Unfortunately the category list can not display. I believe it can be done only manually (creating a menu list with them or create a list in with theme in column text element).

I believe that when you say “representative image” image you are referring to thumbs, right?
Unfortunately for this there is no option, you need to use a script to set that class on the image (the theme offers only the possibility to set the class on blocks -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

I just checked the mentioned website and the modules structure is different. The background image is used and on it are set individual links, in our theme the background image is inside the title link.
