Hi,
The sidebar seems to be displayed on top of the content on mobile, which is very unusual. I believe something is interfering with the theme javascript.
I believe you are using the Litespeed plugin, I know it has optimization settings for the javascript, could you make a quick test and deactivate the plugin then check if the issue is solved? If it is solved, it could mean a setting from the optimization panel is causing the problem. But if it is not solved, something else is causing it.
I could take a closer look at this directly, in this case I will need admin login for the website. You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide them there, also include a link to this topic in the email.
The mobile theme is an optional plugin, use it only if you want to. It will affect the posts, meaning their template. The mobile theme has a dedicated template for them. You don’t have to create the posts twice, desktop and mobile. That is the case only for pages.
Let me know.
Thank you!
I wish to use WP-Rocket to speed up the website. They have advised that WP-Supercache will conflict with it and should be uninstalled. How essential is WP-Supercache for the Newpaper Theme. Will it have any repurcussions if I uninstall WP-Supercache.
Good Morning,
I think I need some details about how your CSS in combination with Cloud Library works.
My site speed is overall pretty good and I have a clean site without too much going on. However, the source code of the page reveals almost 6000 lines of code and optimization pages are recommending to reduce the filesize – which I understand.
Now, I know that my simple header, footer, post template and content do not require 6000 lines of code or all that CSS in there. How can I get rid of it? How do we actually only use and load what is relevant and needed? The CSS analyzer tool would not removed the unused CSS correct? It just regroups the code and moves it to the end as far as I understand.
Any details that could help? There are just too many references in CSS which probably aren’t even used on the whole website. I just want to make sure that my pages only contain CSS which the page is using, I hope that makes sense.
Thank you.
The CPU is a delicate problem, deepens on the resources that the website needs and the resources that your host it is providing for CPU, here is a topic where are some working tips: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
Hello!
The tagdiv Composer is the main plugin for this theme and it has a lot of customizations. For example, if you have a lot of elements on a page, then it could load a little bit slower. Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
Please check the tutorials from those platforms gt metrix and Google Pagespeed Insights and I’m sure you can increase the page speed.
Please note that the page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Also, check this useful guide: https://www.xtechkr.com/optimize-newspaper-theme/

Hi,
It depends on what you mean by a fully compatible cache plugin. If you are referring to the settings that need to be used to work correctly with the theme, then both of the above plugins can be used, for WP Super cache we have a guide, and for WP Rocket we can give you a guide that works.
Now the problem is that depending on how each website is created, what elements it contains and what resources it still has, some webmasters need help to get a better speed for the mobile version. So our theme besides the responsive version offers me 2 more options.
Mobile page templates, these are mobile templates that can be made for pages and cloud templates with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Uz85flw.png -> https://i.imgur.com/LR03SYa.png
Mobile theme plugin, is a plugin that uses a simple layout and elements without builders, as a consequence the pages must be rebuilt using mobile editor or you can use the responsive version.
Here is a video for how to use those 2 mobile versions -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!

I see.
Can you please provide a link to your website to inspect the situation and see what can be done to improved the pagespeed on mobile.
Thank you!
Hi,
What you can do to get a better pagespeed is to remove google fonts -> https://i.imgur.com/gP28V6X.png and use custom fonts, remove the infinite loading from posts, set for images the width and height.

