Hello,
Please do not use both page builders. The pages previously built with visual composer will have to be re-built using the tagdiv composer. You cannot edit a page built with one page builder using the other one as it will create issues.
Thanks.
Good Morning could you please help to solve these last issues ? thank you in advance
– how to turn on the ads in the pages (trying to do in ads section of theme panel bit without result – trying to use all 3 post template style)
– how to change the category of posts displayed in first section above the footer (it is not editable via TD Composer)

Hi,
There is no problem whatsoever, no need to apologize. The bottom line is that when the theme will receive the next update, the new updated version of Visual composer will be available in the theme package.
Thanks
Hello,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause some unknown issues. Try to disable all of them and leave just only of our tested plugins and check the results. Do you are simultaneously using the page builders? Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Please disable all plugins except the tagdiv composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
If you updated visual composer, please revert to the previous version as we have not yet made the implementation for visual composer 5.2
Thanks.

Hi,
You should be able to click on the Backend Editor button, to see the blocks (instead of the code) and other elements form Visual composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/o5K3logcfE
If you have a different problem please provide more details about the problem, and some useful screenshots if possible, so we can understand better.
Thanks
Hello juanca8888,
Please check the following documentation for more information about the transition between these both page builders, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
I am still stuck on the blank page with the tagdiv composer – how did you resolve it?
i cant find the TD composer full options, for an example i only can see up to 7/8 blocks…i cant see any social media links under css option (according to your 3 min tutorials)
is there any service for a complete installation with my desired page or set up?this theme is driving me crazy…
thanks in advance.
As the title says, is this not possible for now? The page disappears once i try to edit it.
Is there a fix for this?
I was editing my site all day yesterday without a problem. Today I can’t seem to one: get the blue button to show up so I can edit the page. two: when I try to enter into the tag editor from the top bar it gives me a white screen with a progress ring [ I have let that ring spin for 15min ].
You don’t have to activate the Visual Composer plugin, it’s already activated. Ignore the activation message. It will appear for everyone. You will get the latest version of Visual Composer in the next theme update.
How to update Visual Composer plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
I scanned with wordfence plugin and I’ve got this problem.
Critical Problems:
* This file may contain malicious executable code: /home/xxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_ajax.php
Hello vexteo,
Hi I search forum and find answer for activating problem:
You do not need to activate your copy of Visual Composer as it’s a free version bundled with the theme that does not require any activation. The only way you can activate it is to buy the plugin and receive a purchase code but you do not need to do that. It is mentioned here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thank you for your understanding!
And, that is ok, but I can’t update plugin, get this message:
There is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer available. View version 5.2 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?
Now, is there a way to update this plugin ?
Thanks,
Pavle
ok – great success 🙂 – it helped https://forum.tagdiv.com/blocks/
I still have some minor issues to solve :
– how to turn on the ads in the on the pages (trying to do in ads section of theme panel bit without result – trying to use all 3 post template style)
– how to change the category of posts displayed in first section above the footer (it is not editable via TD Composer)
Hello,
the TD Composer button is not show on my page, only the “live CSS” button. I have installed all plugins for the theme. Do you now what is the problem?
Hi all! 🙂
I’ve a problem whit my articles. I had an homepage made by Visual Composer and now i build a new homepage with tagDiv Composer. If I post a new article i see it in homepage only if I’m logged like admin, but if I do logout and become a guest I don’t see it anymore!
With Visual Composer homepage this doesn’t happen, i see the article like admin and guest.
Thank you,
Toni 🙂
Roll back to prior version temporarily?
Also note Visual Composer (VC) and TD Composer (TDC) are two different things, if using TDC, not all the VC blocks are there and you’ll need to redo any layouts done with VC.
( I don’t work here; just some feedback. )
We’re also using the TD Composer in place of Visual Composer; limit loading external elements; moved to web-safe fonts vs Google Fonts, disabled comments, etc., minified the main style css file and main js file.
I am using the ‘scripts to footer’ plugin in place of Speedbooster; and then put critical above the fold CSS inline in the head.
I cover some of this in my long winded thread (second link above).
Totally doable; there is just a “tweaking” needed with any complex theme.
Hi,
I just bought the Newspaper theme. Was very impressed with all the demos and training etc. So I switched to Newspaper, activated it in WordPress. Then I realised that all my posts were gone because BeTheme’s Muffin Builder and Visual Composer aren’t even slightly compatible. No problem, I have backups, I can rebuild the posts.
So I install a demo from the list and am impressed with the interface and start modelling the front page of the site using the extremely easy drag and drop. I didn’t change any settings or add any code..
Now my site won’t load.. I would include a screen shot but it is just a completely blank page in Firefox and in Edge I get ‘HTTP 500 error, That’s odd… the website can’t display this page’. I haven’t tried chrome or anything else but I am guessing the story will be the same.
Can anyone help please?
I am having the same issue as others – I updated Visual Composer, and all of the custom block sections are no longer there. The short code is present on the back-end editor, but the blocks do not render. I need these custom blocks as they are pervasive on the site.
Please advise on how to fix.
I did not realize that my tone was so harsh. Sorry for that. I did know that no more updates were released, but i need some of the new things in that, and just anxious wish to know how the process takes place.
As for the tag div composer, i already tested it, and used it on a couple of pages. But i use Visual Composer to integrate with another paid plugin (toolset), and for that layouts they’re got only integration with visual composer.
Hello,
I´ve purchased this great theme. But is there a way to copy a demo layout, so I don´t have to build it own my on with TD composer? I have several sites and would like to use the https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-newspaper/ design for it? Is there any way?
Best regards
I’m using an outdated Newspaper version right now, just haven’t gotten around to updating it ’cause I’ve made changes to the core files and need to back them up, etc. I’m also using an old Visual Composer — but I’d like to keep it that way because I’m using the now deprecated Tabs feature (which I want to keep). Am I at risk for losing the Tabs feature if I update Newspaper? Thanks.
I’m responding to my own messages here, as I learn more about how this theme is working, feel free to point any mistakes to me please 🙂
If I use the tagdiv builder, there are no page templates. The only way to copy your existing templates, is to install a demo WITH content (which will create the demo pages), and for the page I want the template of, simply copy its shortcode into a new page, and then edit that with tagdiv builder in the frontend.
If I want to load/save page templates, I need to use the visual composer builder, which will allow me to use an existing page template that you have from your demo. But then I am locked in using the visual composer for this page.
So if these two statements above are correct, and the pitch is that the tagdiv builder is a lot better, I need to install a demo with content, and copy-paste shortcodes from pages whose layouts I want to re-create in my site. Correct?
Is this pretty much it ? Have I got it right? 🙂
