Visual composer (now WPBakery page builder) was the main page builder provided with the theme. Until our own page builder was introduced in version 8. Our page builder is built from scratch, it is a front end builder

Any of these can be imported and used, only with the tagDiv composer.

In order to use “image info box” on categories an post you’ll need to use tagDiv Cloud Library and edit a post template and a category template, afar that do not forget to set them on post and categories.

So you want to create posts and you need a builder.
TagDiv Composer is a builder for pages and templates from tagDiv Cloud Library.

If this options are not enough https://www.screencast.com/t/Wr3Zokr0Jkv , then you can use the wpBakery and create the posts, but be notice that if you want to use AMP is possible that your posts to do not work.

The easiest way is to edit a template from tagdiv cloud library, to change a custom template means to change the file for that template ( make change in theme files, not very recommended), and this one is not indicate if you do not have the proper skills to do this.

That is correct, the tagDiv composer isn’t a replica of Visual composer. There are elements that only Visual composer has, but also there are elements that only the tagDiv composer has. As a side note the cloud library plugin only works with the tagDiv composer.

Elements specific to Visual composer, like the accordion you mention, will not work with the tagDiv composer. So if it is required to use them, use Visual composer and deactivate the tagDiv composer. Both page builders will be provided in the theme package.

We will try to add more elements in our composer in the future. Sorry for any inconvenience.

1. Create a Authors page were to show all authors.

By default the custom post types will use the default post template. You can create a custom template for each custom post type (based on the other post template styles), as mentioned in this guide (at the bottom)

In the theme the settings and options for custom post types are limited, they will not share the same options as default post types, or the cloud library templates. Maybe this will chnage in the future and more features will be added.

There are two page builders provided with the theme. One is the WPBakery page builder (only backend usage with our theme), the other is the tagDiv composer (frontend builder created by us specifically for this theme).

We recommend that the tagDiv composer is used to build the website. All the theme demos are built with it as well

Our composer should be installed and activated automatically when the theme is installed. It can be used to edit pages from multiple places, for example in the admin bar (while viewing a page)

Maybe I was not clear first time, you can get a post template from tagDiv Cloud Library and you can edit that template with tagDiv Composer and change it how you want.

Or if you do not want to change the post template, then you’ll need to add some custom css, in order to do that please provide a link to a post with this template, in this way I will be able to provide you the right custom css.

The website is in maintenance more from what I can see at the moment. I will try to help you based on your previous messages.

If the tagDiv composer edit option does not appear for the homepage, it could be because the website not using a static page, it’s using the default WordPress blog page. This default page will show your latest articles and nothing else, it is not possible to edit it with the composer.

If you want to achieve the same result you could use the flex grid, just like in the demo.

For example copy the homepage code from the gossip demo in a test page
