Hello,
Starting from version 8.8, we introduced the Cloud Library plugin which allows you to create post templates using the tagdiv composer. Please check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/ The tagdiv composer an now be used not only for posts or pages but also for categories, author templates, search templates, tag templates, date archive templates, etc. We are constantly improving the tagdiv composer possibilities.
Thanks.
I have chosen special font weight parameters for headings:
http://take.ms/be3Kh
It is also reflected in post cloud template:
http://take.ms/Cr0HT
When I edit the post the headings look as needed – http://take.ms/QewCg
No additional weight is added manually.
But when I publish the post the heading looks like the words in it has the different weight – http://take.ms/ZqCzK
Please, advise how to fix this bug.
Hello Catalin,
I just checked this on one of your demo-websites and the bug happens there, too. So it’s definetly a bug in Newspaper and not on our side.
See here:
https://cloud.tagdiv.com/category/cars/
Greetings,
Wolfgang
Hello!
I think, this is a bug: If I create a category-template with the Cloud Template builder and if I set a post-offset for the article list (post loop), the pagination is gone.
Hello tangy,
If you will use the Cloud Library template for Single Post you will use the TD Composer to edit your sidebar and fonts, as well.
Thanks for your understanding!
1. Are you saying that in order to prevent the theme from crashing upon update, I have to deactivate the tagDiv composer and cloud library plugins? I see the tagdiv composer plugin but i do not see a plugin called cloud library.
2. Another strange thing in my dashboard that might give some clues as to what the problem is: where it lists the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin, it says it’s version 4.5.3 and doesn’t say that I need to update it. Also, on the left side, on the black vertical sidebar of the dashboard, it just says Visual Composer, not WP Bakery Visual Composer
Thank you!
Hello wltrpnm,
Notice that you can make a custom title for your review section from Cloud Template Library. Sorry, but the theme notice that does not have any such an option for it.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
We recommend the tagDiv composer as the page builder. Also as of late, it can also be used to design post templates, category templates, author templates, etc
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Of course you can choose to use WPBakery, we will provide updates for the plugin.
As a note you should consider, future updates of the theme will contain new features or options that may not be possible without the tagDiv composer.
Other users may share their opinions in the matter, what they use and why.
Thanks
Hello Catalin.
Thank you.
I’ve already done that as you can see on my very first post on this thread.
The problem is, whenever a post is not a review post, the Title element will remain there as you can see on this screenshot (which is a post without review): https://prnt.sc/k44pa2 comparing to this post with review: https://prnt.sc/k44p01 which has a review title using the Title element.
What I need is a review title element on which it will only appear whenever a post has review on it.
Maybe a little addition of review title element on Cloud Library Composer in the next update will help.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
If this is your website, there are some mixed content issues at first sight
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1Wx8Ujhvn3lB
They are referring to some fonts you are using on the website and could influence loading speed.
Also plugins may slow down the website, try as a quick test to deactivate theme all, leave only theme plugins active, check before and after loading speed.
I see you have both page builders active, that would have a large impact on loading speed. Deactivate the one you don’t use. We recommend that users use the tagDiv composer, we constantly try to optimize this builder. Try as a test to deactivate WPBakery, check the results.
Install a caching plugin or use free Cloudflare. We recommend WP super cache as a caching plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Or use Cloudflare with these settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thanks
Found it – resources is not an issue we have a pretty big server – it was due to cloudflare putting it into development mode solves it thanks Simion for the help.
But this one is of TD-Cloud library. Why Cloud library doesn’t supports mobile.
Hi,
The WPBakery version provided in the theme package is 5.5.1 I made a few tests with it but it seems to work same as before with the theme
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Y4vTtHOPBPE
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EbuUy0g4asm
Be sure that the tagDiv composer and cloud library plugins are deactivated or there could be problems with WPBakery. After you update the theme the composer will be activated automatically.
