What exactly happened and why did it take 5 hours to create the post? Were there problems with theme theme, or errors?
Were you building a post template with the composer or writing a post?
We can provide a refund if you are not satisfied with the theme, you can request it here
– https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new
Hi,
Thank you for your suggestions, feedback from our users is most welcome. I could add a few things.
– Indeed a general switch for making the website boxed does not exist at the moment.
– All rows and columns have width settings – http://prntscr.com/mh9fwf
So in page and cloud templates where you can use the tagDiv composer, you can have custom widths.
– Regarding this gutter, I don’t exactly understand what it is supposed to do.
– The post title in cloud templates has padding and margin settings, all elements in the tagDiv composer have this in the CSS tab – http://prntscr.com/mh9i4p
If this is not what you meant please correct me.
– Regarding the reviews, you could create a review configured as you want and save it, then re-use it – http://prntscr.com/mh9jb9 – http://prntscr.com/mh9jra
Most if not all the elements can be saved once configured and re-used.
– For what element would you like to chnage the image size? Maybe there is a way.
You can use cloud post templates, these can be customized in almost very aspect
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Here you can experiment with cloud templates designed by us (preview and edit), there is also a blank template if you want to design your own
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single
There are plans to add a scrollbar to the composer element list in coming updates.
The theme has predefined ad spots, also you can use ad boxes from the composer to place them in various locations. The theme ad capabilities are simple however, for more advanced ad management some users use the Adrotate plugin with the theme.
While the theme is compatible with the Woocommerce plugin, it doesn’t have specific settings for it like other themes that are built with this in mind. If you want to set up a shop and have questions let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe you do not understand me, you’ll need to edit the cloud template that you have set on post and you need to add the comments shortcode with tagDiv Composer.
If you want I can help you with this; just send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you.
Hello team im a new customer, purchased your theme and i have some issues.
I wrote also on comments but i didnt took a clear answer so i respond here.
Well my point is to create a homepage with full width and left sticky sidebar. Also in middle i want to bring other posts and right a sidebar i dont care to be sticky though.Thats what my layout i want it to be but the point is i cant create left sticky sidebar in full width with visual composer and if i try to switch to tagdiv composer it says that the page was not created by td composer and it loads infinetely.
So how can i achieve that?I saw that in options i can create smart sidebar on left for categories only but how i can do this for homepage also?
2)is it possible somehow to have hamburger menu on homepage?
Thanks for assist team !Have a nice day!
Hey folks
totally not critical thing; just noted the readme.md for TD_Composer still references the old beta github URL, and dev support forum; both which are now 404
ref package in ‘all files’ download / plugins
Version: 2.3 | built on 13.12.2018 8:45
Might want to start using https URLs in all the files, at some point 😉
Plugin Name: tagDiv Composer
Plugin URI: http://tagdiv.com
Only noticed as was prepping for upgrade from NM 3.1 to NM 4x…
Feel free to delete this post after making note of my pestering 🙂
Hello, team tagDiv.
I embedded MailChimp form in my template. Everything’s fine but I wanted to change some colors so that my form can match with my theme.
There were three colors that were not changing.
1) Input placeholder color.
2) Input background color.
3) Input border color.
Please see this image for more clarity.
Hi, I’ve been using Newspaper theme for a long time and I love it. I started using TDComposer recently on my primary Jaipur city travel blog (linked) where I’m facing strange issue.
A strange white bar is always there above first element in TDComposer and Top Menu bar. I couldn’t find any way to fix it. Any help will be appreciated.
Hello,
as the saying goes ‘If You Don’t Ask, You Won’t Get It’ so here is some suggestions for the next update 🙂
Full Layout control
– Simple Option Boxed/Full (not add a background to enable boxed layout…)
– Content/Sidebar ratio (right now fixed at 66%/33%) 33% for a sidebar it’s too much.
– Container width control.
– Gutter width control | left and right content gutter, left and right sidebar gutter.
Add padding and margin control for H1..H6 Post Title etc…
Add templates for Reviews.
When you have a thematic website you will used most of the time the same Reviews criterias for your posts
ex: Mobile reviews
– 1) Design
– 2) OS
– 3) Camera Quality
– 4) Average battery life
– 5) Performance
etc
ex: Restaurant reviews
– 1) Food quality
– 2) Service quality
– 3) Price
– 4) Accessibility
etc
So it’s will be great to not have to rebuild each time the same review for each post.
