Hi,
Please provide your site’s URL so we can check this and also check for this by disabling all plugins and emptying your cache.
Please let me know if you still get this error.
Thanks
Hi,
I have tested this using the latest theme version (4.5) and haven’t had any issues with it. You should consider deactivating all plugins, empty cache/purge files if you sue any cache and/or cdn services as this could cause this.
Please make sure you do this and then check if you still have errors when setting a feature image for your products.
Please let me know and also provide your site’s URL.
Thanks
Hi:
My blog is not working properly. Yesterday I installed and set WP Super cache and I don’t know if is has something to do with the problems.
These are the problems as I noticed them although the #1 is previous to WP Super cache.
1- I see that the images thumbnails are not being used and a scaled version is served instead. And the image dimensions are missing (according to mtmetrix)
2. On the megamenu when you click on a category it goes to the home. If I go to menu options and check those categories, they are OK there’s nothing to change but i save all the same and then it works properly.
3. I have a different sidebar for each category and in each I have an Aweber subscription form. The one on the default sidebar retains the style buy the others no.

Any ideas?

Hi,
First of all try to deactivate all plugins, empty cache then re-save your permalinks structure then check again to see if you still get a blank page instead a 404 one.
Secondly, regarding update you can make a copy of your actual theme installation then update to the latest version and make the customization’s you need/want to the latest version as this would be the most ordinary way.
You also have the option to update using a patch and copy an overwrite just the files that have actually changed until 4.5 version. If you prefer this you can send an email at contact@tagdiv.com specify this in your email massage and we will send you a patch from 4.0.2 version to 4.5.
Thanks
Hi,
Regarding the Firefox slider issue you have I think it’s could be due to a plugin conflict so please deactivate all plugins then empty cache if you use any and check for this again. If this doesn’t happen anymore you can activate plugins one by one to see which one is creating a conflict.
The slider’s titles rows can be controlled from td_module_slide_big.php like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/changing-the-width-of-the-featured-post-title/#post-18499
Seems that your social sharing issue is due to some css: http://screencast.com/t/oOz120C25
You can fix it like this: http://screencast.com/t/AplJiCSfMEp
.td-social-sharing {
top: 0px;
}
Use this css for the menu border, just change the color border color to the one you want and for hover also: http://screencast.com/t/mF1GENRhXd1
.sf-menu li a:hover, .sf-menu .sfHover a, .sf-menu .current-menu-ancestor a, .sf-menu .current-category-ancestor a, .sf-menu > .current-menu-item > a {
border-color: #4db2ec;
}
.td-full-layout .td-menu-background, .td-boxed-layout .td-menu-wrap {
border-bottom: 4px solid rgb(229, 14, 55);
}
The menu font color can be changed from theme panel > custom typography: http://screencast.com/t/3RpxouZx
As for the mega menu direction I have searched a bit for a solution online but couldn’t find a simple solution. You can try to search for a solution yourself or you could hire some one to do it for you if you don’t know how to do it.
Thanks
Hi Christopher:
The plugin I’m using are:
Adrotate
Akismet
BackWPup
Contact form
Disqus
Envato
P3 (performance profiler)
tagDiv Social Counter
tagDiv speed booster
SEO by Yoast
WP-Optimize
WPBackery Visual Composer
WP Super Cache
And please feel free to run the report on http://gtmetrix.com/ yourself: http://www.mujeresdeempresa.com
I’ve just began today to optimize and install WP Super cache but the problem with the images were before i installed it.
By the way have you seen this: http://www.jpegmini.com/app ?
Thanks
It’s still happening after disabling the plugin and clearing the cache :/
Do you think it’s the tagdiv plugin?
Make sure the images are actually there? If you paste the image link into a browser does the image come up? Obviously it cannot create thumbnails from images which are linked to from your posts, but are not on the server.
You obviously also want to disable any caching or systems like mod_pagespeed before doing the regen, in case there is some system in place loading cached images in your posts.
Hope that helped!
Hi,
I have checked your post and seems like a resized image is added to your post: http://screencast.com/t/1IJNI2Ug
I have also tested this and found no issues with this: http://screencast.com/t/Bd3O1kCA8Hfd the full width image should be loaded.
Make sure you upload and add to your posts the full width/large image. If still doesn’t work make sure you disable all your plugins and empty your cache and/or purge files then check again.
Please let e know if you still have this issues!
Thanks
Thanks Christopher!
@ntoulios88
Unfortunately from theme version 4.3 the fixed/responsive settings has been removed together with the 980px layout. We plan to rebuild the frontend in the future (next 2-3 months) and unfortunately we had to make this move.
Sorry about this and for the inconvenience.
Regarding the custom typography please make sure as Christopher mentioned to empty your browser cache also please make sure you have updated the theme right, following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/
