Hello Every one,
I can not update the “WPBakery Page Builder” plugin. I think this plugin comes with the theme. The theme version used in my site is “9.8”. When I am trying to update the plugin it shows the WPBakery Page Builder login page. Please suggest the solution.
Hello !
At the moment for the mobile viewport you can find the new cloud library templates. https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
We are working on a documentation as we speak and it should be available soon.
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-themes-cloud-library-v10-3-7-update/
Thank you !
Hi Mr. @Calin ,
Currently, our problem # 1 and # 3 continues. I am talking to your teammates by e-mail. Thank you very much for your answers.
#2 I solved my # 2 problem myself. By searching like this, in Function.php, originating from your theme <? and <?php was caused by code scripts like php creating gaps. I deleted these blanks. Then I did save. When I refreshed the page, it got better, sir. So my sitemap_index.xml page is active.
#3 For our problem number 3; Yes. After transferring the files with FTP, I updated the Theme manually for the second time. But again Warning: Undefined directory: /home/teknobi6/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_instagram_access_tk.php line there was an “expires_in_ts” problem sir.
#4 I solved my problem number 4 myself. I added inline text sir.

Hello !
These problems appear when you are using an old theme version and the last version of WordPress, these are not compatible https://i.imgur.com/1fwoN6e.png, one solution that can work is to use jQuery Migrate Helper plugin and the second solution is to make a full back and update the theme to Newspaper v10.3.7 -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ also make sure that all theme plugins are enable, if not you’ll have only shortocdes on your website.
Let us know the result !
Thank you!
Hi,
Is possible that during the update that file was not copied properly, please try to reinstall the theme and theme updating using method B from our guide (Update the theme via FTP) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ in this way all files should be copy right, after that please update and install theme plugins from Newsmag > welcome section or from Newsmag > plugins.
Let me know the results!
Hi BrookelinePublishingHouseInc-online, to fix this problem you’ll need to update the theme to last version and this time you’ll need to do it manually, but first please make a full backup to your website and database, and only after that update the theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ please use method B ( Update the theme via FTP) after the theme is update, make sure that you update the theme plugins too and check to see if there are still some problems with tagDiv Composer.
Also the above steps with deleting tagDiv Composer and reinstall it is working only if you already have the last theme version, v4.9.5 only this version is compatible with WordPress v5.5 and v5.5.1
Let me know the results!
Hello !
I would start by reinstalling the tagDiv Composer plugin. This will automatically update it to the latest version. After this you will have to clear your cache.
If this does not work the next step is checking for plugin conflicts, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know if this methods worked on you.
Thank you !
I tried all solutions but it won’t work then i found “jQuery Migrate Helper” after installing i got it working. Now its showing error either theme or plugin are not updated in my case theme and plugins are updated. All deprecated file blog to td-composer kindly help me to fix my issue permanently.
In the time I bought newspaper and the latest update…the instagram social counter was not working and the count had to be done manually.
Instagram counter was not working before, NOW IT WORKS.
Facebook & Youtube were working, now they do not work.
Yes I know I can do it manually. Is there a way to fix things?
We purchased your theme yesterday and were very excited to get started, but it doesn’t seem to work. When we click the “install / activate plugins” button on the main page, each of the four plugins cycles through Updating > verifying > failed.
Here is a picture that shows the problem.
As you can see, it doesn’t even give us a useful error message to help us fix the issue. We’ve tried manually updating the plugins too, and it doesn’t fix the issue.
This is extremely frustrating and we are on a time crunch, so we need someone to get back to us ASAP. Thank you.
Hello,
I’ve tried it according to the instructions, I’ve updated the theme, plugins, but the problem is not resolved.
Thank you
OK, so now the Newspaper theme is telling me to activate my purchase code. This is following an automatic theme update, I think.
I’ve followed the instructions to find my Envato code but the website it directs me to says I don’t have any downloads. Where can I find my license code?
Thanks, Calin. I’ve updated the theme via Theme Panel, manually. I will try your solution and give you a feedback.
Hi lorenzopietra1997, the problem is that you are using an old version of theme that is not compatible with WP 5.5.1, our theme compatibility with this WordPress version was added only in Newspaper v10.3.6.1 -> https://i.imgur.com/5678Xk7.png -> https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
1. Now you have some options: you can downgrade the WordPress version under 5.5
2. You can update the theme to last version, Newspaper v10.3.7 for this please make a full backup to your website and use method B from our guide -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
3. You can try a plugin, in some cases this can help, but this will not fix the real problem it will only avoid it. The plugin is Enable jQuery Migrate Helper
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
In previous updates to Newspaper, the customizations I made to the theme were deleted. I see the 10.3.7 is now available, but I am concerned that updating will again wipe out my customizations to the theme.
