WPBakery Visual Composer slowly. How can I speed ? HELP PLEASE!
You mean sites like this and these, right?
To be frank, I laughed when I read this post. It would be more than a waste of money, it would be very hard to adapt this theme to a single-page website. It’s designed for displaying blocks of articles, columns, sidebars, category headers, attractive search, various menus and footers, ads, etc. etc., all of which is useless for a single-page website. I’m not even sure you can easily adapt this theme to go full-width as most single-page website are. The one feature you could potentially make good use of is Visual Composer.
I don’t envy you. Dealing with a client who has no idea what his needs are is hell. I’m not staff, but my advice would be to try to convince the client to go with something sane. You’ll lose your mind trying to turn this theme into something unrecognizable.
Hi
@mhmtky Lucian replied you via dashboard.
@charlie_moreno That issue can be caused by theme’s lazy load animation, by a plugin or a minimized js. You can try to deactivate lazy load http://screencast.com/t/GoGXYNlIUdnW plugins also, leave just Visual Composer, disable any js compression tool if you’re using, clear the cache and test again. Also check in console if you have any errors.
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please provide a link so I can inspect this issue closer!
Thanks!
Hi,
Unfortunately the page doesn’t have different styles like posts, it has only 3 templates – http://screencast.com/t/Nje0k5syoR2H as the page template was not designed to work like post, the pagebuilder(add Visual Composer elements) is used more to create pages, sorry!
Thanks!
Hi pulung,
I have managed to access your site now and can seen the issues you refer too: http://screencast.com/t/Chs3AkL8 This can be caused by a plugin so make sure you also test this without any plugins active, first empty all caches then disable all of them leaving active just the Visual Composer plugin and test again.
If this is still happening afterwards please provide your admin login details via email at contact@tagidv.com so we can have a closer look at your issue. Please also include a link to this topic if you decide to send us your admin credentials via email.
Thanks
Hi,
Please check this also without any plugins active except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue with background color.
Also please note that the background color that you use on category page it will be applied also on posts from that specific category so make sure that you have set the same category(primary category) also for this posts – http://www.virtualmagie.org/articles/critiques/videomania/fucking-coins-de-philippe-bougard-clement-kerstenne/ – http://screencast.com/t/k9uOaRQ0IQ As I have checked this and Videomania category has a white background color – http://screencast.com/t/W5TaZ1ccY0w
Thanks!
Hi,
The page fonts will not be applied if the pagebuilder is used to create your page. If you use Visual Composer pagebuilder you have some options in Theme Panel > Theme Fonts for tagdiv block and modules – http://screencast.com/t/daHSTaz1q0 and for text content you can use Text block – http://screencast.com/t/f4qmS8Tq9
Please provide more details if this is not what you mean and also a link where you have an issue.
Thanks!
Hi there,
I’m trying to test Newspaper 6 on a staging site.
So far I’ve:
– Deleted old theme,
– Deleted Visual Composer
– Installed new theme
– Installed visual composer
– Run the update script
My problem is that I have literally hundreds of posts that use the shortcodes such as [quote_box_right][/quote_box_right]
These posts are now just showing the short code as plain text rather than converted to the new format.
Please help!
UPDATE: I found a workaround to this issue. Although it doesn’t change the original problem, I did figure out how to NOT disable the sidebar on pages with Visual Composer content.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/joke-no-sidebar-with-visual/#post-53451
Basically you add a line to the page.php file that tells the theme not to disable the sidebar on the default template, then you add the custom sidebar to the location specified on the page.
I’d still like to know what’s going on though, if you have an answer as to why my site isn’t saving sidebars.
Hi,
What version of visual composer plugin you use and how many posts/pages you have and also have you tried increasing the memory allocated to php limit: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
Also try to check the error.log file, it may contain something related to this issue.
Thanks!
Hi,
1. Please check widget settings, for tagdiv blocks you have the same filter settings like using pagebuilder(Filter Tab) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/ – http://screencast.com/t/VlXg3EJZgMI7
2. Not sure why you have this issue, please check this without any plugins active, leave only Visual Composer active, clear cache and see if it works. Also you can check browser console for errors when you expand the widget. It may be a server error, also you have to check the error.log to see if you can find something related to this issue. Let me know how it goes!
Thanks!
I have ran across a problem when working on pages. If i us the visual composer on the page the h(h1-h6) styling that I set up stop working. i know when using the VC it removes the title but in my case it is also removing the styling that I set up in the theme panel.
Hi
I still can’t find the issue on your site. Try to deactivate all plugins, except Visual Composer, clear the cache, browser cache also: https://kb.iu.edu/d/ahic purge cdn files if you use any and test again.
Let me know how it goes and if it still happens and provide more details so can I recreate this on my side!
Hi,
We provide updates on a regular basis, after we test the plugin for theme compatibility the plugin is included in the latest theme update, inside the /plugins folder, so you don’t have to buy it only if you want this(it is the same procedure with Visual Composer – if a new version of the plugin is available, it will be included in the next theme update).
You can find and install the speed booster plugin from /plugins folder in package that you have downloaded from themeforest – http://screencast.com/t/8UEW9HhqkQ
Thanks!
Hi,
You must have post views enabled from Theme Panel > Post Settings – http://screencast.com/t/MIVDUmqK then you can test it by editing a post and take a look at custom fields: http://screencast.com/t/mSiJvu61tGj then refresh the post a few times and check if it increments. If those values are changed when the post is viewed then 7 day sort should work properly and the post should appear to your block.
Please check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue. Let me know how it goes!
Unfortunately I cannot recommend any plugins as we did not tested any plugin like this with the theme, sorry!
Thanks!
Hi,
I’ve checked your post and you’re right, on iPhone 5 it doesn’t work. I’ve tried to replicate this on my side but i can’t, it works on all devices including iPhone 5. I suspect it may come from a plugin conflict or something you have on your page and it’s missing on my side. Try to disable all plugins, enable only Visual Composer and see if the issue is still there.
If this doesn’t help please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com , include a link to this conversation and provide wp-admin access so we can take a look.
Thank you!
Hi,
The theme allows shortcode (in post html editor or in the code) but you will have to create your warning message box using Visual Composer elements (for example in a text block), take the shortcode – http://screencast.com/t/FiPcJiIOjPSL and use do_shortcode function to add in the the template file(s) if you want to appear on all of your articles(as reference how this function is used) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/move-the-bottom-article-ad-spot-below-the-share-bar/ or past only the shortcode in the post content – http://screencast.com/t/TzjVXW1Q4Ul
Thanks!
Hi,
I’ve checked your post on google Structured Data Testing Tool and everything seems fine – http://screencast.com/t/spkwt60YnwGa – google ultimately decides if the post is considered a review and if the rating appears in their searches. You may have to wait some time for them to properly scan your post and display the ratings on searches.
I see you have some js errors on the console – http://screencast.com/t/xRbrg8fdZ9DY – i suspect they come from a plugin conflict, try to disable all plugins, enable only Visual Composer and see if the issue is still there. If it’s gone enable the rest of the plugins one by one until you find the one that’s causing this issue.
Thank you!

Hi
@Ramon Davi sorry for delay but we don’t work in week-end.
Try to deactivate all plugins, except Visual Composer, also remove all custom css, clear the cache and see if you still have this issue. If the problem persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your site login details so we can take a closer look at this issue, also include a link to this topic.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi,
Please disable all plugins, leave only Visual Composer active, also re-save your permalinks and clear cache. If you don’t have this issue anymore please activate your plugins one by one and see which one cause this issue.
If your issue is not solved you can send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-access so we can take a look, also paste a link to this topic so we can know who you are and what your issue is.
Thanks!
