Please check this without any plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and re-save your permalinks. Maybe the permalinks are affected by a plugin that you use.
Also please check if you have added a custom code to your page, that may add the numbers to the links. For example it could be an ad code, if you use different then adsense.

You have this issue because you use Visual Composer on posts page, unfortunately the tagdiv gallery was not designed for to be used in a text block. Please only use the visual composer version that comes with the theme. Our latest update 6.5.1 contains the latest version of visual composer, but you have to install it from the theme panel not the plugins section http://screencast.com/t/eOzctAU763lY
Please remove other versions ov visual composer you might have installed and install the one from the panel.

2. Unfortunately the block title style 1 that you used in previous version doesn’t exist anymore in version 6 and you have to edit each homepage blocks(or your widgets) and change the background color – http://screencast.com/t/7qRvDzjc

Newspaper 6 is a whole new theme that is released for free for all of our existing customers so an update from 4 to 6 may cause the same issues as switching to another theme (but we did try to maintain compatibility where ever possible). We tried to find the best way for the transition(the script), but some issues may appear. We are very sorry for all the problems that the update caused.

For the contact form you will need the plugin because the theme has no forms implemented.

You can try to disable ajax view count: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ajax-view-count/
If this doesn’t work, please make sure that you use the latest theme version and check this only with Visual Composer active, disable all other plugins and clear cache, maybe the issue is caused by a plugin and refresh an article and see if the view counter increments.
If you want you can remove it with this custom CSS:
.single .td-post-views {
display: none;
}

Hi,

Please make sure you update the theme properly via ftp, make sure all the files were uploaded. Then clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN and also disable all the plugins except of Visual Composer and check if you still have this issue. Also disable any css/js minification.
The latest version of Visual Composer was tested with the theme and we did not found any issues.

You have to use the Visual Composer provided with the theme version you have on your site. The new version 4.7.4 is tested with the latest version of the theme, so if you want to use it please update to the Newspaper 6.5.1.
If you update to version 6 – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ please also update the child theme, you can find it in the /code folder from theme files that you download from themeforest.

2. Try to re-save the permalinks from Settings > Permalinks and also disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache. Maybe it is caused by a plugin that you use. Do you use a redirect plugin?

The latest version of visual composer was not tested with version 4 of our theme (it did not exist back then). If you want to use the latest version of visual composer, you have to update your theme to the latest version (6.5.1) as well. And only install the visual composer plugin that comes with the theme.
With newspaper 4 please use the plugin version that comes with your theme files.

1) Make sure you check all these options in the panel: http://screencast.com/t/n6nQwEkug and regenerate your thumbails using ‘force regenerate’ plugin. You can also use a thumbnail upscale plugin if your images are too small.
You can set the block to display the latest posts: http://screencast.com/t/uRGQJziZ and set a post limit of 20: http://screencast.com/t/cYMimmmkfu

2) You can create your page in visual composer without a sidebar and set the layout to a 2/3 + 1/3 and add your visual composer elements do the right side of the page: http://screencast.com/t/GkYeBHGUTk including an image element

The plugin you installed is not needed as the theme already handles image thumbnails. The plugin overrides this option and may cause a conflict. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, and regenerate you thumbs https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/.

Hi,

Using Visual Composer pagebuilder, you can create/add buttons only for page content.
If you want to add it next to the header ad, you will have to edit the code:

So you cannot achieve this only if you alter the code and use the shortcode directly there and some css for positioning.

Please make sure you use the latest version of the theme and the latest version of the social counter

If you already use the latest version, please make sure the correct social id is typed in the social counter settings: http://screencast.com/t/PTNnG6afCxI
You can also try to insert a different ID to see if followers are pulled. (for example ‘cocacola’)
Your Facebook and Twitter pages need to be public. If they are not, the plugin won’t be able to access your followers.
If all these conditions are met, you can try one more thing. Disable all your plugins except visual composer and see if it’s not a conflicting plugin that causes the issue.