Be able to add custom image size.
Have a better control of some post templates
– Custom Featured Image size (if the Content/Sidebar ratio is changed the Featured Image width need to be changed too)
or build a formula to detect the good Featured Image size | (Container width) – ( (all gutter) + sidebar width) = content size so Featured Image size = XXXpx
or select the full image size as Featured Image if the Content/Sidebar ratio is changed.
It’s not the best solution but at least a CSS reduction will provide a better result than an increase.
Switch Theme support and Theme panel menu in the admin bar
The “theme support” is more easily accessible than the “theme panel”, which means that the user will need more support than customize the theme ? :*) Too complicate to use ? lol
A Favicon who replace all WordPress favicon setting. Right now the “Theme Panel” favicon replace only the Front End favicon not the Admin one
Or Better provide 2 favicons entries Front End / Admin 🙂
Add a Header and Footer builder. This really missing in Newspaper, most of the premium theme have one now.
Enable tagDiv composer for Post or build also all new blocks for WPBakery, even the custom possibilities are less.
A post need some custom blocks as well, not only the pages.
Add a vertical slider to tagDiv “Add element” left bar.
I using a Wacom tablet and I do not have a mouse wheel so I can navigate into the “Add element” left bar, or at least enable the arrows.
(PS the search box is cool but useless when you have no idea of what you’re looking for.)
Rebuild the Ads section, the way of working is to old and not effective.
Take a look at Better Ads from BetterStudio who is include in Publisher.
It’s not perfect but far more advanced than what provide Newspaper.
Better Ads > Normal Ad/ AMP Ads, AdSense Ads, DoubleClick for Publishers, Image Ad, HTML Ad, Campaign manager, Ad Blockers Fallback
Default Ads by categories/ sub categories, all default Ads can be overridden in each post/page.
Woocommerce is totally forgotten. Win money with some Ads it’s cool but sell products or goodies it’s a good income way too.
Some Product and Category templates will be welcome.
Best Regards
Nexus
Hi,
If you want to add the Newsletter to your Post Sidebar, you have to create a Custom Post Template using the Cloud Template Library and add this element with TD Composer plugin on your sidebar, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5dljsKX5l
Thanks.
Hi,
You’ll need to edit the page and set the sidebar column to be sticky ( with tagDiv Composer ) -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6o7K3uBRr -> https://www.screencast.com/t/4rhfsEDd
Hope this will help you!
Thanks.
Hi,
Please make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide. Please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also please check the them plugins if you made the site with tagDiv Composer this need to be activate the tagDic Cloud library too -> https://www.screencast.com/t/JWqcJoKg
Please make sure that you can use Import / Export theme settings -. https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
But I think that the easiest way would be to use a plugin to duplicate your website, if you want here is a list withe the most recommended
https://winningwp.com/best-plugins-to-copy-clone-duplicate-a-wordpress-site/
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
When we edit a page – which was successfully build with TD Composer – to update for example “Yoast SEO” settings and update the page using the blue WordPress button “Update”; then after opening TD Composer again, all content line breaks / new lines are removed from “Column text elements” when opening the text element with the “Edit Content” button.
How can we prevent this behavior?
Thank you!
I’ve checked that documentation, but it does not tell me how to change something like the look of the custom title that I can with the tagDiv Composer. For example, I would want to change the color from blue to something else, or the design overall (that goes for the widget section titles, as well):

As I mentioned, I tried to use the default template and use the “Posts Loop” block, but that resulted in a bug for mobile where the titles overlaid the featured images inappropriately on mobile, so I opted for the other template. It did give me more customizability for desktop, however.

Hi,
The tagDiv Composer is the theme builder and Visual Composer is a secondary builder.
Important Note: Do not use both page builders on the same page!
If you are using Page Builder + Latest Articles + Pagination please check this documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/, or you can use the default template and add with tagDiv Composer a post loop -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hufwBavcZBJ
Thank you.
Hi,
Please do not use tow builders/composers on the same page -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dXPaBjmDcwx
If you build the page with WP bakery set the shortcode with WP bakery.
