Ok, let me show you an example:

I have the following categories with subcategories on my site:

Praias do Nordeste > Praias da Bahia > Praia de Maragojipe

1 category with 2 subcategories. I want to display on megamenu only first level of category (Praias da Bahia), but when I set my post until the last subcategory (level 3), it shows in megamenu bottom with the others categories:

I have tried to update the theme, but it has now become clear in other discussions in this forum that updating from version 4 to version 6 is not a straightforward thing (also because of our own optimizations that the update script cannot handle), so we will not be doing it in the near future.

But please clarify this: Is it not possible to have article (posts) list views without any sidebar *and* have a sidebar for individual articles (posts) using the current theme?

As mentioned, I want individual articles to have a(n ivisible) sidebar, exactly as here:

But I’d like (for example) this view

For some reason, tag lists can be shown without a sidebar, but article lists in category views cannot (more precisely, they can, but then the sidebar disappears from individual articles / posts too). If there is a way, please instruct. Thank you.

Yes, the problem is that if I act so that no sidebar is shown in post listings (which I want), it always gets also removed from individual posts (which I do not want).

A lot of stuff seems to be missing from our Category settings. For example, there is nothing above “Article display view” – please have a look here:

Thanks for your fast answer, but I think that you didn´t get the point: if I do like you said, the video will be seen in a new page that is still “inside” my site, so the site will be easily overloaded. So, in order to avoid this, I need that the video will be opened in a new page that doesn´t belong to the site (for example, if my video was taken from Youtube, I want that the video will be seen on the page of Youtube).

Can you help me again, please?…

This is an example code which will work with do_shortcode function:

The featured video don’t generate shortcode now and you will need a custom implementation to achieve that. Theme’s blocks have a predefined layout and changing it involve many customizations and tests. Unfortunately time does not allow us to provide any custom services at the moment so if you need this and you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
However this might not be necessary as the theme have many blocks with different layouts. For example you can chose between block 3, block 5 and block 6 which have a similar layout with block 16 on 1 colon.

I tried to change color options from panel but it doesnt work.

* I want the Default sidebar shown in post pages, and it is already shown the way I want, for example:

1. By default the theme does not have an option to display the category tag next to the date but you can achieve that by adding this line of code here: http://screencast.com/t/v0T8J4tbHRD – http://screencast.com/t/DhIWjozpyX
You have to edit each file corresponding with the module used. For example module 3 it’s generated by td_module_3.php. To check where each module it’s used look in theme panel > block settings: http://screencast.com/t/EBdiP6VgoR

2. You can modify any function you want from theme’s code but make sure that you’r changes don’t break the theme functionality. Note that any customizations requires good coding skills and if you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you as we can’t offer customization services at the moment.

Please make sure you added the url like here: http://screencast.com/t/MdHianZ0 but note that the smart-lists wren’t designed to open images in new tabs, only in modal image. Using custom links on images from smart-lists it’s possible to appear some issues, for example in smart list 1 images with custom links are doubled: http://screencast.com/t/SetM6vbpZW

I have now managed to get individual posts to be displayed correctly, but not post list views.

Please let me clarify.

Individual posts are shown correctly, for example:

However, post lists are almost, but not fully:

You see, I would like the righmost column also to be used for the post list. Instead, it continues to be reserved for the categories “Pääkirjoitus” and “Poiminnat”. A column with these categories should only appear on the front page – here:
