Hello mattemkadia,

Please notice that the main menu is set it separately from the category. As you can see in our documentation, the main menu is part of our header styles and it could be different for the whole website, according to header style used by you. For more information about our header styles, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/ So, if you want to have other colors for your main menu in the category page, you have to add them manually, using the custom CSS code.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello yachtsailingcharter,

Sorry for my misunderstanding. We recommend to disable all of them and then install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme to rule out the conflicting plugins. Also, for Newspaper 7 the plugins version are -> Social Counter 4.0, Visual Composer 4.11.2, WordPress 4.5.2.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello Kvr28,

Unfortunately, this behaviour happens only in Firefox browser. I have done a lot of investigations and Firefox seems to have some issues regarding transitions. We will look into the Mozilla issue on mobile as well. We saw that it does not handle the transition well.

Thank you for your understanding!

HELP - reply

Hello wawat,

Please keep in mind that all your panel settings (including Custom CSS code from your Custom Box) are loaded in your database. Also, if you have some additionals customizations through code in theme files, child theme, please notice that these will be overwritten by the new update of the theme and you will loose all your additional customizations. Usually, before doing an update, we recommend doing a backup to avoid losing the data. If you have directly done an update for the latest version of the theme, please notice that most likely you have lost all your customizations.

If is not what you mean, please provide more details.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello Marto,

I have done a lot of investigations and indeed, for Google Chrome Browsers not working the GPS for the mobile version. Also, I have tested on Firefox and Safari and seems to localize as expected. On the PC is not working because the computer do not have GPS and there is set it by default.
I have added this problem to our list of fixes and we will consider in future updates.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello fajrialhadi,

If you have the mobile theme plugin installed, when you access your Backend, the first editor refers to Mobile Editor, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/zAtWOmb4 and then when you scroll down on your page you will see the Visual Composer editor, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/MJhylybrzE7n So, if you will disable the mobile theme plugin, you will have only the Visual Composer editor. If you are using the cache plugin, please try to clear all your caches and check again the results. I suspect that it is most likely a caching issue.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello svharishtech,

Please notice that the mobile theme shows only the Big Grid, your desired text added by you from your backend (if you want this) and the latest articles. Please notice that the Big Grid will show you only the post from the Featured category, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/OYpBabWYV Unfortunately. Please notice that another method to filtrate the posts for your mobile theme does not exist at the moment.
For more information about mobile theme, please check the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you for your understanding!

For more information about our new mobile theme, please consult the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Also, for better results, please try to use the theme only with our tested plugins and without any untested plugin to rule out the conflicting plugins.

Hello yachtsailingcharter,

Yes, before you update your theme, you have to disable all your plugins, remove your old theme and install the new update only through FTP because this is the surest way in this case. For more information about theme updating, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ Also, you can check this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-i-manage-to-update-from-version-6-x-x-to-newspaper-7-0-without-a-problem/#post-111643

Hello Arafat,

I have noticed that the classes in this regard were changed in Newspaper 7 and you have to use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

The code is ->

border-left:1px solid #A8A2A2;
border-right:1px solid #A8A2A2;
}

The result -> http://screencast.com/t/YgWpwzfbBjDK

Hello sudhanshu15,

I suppose that you are referring to the left side, right here -> http://screencast.com/t/lEXiBMn82 Please notice that this behaviour comes from your untested plugins. I have checked your source page and I have notice that you are using a lot of untested plugins, including and WP Rocket plugin. Please try to disable it, because it seems to be a problematic one that causes a lot of unknown issues in theme. Also, try to switch to the main theme (now you are using the child theme), clear all your caches and test it again. The normal behaviour for your theme should not contain that background over your background image.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you for your message!

Hello MShayto9,

1)If you want to do automatically update, please notice that you have to use the Envato Toolkit. For more information about this regard, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-automatically-update-newspaper-theme/ Also, please notice that we recommend doing an update via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard.
2)Please notice that all your customizations from your panel (Custom CSS area box ->after your update, please re-save this from your panel) and panel settings will remain exactly the same because these were loaded in your database. Also, if you have another custom modifications through code, (for example in the child theme or theme files) all of these will be overwritten with the latest update. Usually, before updating, we recommend our customers to make a backup for all of the customizations because this is the safest way to not lose data.

Thanks.

First of all, thank you for your mini tutorial. Also, please notice that these types of plugins are not tested with our latest version and also, it was not tested nor with Newspaper 6.x.x, sorry!
