Hi,
Unfortunately, our theme has not been tested with this cache plugin, so I cannot offer you an official solution.
What I can suggest is to set a time to clear the cache on the site, a shorter time maybe an hour, that should solve the problem.
Thank you!
Hi,
If it works please tell us, maybe there are other users who want to use the Siteground cache.
Thank you!
It is not accepting any changes.. I changed the background color many times, nothing changes . I even removed the logo but same result. no change.. I cleared the phone browser cache.. Nothing is working:)
Hi there,
We are using Newspaper theme on our website, with LSCache WordPress plugin active. We are running a Core Web Vitals audit and the LiteSpeed team is tuning the plugin in order to achive the best results on CWV.
During the tuning, we found out that Google bot is not seeing the updated version of the category pages, on which we are using a TagDiv cloud template.
I am pasting below the answer and asking you to help us with this.
The LSCache team told us that the template we are using to generate the category view is not recognized as official Category view/pages, so they can’t be purged automatically, once a new article is added on the category.
Thank you for those details, I also got the logs and indeed these templates are not recognized as official Category pages, which is why they are not purged.
However, in order to do this, the only way is to contact the plugin owner and ask them to integrate with LSCWP API, so that they can trigger a purge on their URL’s when an update is done.
Regards,
Ciprian Pap
Hello,
@big, Thank you for your kind words.
@theheritagelab,
The plugin tested for the cache is WP Super Cache, some users use WP Rocket -> https://www.andraware.com/wp-rocket-for-newspaper-theme/
So, if the plugin is disabled the menu works, please check if the Site Ground has the option to exclude files, you can try to exclude the follow -> /jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
tdBlocksArray
Thank you!
Hi I have disabled all plugins and cache cleared no change. Review stars and the author button are not displayed.
the funny thing is the other buttons like category and comments are displayed when the layout setting is set to show. I didn’t change anything about the css either. There is also no child theme.
Greetings Birgit
Hello
I tried to purge all caches and make a hard refresh…
I even tried to use Hide my ass, a proxy web to navigate on my site and the problem is still there with 12.3.1
I reinstalled 12.3.1 on my site so you can experience the problem yourself…
Thanks
Hello,
Please activate the tagdiv Standard Pack plugin and clear all the cache.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please do a test using only tagdiv plugins, clear all cache and check the results.
Thank you!
Hi,
I think the problem is caused by a plugin for cache which optimizes the CSS and js.
Can you force refresh the page(https://fabricdigital.co.nz/blog/how-to-hard-refresh-your-browser-and-clear-cache) and purge the all cache?
Thank you!
Hello,
Have you checked for a plugin conflict? Please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Please try not to reply multiple times in the topic/email if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic/email date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.
Please be patient! We will try to reply again and help you as soon as possible!

Hi,
I see it.
I think I know what the problem is, the cache plugin does not recognize the update or publish command to clear the cache, like the update button in WordPress. But now, what I can say is to do a test without the plugin cache and see if it appears.
Please let me know the results.
Thank you!
Hello byothe,
I see. What I can recommend now is to update the theme to 12.3.1, clear all cache and check to see if the problem persists. If persists, please use the time machine to use an old theme version – https://i.imgur.com/RHjE6MD.png try v12 and let us know if the problem is resolved.
Normally we didn’t change anything related to the responsive version on mobile, it is possible to be something else.
Thank you!
Hello,
Thanks for your answer. Since I don’t want to hide this comment box always from non-registered users, I’m kindly asking you if there is any way to hide tagdiv-elements using the above-mentioned content control shortcodes?
Also I have one last question: For some reason I can’t save elements in the tagdiv composer. I disabled the cache plugin and tried different browsers but it never worked. Can you help me to handle this issue please? Thanks!
Dima
Hllo,
I’m not 100% sure, but it can be related to the errors that appear in the console – https://i.imgur.com/tRWz9Jv.png
What I can suggest is to check it when you are logged in, if the website is working, then the problem is related to cache settings and the settings from the optimized plugins.
In case the problem persists and you agree we can take a closer look, for this please contact us via email at contact@taagdiv.com and provide temporary access to the website, also, include the link to this topic to can identify you.
Thank you!
Hi,
The option to turn them off (the ads )can be found in Newspaper -> System status -> https://i.imgur.com/N5Iq4j6.png
I did a lot of tests, and for me and my colleague’s work, but maybe you have some plugins, or a strong cache. Purge the cache a few times.
Thank you!
Hi,
What you can do are the follow:
1. Make sure that you have the last theme version 12.3.1
2 Use only necessary plugins (for example you can go only on standard templates using tagDiv Standard pack or you can go with cloud templates that can be customized using the tagDiv Composer, you can use both, but this will consume more resources, so you can use only one of them).
3. Use the cache option on your flex blocks – https://forum.tagdiv.com/use-flex-blocks-cache-option/
4. Make sure that all theme requirements are set – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
5. Use a database cache.
I hope this will help you!
Hello erickimani,
I see that it is acting like the column size is changing. If the problem appears only when you are not logged in, then it can be from some cache, maybe you have some cache on the server.
Also, if you want we can take a closer look, for this please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and please provide temporary w-admin access and include the link of this topic. We’ll check it as soon as possible and we’ll fix the problem.
Thank you!

Hello!
I can see that is broken on mobile and you can not solve it with CSS code.
Please ask the revolution slider theme’s plugin. Are you sure you’ve created also a responsive version?
