Hi,

You can use any color you want in the code, that is just an example. Create your color in the same rgba format or use any color format you want. If you want to keep the current color format, try this color generator

Hide Post and Page Titles completely? - reply

1. If the page contains no page builder elements (blocks, grids etc) regardless of composer used, the page title will be displayed. The page title will appear if the page contains content added through the default MCE editor.
A solution would be to enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS when using default page template

.page-template-default .td-page-title{ display:none; }

2. You could target specific pages with the actual CSS code. So for example you would like to remove the page title on one specific page, with the code mentioned above

Menu and website are loading very slowly on Mobile - topic

Hello TagDiv Team,

My website is very slow on Mobile, some images are not loading. Users can’t access to the menu, when I click on it nothing is happening… I don’t understand why. Plus my Pages Insight scores are pretty high: 88 Mobile / 92 Desktop: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmybeautifuleurope.com%2F&tab=desktop . My GT Metrix score is high too.

I checked this page: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and I still can do some improvements from this page. But I don’t understand why before it was working good 🙁

Can you help me detect what is the issue on my website?

Search result excerpt length limit - reply

Hello,
he excerpt limit is set for particular modules, not particular pages. For example You use module 2 in the search results (the module used on the search can be changed here: https://www.screencast.com/t/jw3SgZc0bR) You can then set the excerpt length for module 2 in the excerpts section of the theme panel: https://www.screencast.com/t/4Qi2r4DiC
This will not only affect the search results, but everywhere else you use module 2 like categories or blocks that also use module 2.

Three Menus in header - reply

Hi,

We try our best to reply as soon as possible. Please take into consideration the support hours and time differences. Try to post the details in one instance, replying in your own topic will only delay the response. We answer from oldest to newest.
The theme has a top menu and a main header menu available, so there is an option to display two separate menus.
If you want something similar to that example, where there are multiple lines of menu items on above the other, you could try some header styles that display the top menu above or below the main menu (header style 5 or 12 maybe)

Hi all,
we would like to replace the Infinity Loop Animation with a custom .gif related on the corporate design.

Any ideas or thoughts how this could be done in the easiest / effective way?

Right now i am reading throw many java script lines to get an idea how this is solved right now – to replace the injection of the animation with my gif… but no clue where would be the best point for this.

Looking forward for any ideas!

I understand what you are trying to do. But the featured image is not included in the post content so it cannot be moved around, or positioned differently within the actual post content. You can see here for example how a post template structure looks

First of all, I’d like to thank tagdiv team for creating such a nice theme. My first issue is :
1:- Whatsapp link of my website is not working properly on phone. Please check my website’s whatsapp link on your mobile phone & then do something.
2:- I don’t know why my website’s home button always appears in top bar of chrome’s tab. It’s annoying me. I want my tagline to appear there. Due to this fault, search engine google also displays my home button with my website in stead of my tagline.
Please help me. I’d be thankful to you.

Though, I might have been a bit unclear on my needs. I want to move my featured image between the first and second paragraph (with no manual editing).

Perhaps the code from your linked example, Simion, could be modified to make that work?

Hi,

The shortcodes can be entered in text or HTML elements, that would be the only way. Save the page and then view it to see the results. The codes should not disappear, please provide some examples of the shortcodes you are using.

The ajax filter can be customized in terms of what categories will be displayed. You can enter category IDs here

Hi,

The paragraph padding adds a class to all the elements which you select to have such padding

Everything inside it, like paragraphs and headings will be be aligned accordingly.
You could manually apply this padding, depending on what you have in the post content, the padding has to be applied for each.
A code like this will affect all paragraphs and h3 in a post example

.td-post-content p, .td-post-content h3 { padding-left:4%; padding-right:4%; }

For a page it would be like this

.td-page-content p, .td-page-content h3 { padding-left:4%; padding-right:4%; }

You can modify the padding values as you wish, and experiment further with the codes. Then enter them in Theme panel->Custom CSS.

Render text in Module if a certain tag is assigned to a post. - topic

Hello,

I am looking to render some HTML code inside module blocks when a certain tag is assigned to a post.

I’ve gotten this snippet working inside loop-single-2.php by adding:

<?php if ( has_tag( 'promoted-content' ) ) : ?>
			<h3 class="promoted-txt">Promoted Content</h3>
		<?php endif; ?>

However, when I add this same snippet to td_module_2.php right under the <?php echo $this->get_title();?>, I get nothing outputted to the screen, even though the ‘promoted-content’ tag is assigned to that post.

How do I get the has_tag() condition to work on these td_module_X.php files? What is the correct syntax to trigger it to work?

See attached screenshots. The first shows the modules blocks I need to render the conditional HTML, and the second screenshot shows a very simple example of how I want it to look just so you know understand my goal.

Note: I am not asking you to help me with the HTML or CSS. I simply need the correct syntax for the has_tag( ‘promoted-content’ ) snippet that will trigger the HTML to output on the frontend.

Again … theme cannot fix your basic system setup stuff; you have to do that yourself, as with *all* WordPress themes and any website in general.

Using GTMetrix.com to test a post on your site will also give you specific examples of the things you can optimize with tips, if the speed guide I linked to above is no help. 🙂

I would also like to enable Gzip compression.

As the theme is marketed as a fast and easy to use theme without needing to know coding, I find tagDiv’s communication style a bit nerdy and technical. For example the guide says:

“The theme demo server is set like this:”

An amateur like me would ask, “set like this, where?” Is that a piece of code from the .htaccess file or what is it?

Anyway, I asked my hosting provider how to do it and they gave me links to different Gzip plugins.

Question: can you recommend some plugin for this use?

Feedback for future: please try to make the end product as easy (and good) as possible for the non-technical user – as it is marketed. It can’t be that you always hide behind the explanation that “optimizing site speed is for advanced users..” or “you need a developer”. On your theme sales page it says:

“Because everything is perfectly optimized for you!”