Can you confirm that the 10.3.7 update won’t delete my customizations?
Thank you!
Hi goudafm,
If you are using Newspaper v10.3.7 then you can achieve what you need using the new option for mobile pages -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ in this way you can adjust the mobile layout in the way you want, also you can display a different content if you want and all these can be done using tagDiv Composer, using this method you don’t affect the desktop version.
Also I think that is possible to use a custom css only for mobile, if you want I can take a look to see if I can make a code for this, just provide me a link to your website.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi teknobilimadami,
We get your emails and our team from email will try to find the problem and fix it, most probably this will be today or tomorrow, unfortunately sometimes the problem is complicate and it can not be solved very fast and is take one-two days.
1. We have a guide for the steps that you can try when tagDiv Composer is not working -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
2. Also I see that your sitemap is look now like this -> https://i.imgur.com/ByyJ4Se.png
3. This problem “Notice: Undefined index: expires_in_ts in /home/teknobi6/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_instagram_access_tk.php on line 37” can appear if some files were not updated correctly when the theme was updating. To be sure that this is not the problem, please reinstall the theme, this time please using manual update as in our guide -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ also make sure that the theme requirements are all set as in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
4. As I can see now the mobile and desktop version display nice the links from footer -> -> https://i.imgur.com/NJQlHNb.png also on post for mobile theme plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/cNOiir4.png
Hope that some of my above advice can help you!
Thank you!
Hi indkg1286s, is possible when the theme and theme plugin were installed to be some files that were not installed correctly, to make sure that this is not the case, please delete the theme and theme plugins and install it manually (via cPanel/FTP) using option B from our guide -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ after that update the theme plugins and activate them.
Let me know the results!
Hi,
on my staging site I tried to update to 4.9.5 but I get this issue:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘td_util’ not found in (…)
wp-content/themes/Newsmag/functions.php on line 52
Do you have any idea what’s going wrong?
Thank you and best regards!
Update:
I did what you’ve suggested but upon deleting tagDiv to reinstall it, it now cannnot update at all, showing the error:
“The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading installation package from https://islandsocialtrends.com/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/plugins/td-composer.zip…
Download failed. Forbidden”
PLEASE FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY, OR SEND A COPY OF THE OLD PLUGIN FOR NOW.
This suggestion has completely obliterated the frontend!!
Help!!
Hi,
The problem when you are using the mobile theme can be that the Cloudflare ‘APO’ do not understand that you use two themes, one for desktop and one for mobile, therefore it is delivering the last cache that was made. Using ‘WP Super Cache’ with the settings from this guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ you can use an option for mobile devices -> https://i.imgur.com/6eZocyn.png in this way the cache plugin will know if you are using the mobile or desktop and will provide the proper cache. Also we have a guide for CDN here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Now is possible that Cloudflare ‘APO’ to do not have such an option, then an alternative solution only for mobile is to use the new option to create mobile pages and mobile templates with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/t4rw8Ib.png in this way you can set only the content you want to display on mobile and there should be no problems with Cloudflare APO. You can check some more details about this new option in our guide from here -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Hope this will help you!
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi Calin! Boy, I showed up to the topic I almost posted about!
I was hired to make changes to the frontend and solve editing issues, but I have the exact same problem by going into developer mode and noticed the JQuery is a little deprecated, so I enabled Migrate Helper and started to work on fixes. I also found out despite any of that, the Theme itself is meant to automatically update and is trapped in v4.5 and not v4.9.5, so it’s missed a few runs.
I also deleted tagDiv and reinstalled it, it’s stuck in the same infinite load… now I am here!
How do I bring our theme to the future?
Hi eladoquintimes,
Make sure that all theme plugins are updated and activate -> https://i.imgur.com/0GKzPjd.png also another thing that it can be done is to set a revision of homepage -> https://www.templatemonster.com/help/wordpress-how-to-revert-the-last-changes-made-in-postspages-revisions-management.html
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi Cristian Hatis, this problem appear when you updated the theme to Newspaper v10.3.7 ? if yes and you want, we can take a look, but first please make a full backup to your website and database and try on sub-domain/localhost/staging and try to make the update manual as in our guide from here -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
If there is still a problem, let us know!
Hello !
1. As you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/WkqOj2R0x2nE in the cloud library you will find only the homepage for the Magazine Pro demo. The optimal image size which we recommend is 800×600 or HD – 1920x1080px.
2. That is a new feature implemented in the Newspaper Theme which allows you to create custom templates like the ones from desktop but custom made for your mobile viewport.
Find out more about it here:https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Thank you !