Please try with other shortcode and see if this is still happen.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
The top menu is displayed at the top of the header, it would have no relation to a sidebar menu.
Listing for example categories like that would be achievable but they will have no effect on the rest of the page or filter it. In the theme only blocks have the ajax filter which can be used to filter it’s content – http://prntscr.com/mgtn1a
– http://prntscr.com/mgtnbt
With the tagDiv composer something like that can’t be achieved at the moment. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Hello,
I have used the ‘hide’ option to not show the stars of a review, but the pages that use the tagDiv Composer do not show either the author or the date of the post.
Example: https://www.elquintobeatle.com/criticas-discos/
(The Zowi, Aliment, James Blake specifically are review posts that do not show now author and date).
Could you help me?
Thanks a lot!
Hi,
There is a scroll to top displayed in the bottom right corner, but other than this the theme doesn’t have anything else for placing a scroll button in specific locations. Maybe there are plugins that you can use for this task.
I found some plugins you could try – https://www.sourcewp.com/wordpress-scroll-to-top-plugins/
There are general font settings in the theme panel, with a wide selection of fonts
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Also there are font settings in the composer, this will be specific to the elements
– http://prntscr.com/mgt939
So these settings made in the composer per elements, will have priority over the ones from the theme panel.
Thanks
You can place the subtitle anywhere possible while editing the post template in the composer.
Using cloud post templates it is possible to re-arrange the subtitle element and all other elements within a post template
– http://prntscr.com/mgsywz
Here you can preview and even edit the cloud post templates designed by us
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single
You can also design your own from scratch by using the blank template. More about the cloud library plugin here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
In my web I use the Newspaper 9 gaming theme.
I want to add a navigation button with a fixed position when the user accesses using mobile on each posting page and page.
Screenshot : https://pasteboard.co/HZJ2fIP.jpg
I want add this code :
<div class="navbar">
<a href="#"><i class="tds-icon td-icon-whatsapp"></i><br>WA</a>
<a href="#"><i class="tds-icon tdc-font-tdmp tdc-font-tdmp-old-phone"></i><br>TELP</a>
<a href="#"><i class="tds-icon td-icon-whatsapp"></i><br>WA</a>
</div>
I have used these 3 ways:
1. Newspaper > Theme Panel > Custom Code > {add script html}
2. Add html scripts on wp-content/themes/newspaper/footer.php and wp-content/themes/newspaper/mobile/footer.php
3. Add html script with visual composer.
I used this method successfully, but only on the front page.
how can the script that I use be used on every page, post page ?
Hi,
If you want to edit the ads from pages you’ll need to use tagDiv Composer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vuYVacgUxl
Also you can use custom css -> https://www.screencast.com/t/o9kPnQBy5s1
.td-adspot-title {
color: red;
font-size: 14px;
}
You need to set the code in Newspaper > theme panel>Custom code >Custom css and all titles of ads will have that font size and color
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Our theme make some thumbs for each image you add in media library -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
So you want to have more control over blocks, if is so then you need to use tagDiv Composer and you can use instead of simple block the flex blocks -> https://www.screencast.com/t/GG6JFCWT8kT
Thank you.
Hi,
Did you check the configuration for cloudflare ?
Also please note that only tagdiv composer and tagdiv social counter are theme plugins, the akismet, yoast, super cache are not theme plugins, make a test deactivate them and see if the cpu is the same, also please not that WordPress and Newspaper theme need some cpu resource, also all plugins that you have need cpu and memory resource.
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/jf1gXKbmia -> https://codex.wordpress.org/High_Traffic_Tips_For_WordPress
HOW TO REDUCE WORDPRESS CPU USAGE ->https://wpfixit.com/reduce-wordpress-cpu-usage/
Thank you for your understanding!
Also, related to that, I would like to know how to edit aspects of the posts loop using the “Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination” template.
Using TD Composer, and inserting the “Posts Loop” block that way, I’m able to freely modify the presentation such as the image sizes and how the “Custom title” looks (I don’t want it in the default blue). I experienced bugs on mobile using this method, so I decided against it.
But when I use the default “latest articles” given with the template, I find the options available in the WordPress editor’s “Posts Loop Settings” to be restrictive.
Alright that makes sense – I’m not running both, I like the TD Composer A LOT so I just wanted to make sure in advance. Appreciate the help.