But right now im using WP super Cache and my notes in google page speed decreased so much. I have litespeed serve, so before i was using litespeed cache as my caching plugin, and my notes it was high. After i change to WP Super Cache, my notes is red, this only happens in the mobile version, the desktop version maintain with good notes, green notes.
whats this problem can be, i followed a tutorial of tagdiv and i did the due recommendations to use WP Super Cache https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ but im not receiving good note in the mobile version of my website, so what this can be?
Hello Guys,
I’m writing this down because we have some serious issues with uploading images to our website.
I think it’s good to explain the situation as good as possible.
We have a really big site containing for about 40.000+ images. Since a couple of weeks ago we’ve ran into some issues with the disk space since we didn’t used a CDN for the images. After some investigation we decided to buy the plugin ‘WP Offload Media’, which uploads existing images to Amazon S3, as well as new uploaded images.
It took a while to upload all those images but fortunately this solved the disk space issues. However, since we are using this particular plugin, we are running into some serious issues. Even at a small sized image (50kB) it takes about 30+ seconds to upload. The first thing we did is contacted the plugin developer of WP Offload Media. They did some trial and error and recorded a screen where you can see the testing:
Their feedback below:
After a lot of trial and error, I believe I have now found the plugins that is causing the slow upload speed.
I'm not sure why, but if you deactivate them, the upload speed becomes less then 10s -
Kindly see the following video for comparison -
[video src="https://p-d0FK22zG.t2.n0.cdn.getcloudapp.com/items/6quZvxvA/5f33d57f-9997-4889-a141-01f241137685.mp4" /]
The plugins in questions are -
SportsPress
SportsPress voor Voetbal
tagDiv Cloud Library
tagDiv Composer
tagDiv Standard Pack
If all of these 5 plugins are deactivated, the upload speed is less than 10s.
If you enable SportsPress, it will just to 20s.
and if you also enable tagDiv, it will jump to 30s.
Unfortunately, since these are third-party plugins, what we can only advice is to deactivate them during an upload.
We really would appreciate if you guys could look into this big issue for us since it’s not possible to work with.
Looking forward to your reply and thanks in advance!
Jordy

Hello @svphotography!
I’m sorry to hear about this. Please note that every page speed needs some improvement and it is not enough to install a plugin only because there are many factors which can affect your page speed quality.
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.

no speed up my website I asked for a refund
Hi I just purchased the Newspaper theme and have started to use the TD Composer to build my templates. So far everything was going well up until I started to build the home page.
I built a portion of the home page, only to find that whatever I put onto the home page also appears on every other page on the website. Furthermore, if I try to edit another page such as “About” or “Contact Me” using the TD Composer then it pre-loads the content that I put on the home page, onto those pages too instead of giving me a blank canvas to work with.
The home page content also appears on top of my categories pages and my singular post pages.
I deactivated TD Composer and Reactivated with no success. I have litespeed cache installed and have been clearing the database but no luck there either.
Here is a link to my site: https://www.muslimperspectives.com/

Hello!
Google refuses me to run ads to our Newspaper themed website https://positivenewsfoundation.org because our website is too slow.
I have already installed WP super cache, but how can I make the Newspaper theme lighter and loading faster and I have installed all plugins that come with the theme – which should I delete?
Kind regards,

Hello
I am finding it impossible to get the theme to run at an acceptable speed and performance metric.
I have two sites running at the moment. My original live site and the staging site
Live original http://www.techbusinessnews.com.au
Staging test site before moving to live https://www.techpressmedia.com/techbusinessnews/
These are both on the same very fast lightspeed cPanel server.
I have migrated my site data over to the test stage. So it is exactly the same site. Same plugins ect ect
My original site is highly optimised and I have applied all possible optimisations to the staging site
My big issue is un-cached pages.
My life site will load an un-cached page in less than 2 seconds.
The staging site will take up to 7 seconds to load an uncached page.
Strangely enough turning OFF lazyload actually increased performance.
I have plugins down to the bear minimum also
I have manually minified everything
I have optimised images as far as possible
I am using CDN – (But the big problem is dead slow uncached paged and I need to purge often)
I have also come across many bugs. For instance. Bu turning off lazyload this made my admin bar disappear and I had to force it back with this CSS
function admin_bar(){
if(is_user_logged_in()){
add_filter( ‘show_admin_bar’, ‘__return_true’ , 1000 );
}
}
add_action(‘init’, ‘admin_bar’ );
I have been optimising websites for many years heavily. This seems to be the first theme I have come across that loads non cached pages so slowly.
My current live site has constant 98 to 100 page speed and cached and non cached pages. The newspaper theme I cannot get over 60% is giving very poor page experience.
I have also used the CSS analyser on top
I have tested with both litespeed plugins and wp-cache and also using a combo of both for different functions.
I am also constantly having my server resources spike and max out causing 503s
I have done everything possible. No site speed here for non cached pages and also poor metrics
What am I missing with this theme?
