Hi,
Please edit the page with the composer and check the row where the slide is placed. Set the row stretch to default option
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1ompzCsbF0
Then save the page and view it. The issue should be solved.
Thanks
I have installed the tagDiv composer, but it is not possible to drag and drop – even though the edit page is visible.
What might be wrong?
Hi Support
Not sure if anyone here can assist, I guess this would come down as theme customization so I’m only posting on the off chance.
I would like to remove the link that appears in TD-Module-Thumb when using blocks, I would like to be left with only the title linking to whatever appears in these blocks so I don’t have 2 links to every article. I have highlighted in yellow first what I want to remove, the second item in yellow is what I want to keep.

I can see this code in TD_Module_4 which specifies the image dimensions but it is not clear to me how I go about removing the link, I have also looked in the block templates and I still don’t see what I could edit to achieve this small change.
<div class=”<?php echo $this->get_module_classes();?>”>
<div class=”td-module-image”>
<?php echo $this->get_image(‘td_324x235’); ?>
<?php if (td_util::get_option(‘tds_category_module_4’) == ‘yes’) { echo $this->get_category(); }?>
</div>
My site uses pages only if that makes a difference with pagebuilder and title as the template, I prefer Visual Composer also as opposed to the new Tag Div composer.
Appreciate any assistance.
regards
Wes Dunn
Hello,
Unfortunately you cannot use the page builder for posts. If you use visual composer on posts, maybe, but be careful as VC was never tested on posts. https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but in our theme the page builders only work properly on pages. Even visual composer was never tested or recommended for posts. We implemented our page builder for pages only.
Thank you!
TD Composer doesn’t appear for posts, only for pages.
How do I enable it for posts?
Hi,
I want to edit my page with TD Composer, but when click edit with TD Composer just loading. please help
Hello,
Please open a new topic if your issues are not related to the topic ‘at hand’. The rev slider plugin does not have an activation code as it’s a bundled version. Please read this guide that also applies to the rev slider plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thank you!
Hello Madison,
Sorry but our theme does not feature such a layout for the moment. We are working on adding cool new features to the tagdiv composer so in the near future, there will be a possibility to create such headers but for the moment, we cannot provide a solution.
Thank you!
I disable all the plugins and the error persists when I try to edit Html code with TD Composer.
Any other help?
Thank you
Hi,
I could not give you an exact date for the theme update, all I can say is that the developer team is working to implement considerable more elements to the tagDiv composer. There will be many more options and functionality added in the future theme update, including buttons in this case.
Thanks
Hi,
There will have to be a header, to display the website logo and navigation menu. The header cannot be disabled.
The logo can be changed in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
The demo you have installed uses header style 11, this header style does not have a limit for the logo size. You can use any image size as logo.
You will have to create your own menu, based on your own categories for posts. Here is more information about creating the menu, and also the mega-menu option
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/
The revolution slider can be configured to display posts from the categories you want
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
So after setting the header and revolution slider as needed, you can go ahead and choose which block type, grid or full grid you want on the homepage. You can view them all as I mentioned in the live demo (Features menu).
First please check this tagDiv composer tutorial
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Blocks have many configuration settings, this is a guide where each is explained
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Modules that form blocks and grids will display the post title, additional post meta, and excerpt. The meta information can be disabled if you wish
– https://www.screencast.com/t/DF872Ac2sR
Excerpt length can be controlled as well – https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
When the module is clicked you will be directed to the post page, that is the intended functionality.
The baby blog demo consists of the revolution slider on top, then a latest articles section with a sidebar. The latest articles section is automatically added when the required page template is selected. More about it here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Posts will have to be created and published. Edit published posts and modify them if you wish. The tagDiv composer cannot be used to edit posts, it is a page editor.
Please correct me if I misunderstood something, and let us know if you need further help.
Thanks
I have exactly the same problem for the theme. Have made a fresh install but this does not help. the problem has become more acute since i have switched to tag dive composer instead of visual bakery
Hi,
I have the same problem with the Visual Composer buttons. Is it ok to have both composers (tagdiv and visual composer) activated until the update? And could you please estimate how long it would take to have these button elements in tagdiv?