Thanks
Amazing work with the templates, there’s just an issue, in most of the single post templates, I am unable to see the Create Template button. Not sure what is going on, probably the page isn’t long enough, I cannot see the Create Template button. Is there a fix for this? https://www.screencast.com/t/6ip91MB5 VS https://www.screencast.com/t/OsQJ2K82Ted
Thanks!
Hello Catalin.
Thanks for your reply.
It’s not about the translation, I understand it perfectly, it’s the shortcode itself.
Is there shortcode for review title available in the Cloud Library Composer?
Judging from the normal review system, if we break it down, there should be 4 different shortcodes for each element, like this: https://prnt.sc/k4bprl
But based on this screenshot https://prnt.sc/k44nck, we are missing out the review title shortcode as pointed on point #1 on this screenshot https://prnt.sc/k4bprl.
Ideally, there should be 4 different shortcodes available including the review title.
Do I miss something on this?
Thanks in advance.
Thank you for the image help, didn’t know I can do that, it helps a lot. Inveti ceva nou in fiecare zi…
As for the menu. I found the problem.
The meniu was a custom link. So I think the meniu was highlighted because it was recognized as a link, I removed the link and now its all the same color.
Another question
https://imgur.com/a/YzZf5dI
how can I make the widget title have the same header template?
Basically I want to have there, a tag cloud and the jetpack subscribe widget
Hi,
Our composer does not have a similar element to that. There is a tag cloud widget but that is a simple looking widget it would require additional design.
In our theme tags can be displayed on top of blocks, as a live filtering option. Users can filter the block by the tag they want. This is called the ajax filter, it can show tags as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sBy6Lfb5adW
The filter may display differently depending on block header style used
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-header-1/
More about block settings here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks
Hi Guys!
I just discovered Cloud Templates feature. It truly amazing! If I understood this feature correctly I can import and editing only Pre-designed Templates from tagDiv Cloud Library. Can I edit with Cloud Templates my templates that I’m using currently? Eg. my post template or category view? How Can I do that?
Hello,
You should use the Cloud Library, import from there such a template for Category, Single Post because there you will see the option for width, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/1ykAwMY3j If is not what you mean, provide your website URL and more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
@havardkrislok You can design post templates as you wish now, with the introduction of the Cloud library plugin the tagDiv composer can now be used to design post templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
We provide some predefined post templates (these can be edited by you), or you can design your own from scratch
– http://prntscr.com/k499qa
Hi,
It would be if you include the form in a post template. Design the template as you want with the Cloud library plugin and the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Include the contact form in the template, then apply the template to the posts you want. The contact form shortcode can be entered in a columns text for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/SA0G6t7iXwY
Thanks
Hi,
From what I can see you are using theme version 8.7.2, the cloud library plugin was introduced in update 8.8. So you would have to update in order to use the plugin, latest theme version is 8.8.2. Here you can see the changelog (bottom of the page)
Also an update guide you can follow here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thanks
On making a new post template using Cloud Library, I notice that there are shortcodes for review system.
But there are only Review Overview, Review Overall, and Review Summary. The Review Title is missing.
Like this: https://prnt.sc/k44nck
Although I managed to make a custom title for the review using Title shortcode, but in the output, the Title shortcode ofcourse appears in all posts (using the Cloud Library Template) including posts without review.
Review post: https://prnt.sc/k44p01
Post without review: https://prnt.sc/k44pa2
Is there any other way to create a custom title on TD Cloud Library that can fix my problem above?
Or it might be a good idea if you also make Review Title available in the TD Cloud Library Composer in the upcoming update.
Thanks in advance.
experiencing the same problem. amp works disabling cloud templates. i tried uninstalling cloud and installing again but amp gets 404 error.
Chiming in here to report that I also experienced this issue. I didn’t realize that it even was an issue until I received a Google Search Console error email for my site. Extremely frustrating. Disabling the cloud library reversed this issue instantly.
I’d also like to add that from time to time, the plugins associated with the theme (like AMP, tagDIV Composer, etc) turn off without notice or warning, also leading to more Google Search Console errors.
