Unfortunately, I cannot identify where exactly are placed the user icon. Please notice that all of these changes are not covered by our support and we cannot do your custom work, sorry! You should do it yourself because it represents additional customizations. Also, I noticed that you are using some untested plugins, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/XPrln6ntlM9 Notice that all of these can interact with the theme core and break the theme functionality. So, if you want to bring best results in theme, you should disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Your theme is fully customized and some functionality can be damaged by your untested plugins used by you and we cannot provide support for untested plugins, sorry!

We use the wordpress default roles and capabilities for users – https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities So an editor for example should have access to other settings.
I suggest to disable all your plugins except Visual Composer and check again, may a plugin cause this issue.

2. Please switch to a wordpress default theme and see how it goes. It is the same behavior, the theme doesn’t alter the plugin’s option in this regard. The user see the Visual Composer option but it doesn’t have any options if he doesn’t have the specific capabilities – https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
3. Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have a frontend interface to allow users to write articles. The theme uses wordpress functionality – https://codex.wordpress.org/Writing_Posts

Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset CDN files if you use it. Also, remove any custom code you may have added to the logo. You will have to check any image customization and compression to see if image quality is not affected by it. Also, remove any image features of jetpack such as the photon. Try to bring the theme as close to default as possible because our theme does not make images blurry or increase their size. There is something on your end affecting the logo and you need to identify what it is.

I have checked your website and I saw that you are using Politics demo and you want to have the style use in Wedding demo, right? please notice that each demo has own style created by our web designer and it is not a simple task to replicate the similar style for another demo, sorry! This task involves custom work and we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry!

We have tested the theme with the beta version and we did not found any issues and also now we use wordpress 4.7 on our local install. Also we did not received any reports in this regard so the theme should work properly with wordpress 4.7.
However it is always recommended to make a full backup before any update – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
Newspaper 7.5 contains version 4.12.1 of Visual Composer. In the next theme version will will provide the latest version of Visual Composer available on the market and you will be able to update it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
We plan to release an update. most probably next week.

Also please try to disable your plugins except Visual Composer and check how it goes. Most probably you have installed a plugin recently which cause these issues. Try to use less plugins.

To improve your server response time you can try to reduce the number of queries (fewer plugins, fewer blocks on page, reduce the elements which use ajax requests/pagination like mega menus/load more/infinite load). To improve the loading speed look the MySQL query cache: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/query-cache.html we also use it on our demo.

Did you added the shortcodes to the Mobile Theme Editor? Please note that the Mobile Theme doesn’t render the tagdiv and/or Visual Composer shortcodes. So if you want to have the same content like on desktop please disable the Mobile Theme plugin.
If you want to use the Mobile Theme plugin and you understood how it works – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ please make sure that you use the latest theme version 7.5 and you update also the plugin.

The buttons are created based on Visual Composer buttons and only those colors are available.
To have a custom color you could use custom css. For example you add the button’s shortcode in your post – http://screencast.com/t/anhIeS86eTkt and then you use this custom css to add your own background and text colors – http://screencast.com/t/kwSPKbjf5Eu

I guess that your problem with Visual Composer regarding on unavailability of text editor button is not affected by system status. I suppose that rather is a WordPress issue related. Notice that the theme have only the .htaccess and this file should have to respect the default structure of it, as you can see in our documentation here -> http://screencast.com/t/e38Irdz8ZJd This is the standard structure of this file.
Regarding on Suhosin, please keep in mind that this is just a server module and you should try reading all documentation of your host because this setting is related to your server. In our case, you must ignore this message as the Visual Composer does not require activation when it’s provided in the theme package. Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme and also, the latest version of Visual Composer which comes bundled with the packet and which is Visual Composer 4.12.1. Keep in mind that the Visual Composer come bundled with the theme packet and this plugin is fully tested with the theme and until now, we do not have any bad reports regarding on its functionality with the theme.
