteborn

Hi there Bettina, thank you for the feedback. I have downloaded and installed the proposed AMP fix in https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-with-amp-update/ however I can’t activate the TagDiv Mobile Theme without getting the following error:
Notice: amp_has_paired_endpoint was called incorrectly. Function called while AMP is disabled via amp_is_enabled filter. The service ID “paired_routing” is not recognized and cannot be retrieved. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 2.1.1.) in /home2/adepton/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5313
So I let it deactivated. I have also updated to Newspaper Version: 11.2 and still doesn’t work.
Appreciate if you have a fix for this issue plesae.
Thanks,
After I updated my newspaper theme yesterday, I wasn’t able to access my Admin login page…i had to reset my 1 day old backup to get back.

There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
Also, I am facing a problem since the start, wanted to write but couldn’t..

Please help……
Hi,
We’re facing a very weird issue where the important required plugins get disabled when we install Theme Updates.
We’re using Easy Updates manager for automatic updates, is that is causing the issue?
Apart from the plugins getting disabled, theme purchase code and logo, etc is also getting removed.
Let me know how this can be resolved.
We totally agree! Except the custom css that we wrote no longer works because your developers did some backend changes.
The custom code we had was:
.td_woo_product_module a.button {
float: right !important;
margin-top: -50px !important;
clear: right;
}
When we open up the page in google chrome and use the developer tools we can make changes right then and there to make modifications to the css. Nothing is working for us. We just need to at least to know what you guys did this time with the new updates that’s not making these custom css changes not work.
Thank you!
Fixed problem. Not sure why but it didn’t update automatically. then it did. All better now.
I am rather confused by this update to 11.2. I do not know where to find it on your support site, and when I look on my website in the theme section, it tells me I have 11.1, but when I downloaded the latest files from theme Forest which supposedly are 11.2, and I tried to install, my website dashboar told me that 11.2 is already installed. Yet it’s not shown, only 11.1 is. Very confusing.. ???
And where do I get the opt in page builder? That is not shown as a potential installable plug-in on my dashboard. So how do I get it?
Grateful for your answers to these questions ASAP. I am very interested in the opt in page builder and would like to start using it as soon as possible.
Thank you
Peter
Hi,
The tagdiv composer button appears however when I click it to edit I receive this error
“Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0”.
I’ve disable some plugins but it still doesn’t work. Please help. I’d be happy to email my info to ensure everything is installed correctly on my end.
Thank you!
Lindsey
Hi @Amit, thank you for letting us know about the problem with Single Post Bg Featured Image and CSS Analyzer, we informed our developers about and and there will a theme update for bugs soon.
Have a nice weekend!
Hello,
Please make sure you have the latest version of the theme, v11.2, if you need to make the update I recommend that you update the theme on a staging website and please make a full backup to all files and the database, in case something goes wrong. => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAJXrSI-dDA, clear all cache and see the results.
Also, please make sure all plugins which you use to be compatible with the latest version of WordPress, v5.8.
Thank you!
Update, I just fixed it. Just needed to reselect the correct menu in the panel. Messy update slow support is not happy about to be honest.
Hey, I managed to solve the same problem that appeared after the 11.2 update.
So as my website was broken, I rolled back to Yesterday’s backup. But it didn’t seem to do it, as my header was still messed up and some ads as well as widgets didn’t work properly. From there I updated from 11.1 to 11.2 once again, made sure required plugins were installed, but it still didn’t work.
Here is the solution I found based on tagDiv’s support answers : when you go to WordPress>Appearance>InstallPlugins (sorry if these aren’t the right terms, my wordpress is in French), you should find that the Standard Pack is either marked uninstalled or deactivated. There I first had to activate it (didn’t work, saying something along the line “not compatible with 11.2…”), then I was able to reinstall it, and finally I could activate it. And it worked.
Please let me know if it worked for you.
Honestly I feel like tagDiv didn’t manage this update that well as it clearly went wrong for a lot of users, and the team’s answers are generic and hard to apply.