Thanks
Hi Simion,
Thank you so much for this – I forgot to mention sorry I’m using the baby blog demo which I’m loving – it’s clinical like I wanted.
What I’m struggling to work out how to do (or find which of the elements it actually is) is have it set up how i’m trying to. For instance I’d like my home page for the moment to literally be no header, my logo, the rev slider, then two blocks for the content etc, the instagram below it, then the footer.
I was hoping that when you’re actually looking at the home page, it stays neat and almost at a glance so the two blocks will have their respective images on them with only one short paragraph underneath so the page doesn’t start looking busy or have two much content to scroll down. Once you then click the image/paragraph you’re then ‘taken’ to the content instead of it being on the homepage if that all makes sense?
It’s currently set up using big grid 4 I think so I’d managed to get the two images on there when I placed them from the elements menu, but once I started editing it, when I preview it it’s all on the actual home page rather than behind the image in the block as I’d hoped. Have I selected the wrong element?
I’m sorry for such basic questions! I have to say I’m also struggling to work out where’s the best place to edit the actual posts. It seems that you select the elements and layout from the TagDiv composer and then go into my wordpress admin page to actually edit the content – is this correct please? If in the TD composer page the blocks look how i want them to. If i go into the WP admin page and then save and preview after the text and images are altered it looks entirely different and is all on the home page as i mentioned above?
Solved, i had the tagdiv composer activated, with deactivating its back to normal!
Hi,
I believe the plugin author changed the name of the plugin
– https://www.screencast.com/t/UXodwmHdcnn
That is how it is called now, we cannot modify the name of the plugin.
You do not need to activate the page builder, please check this guide for more information
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thanks
Hi,
Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You could ask your hosting provider to make them for you, they might have a recommended method in this matter. Insufficient resources can cause issues like this.
After everything is set properly, create a new page or edit the homepage and check if the composer is working properly.
Thanks
Hi,
Generally these could be the possible causes for internal server errors
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/
Changing those parameters values should not cause a server error. Please deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and clear all caching installed. Then check if the composer is working properly, or there are any more errors.
Thanks
I have installed the Visual Composer plugin but when installing it becomes WPBakery Page Building and asks me to buy it for activation, when in the store the subject is informed that it is free, how can I activate it?

Hello ashishsahu,
I perfectly understand your problem. So, I guess that you do not understand how the mobile theme works. For example, your Contact Us page, on desktop appears like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/v2Rl3eWTn and when the theme is switched to the mobile theme, the Contact Us page appears like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xzrFZsmEtcqL, right? Your page is created using the Visual Composer elements which are not recognized by Mobile Theme and that’s why you do not bring anything for mobile mode, as I have explained you above. Please understand this effect. This is the default theme’s behavior and in that way, the mobile theme has been designed.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The individual settings for each block should apply after you remove that code in the demo stylesheet
– https://www.screencast.com/t/IqGCx3cw3q
– https://www.screencast.com/t/AwdGKUDHU
These individual settings should override the general header color set by the demo here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/j7KgXmfw3sEo
Try clearing that color in the theme color settings, edit the page with the composer and set the desired colors for the text
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YEDjyGDIGo4
The font properties for the block titles can be customized in the theme panel, there you can modify the font weight imported by the demo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/r9ApeCYsjU
Please let us know if there are further issues, or you have more questions.
Thanks
Hello bharatunit3d,
I have inspected your website and I noticed that your Footer menu still working but the problem is another one. You are using the Mobile Theme and your About Us and Contact Us page is made with Visual Composer or TD Composer and place notice that the Mobile Theme does not recognize any shortcode from these page builders, sorry! For more information about our Mobile Theme, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ So, if you want that your About and Contact Us pages to be available for Mobile Devices, you should remove the mobile theme and use the Default General Responsive mode.
Thanks for the message!
Hello Vjcoil,
Please keep in mind that you do not have the License for Visual Composer because this is a bundled plugin which comes with the theme core packet. First of all, check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Clear all the caches and check the results. For more information about Visual Composer and TD Composer, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thanks for the message!
