Hello @edanur !
It should work well as I described above. Please avoid using any untested plugins or cache plugins that may cause problems. Check the requirements here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!

Hi Bettina
Thanks for your fast reply and it turns out that the problem was my providers cache program – everything works fine after i deactivated that. It has never been a problem, but apparently after an update it has become a problem. So now i will have to hunt for another cache plugin – I will absolute not change the Newspaper Theme which is the best theme ever 🙂
Hello @zazenwebdesign!
As a suggestion, disable the lazy load animation: https://www.screencast.com/t/O5pfqQdb
If the problem is still there, then the issue could be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue. Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache from your browser and try again.
Thank you!
Hello!
First of all, make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache from your browser and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello @solidoes !
Please edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer and see how it looks like in the editor and edit it back.
If the problem is not in the TagDiv Composer, then it could be from a plugin conflict or from a cache issue or some custom code.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello!
Please make sure this is not a cache issue or a plugin conflict.
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache from your browser and try again. Make sure you save the changes in the TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello @DKF!
This issue can be from the cache plugin that you use or a plugin conflict there with the theme. Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache from your browsers and try again.
Thank you!
Hello @tabloidsusa!
I cannot see any screenshot or details, sorry.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.
Not every cache plugin is efficient and you should clear the cache every time.
We recommend using only one cache plugin, the WP Super Cache plugin with this configuration: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure
Thank you!
Hello @bettina!
First i saved the page and cleared the cache. I disabled all plugins (including caching plugin) except TagDiv because the categories were still not showing up. But still the categories did not appear. What should I do now? I need your help.
Thank you!
Hello @Vplforum!
Try to reinstall the TagDiv Composer like:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello!
If you want to use auto ads (which are displayed randomly on your website), then they should be placed in the Theme Panel -> Analytics/Js Codes. Unfortunately, you can not choose where to display them, only if you use the normal ads and not the auto. Uninstall the cache plugin(WP Rocket or any other) that you use because sometime can interfere and your ads couldn’t be displaying well.
Thank you!
Hello @edanur!
Save and view the page. Clear all cache and see the results.
If the categories won’t appear, then make sure there is not a plugin conflict. Deactivate ALL plugins except TagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it and see the results.
Thank you!
Hello @affnads!
Please check if this is the same when you edit this post with the TagDiv Composer and delete the duplicated rows.
If the problem is still there and in the composer it is showing correctly, then make sure there is not a plugin conflict. Deactivate ALL plugins except TagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it and see the results.
Thank you!
Hello @transcontinentaltimes!
Please try to reinstall the theme plugins once again like: disable, uninstall(delete), clear cache (if cache plugin exists), install, activate, clear cache (if cache plugin exists). Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello @editamagerit!
Normally, if the option no template is selected, then you should see the settings there.
Please make sure there is not a plugin conflict with our theme. Deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it and see the results.
Thank you!
Hello @HOB!
Check this guide: https://amp-wp.org/documentation/playbooks/handling-form-submissions/ and make sure that all the requirements are done as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it and see the results.
Thank you!
Hello @xhylyx1nr!
Please make sure the other cache plugins are not active anymore and see the changes.
Thank you!
Thanks Anamaria, please see screenshots below. Also how would I clear cache and how to prevent this from ever happening again?
Hi,
There is a delay indeed, the menu loads when the website fully loads. And the website loads in about 7 seconds https://i.imgur.com/dqGHg1Z.png
There are various errors, including a 404 for an image, I would suggest dealing with that first. A simple 404 error can delay the loading of the website a lot.
The 404 seems to be for an image, this one https://i.imgur.com/UjLuTYH.png
It is preloaded in the header, but it doesn’t exist https://www.reisverhalen.info/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/20200321320f757d-aa1f-6338-f08f-010c10616507.jpg?ezimgfmt=ng%3Awebp%2Fngcb5
I think it is set in the footer somewhere https://i.imgur.com/ZEGMV8r.png
I suggest editing the footer with the composer, and checking every row in it, to see if there is a background image set for one for them https://i.imgur.com/3z00siB.png The option to remove should be there if there is an image set, remove it or replace it. Once that is done, clear the cache and check if the website loads faster. Let me know.
Thank you!
Hi,
The super cache plugin has a setting to prevent the issue you mention from happening, please make sure it is active -> https://i.imgur.com/LyNdtD3.png Clear the cache if you have to activate it.
However, I believe you are also using another cache, the one provided by the siteground hosting -> https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/sg-optimizer/supercacher/
So despite installing the super cache and configuring it correctly, there is another cache active, so the issue isn’t solved.
I suggest checking the siteground cache configuration, mainly activating a setting mentioned in the siteground tutorial -> https://i.imgur.com/cQLUcHr.png
Then clear all the caches, and the issue should not happen anymore. Let me know.
Thank you!
Hi there,
My main menu is ok now. But now my mega menu is loading slow in chrome and firefox. In safari it’s fine.
I set Mega menu preloader at ‘preload all’ and I cleared cache. I also cleared browser cache. Isn’t that strange?
muslimskeptic.com
I have used the caching plugin that you recommended WP Super Cache but the problem persists.
Hi,
Please clear for a few times the cache and check the results.
Also, please provide the link to your website and some screenshots, of what you see when you are logged in and log out.
Thank you!