Next make sure you deactivate all plugins and empty cache and check for this again.
Also consider, if using any CDN plugin to purge files as the old file version can be delivered and generate this issues.
Thanks for understanding!
Hi,
I have tested this using the latest theme version and didn’t found any issue with the VC tabs. Also makes sure you do not have any errors in your console and if do have make sure you deactivate all plugins, empty cache then check again.
If this still dose not solve your issue please make sure you use the 4.3.4 plugin version with latest theme version 4.5.
Please let me know, and also provide your site’s URL so I can check this.
Thanks
Hi,
Please disable all plugins leaving just the Visual Composer active then empty cache and/or purge files if you use any cache plugins or CDN services and check again. If this still isn’t working please check your console for errors and also make sure your theme settings are saved. If not you have to increase the max_input_vars = 1000; value inside the php.ini file to max_input_vars = 5000;.
If you don’t have access to the php.ini file please contact the host administrator and let him know about this issue.
You could also updated the theme if the settings aren’t saved as we have made some changes in the latest versions so this won’t be needed anymore.
Hope this helps! Please let me know!
Thanks
Yes; useful to read the changelog which comes with each theme update in the main big folder to see what’s new.
The custom typography options work great over here, so you likely need to clear your browser cache, and make sure you deleted old theme before uploading NEW copy of theme so you don’t have mix of old and new files, which can cause hiccups.
Not sure that helped…. but there you are.
Hi Guys
Just to confirm – Christopher – I checked the log and there were no recent errors.
Lucian – there are no cache plugins so there was nothing to do there nor cdn plugins. It’s not a custom pretty permalink – it’s just the standard “day and name” option so we are hardly going offroad with this.
I did make sure attributes were 666 on .htaccess, and I cleared the file, and it was auto regenerated by WP to be the same as it was before.
The problem is not that the links don’t change – the menu links change depending on the setting in WP e.g. clicking the menu category gives the following link:
Permalink “Default” setting:
http://www.xtremerigs.net/?cat=4
– result = shows page correctly
Permalink “Day and Name” setting:
http://www.xtremerigs.net/category/build-logs/
– result = gives 404 error
Other things from those links – adding to the .htaccess in the public_html dir:
– I tried AllowOverride – but that seemed to stop the site from working – maybe I did this wrong
– I tried FollowSymLinks – no change
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Hi,
Thanks Christopher!
@uregnander89
Please deactivate all plugins, empty cache if you use any cache plugin and also purge files if you use any CDN service, after this change your permalink structure to default and then back to your custom permalink structure.
If this dose not solve it please go trough this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Fixing_Permalink_Problems and this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Using_.22Pretty.22_permalinks and make sure you use the permalinks right.
Thanks
It might be a caching issue. When you update your permalink structure, this should update links on home pages, other indexes, etc. as those are all queries to the dbase, so should show correct links unless the pages/home page is cached. Not sure if that helps, but this happened to me and it was caching issue.
Hi,
Thank you very much for your reply!
Thanks for considering my feature idea. I think it would be very nice because bloggers want now to display their content by “format” et not only by categories or thematics.
I disabled CSS/JS/HTML minify in my WordPress cache plugin and the bug has left! Thank you!
Hi,
Sorry for the delay!
Are you sure that the WordPress SEO plugin is responsible for this? I have inspected your site and found that you have some missing css from a plugin: http://screencast.com/t/0Oggd7Bkdv1
Please make sure you deactivate all plugins and enable just the Visual Composer, bbpress and WordPress SEO plugins then check if this is still happening.
Also remember to empty your cache and purge files if you sue any cache or CDN plugins.
Please let me know of what you find.
Thanks

Hi,
Please try this: http://screencast.com/t/TPWqFMtFCOp
Hope this fixes it as I have tested this several times now and haven’t had any issue with this, please make sure you also empty cache after changing this: http://screencast.com/t/oVOe9rgh2s
Thanks
Hi,
I have checked your site and found that this comes from your server configuration as in your case the page is set to expire after 10 min so the the browser creates a cache of the page and for 10 min it loads the page from cache: http://screencast.com/t/ZyKBeISFy8Ok
You can check this yourself load the page leave it 10 min then load the page again from the menu.
Thanks
Thank you Lucian for your reply. Yes, I did what you suggested before contacting you. My apologizes for not stating that in the beginning. All plugins deactivated, cleared all sites cache and error continues to exist.
As I mentioned to Christopher, when I switch the theme to a default WP theme, I am able to upload using the media uploader directly without any problems. I am using WP 4.0
