I am using one of the demo content. It has two columns, the main and the sidebar. I don’t want to sidebar that long, so I tried to remove some content from it by deleting the elements in the box. However, since tagDiv composer is not all that user-friendly, I am having difficulties trying to find a way to remove some unwanted columns, boxes, spaces, etc. Please see the link below and let me know what I need to do, so I can continue using this theme.

Thank you for your reply! However, I cannot find this element in the tagDiv Composer. I have used the search function to find it. I am using the 12.3 version of Newspaper on wordpress version 6.1.1.

Thank you.

Bonjour,

Cordialement,

Use the ‘Single External Shortcode’ element of tagDiv Composer.

@Admin,

Since the last update of Newspaper, we have many issues on our website.
Most we have manage to resolve, but it seems that changes to the templates in composer don’t save,
The wheel keeps turning and exiting or refresh leads to loss of edited content.
How can we resolve this?

In my previous reply to you I indicated I had a fix – “Fixed it by using the “Flex Block 1” instead of the “Post Loop” to generate the thumbnail posts/images under the featured image (Posts Loop 2). I now realize this fix is not adequate as I have lots of categories, and would have to make a diff template for each one so that I could set the “Flex Block 1” filter to match the appropriate category.

I created separate templates and used my fix for the main post pages in my nav bar (Faces, Arts/Culture, Food/Drink/ Health, Style, Weekend Away, Outdoor Fun, Travel), but of course it is inefficient to do this for all of the Categories (see list here – https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vermbXNlLDelB_Fx1lBGPOxgBlnqQtfZ/view?usp=share_link).
• In my “fix,” the main post pages in the nav use Posts Loop 2 for the featured (large) image, and the “Flex Block 1” (set to the appropriate Category) for the thumbnail posts.
• The other Category post pages listed under More don’t have a featured (large) image. I use the “Flex Block 1” alone for the thumbnail posts. When I use the Posts Loop 2 to generate the featured (large) image and add the Posts Loop below it, it doesn’t work. When in the edit mode of the TagDiv Composer it appears to work, but when I pull up the live version of the site, the Posts Loop only shows 1 post, and even ignores the offset (set to 1). See here – https://bayarearegistry.com/category/travel/outdoors/. Pictured is Posts Loop 2 + Posts Loop + Flex Box 1. Flex Box 1 is the correct output.

I don’t see an option to edit Posts with the composer.

WHY isn’t the default font applied to body font? Should I edit each paragraph to apply the font?

Once again:
1. I have set the <p> default font
2. I’m adding a new Post and the font is not the default one
3. Why is that?

I can’t actually lol. When signed in and also when on TagDiv Composer, it shows the page correctly as such. And I can re-save the page but it still doesn’t fix the page

When plugins are activated, purging the cache is what usually fixes it, but then it messes up the template for the mobile template.

Thank you, so just to clarify. If I want to change font size on a Page, I need to go to each page using TagDiv composer to General, Style, Post Content and change the font size to for example 20. And there is no way I can change ALL Pages to font size 20 at the same time as in Theme Panel with Posts? I have to make the individual change on each Page?

Can I create a template I can use for each Page?

Hello!

I think you can correct it in the TagDiv Composer. Can’t you? Which element is that one?

Thank you!

Hello!

You should edit the pages with the TagDiv Composer, and change the font. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/

Thank you!

Hi, when I go to:

Theme Panel – Theme Fonts and change the fonts in Posts Title/Content it works.

But when I go to:

Theme Paneel – Theme Fonts and change the fonts in Page Title/Content it does not work. It does work when I create a Page using Classic Editor, but not with TagDiv Composer.

Do you know how I can change the fonts, and titles on all Pages like I did for Posts?

I also have the same issues when changing the font of the Menu in Theme Panel.. there is no change.

Hello!

In the cloud templates, you can add the ads when you edit the post with TagDiv Composer in the element called ” Single Post Content ” in the tab ADS. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
Or you can use the element called “Ad box” from TagDiv Composer, and there you need to add the ads: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/

Yes, you need a SEO plugin. We recommend using the Yoast SEO plugin: https://yoast.com/show-x-in-search-results/

Thank you!

Hi, I understand how to make Sidebar for Pages (https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/), but are there any video tutorials on how to make the Sidebar for Posts since I can’t use TagDiv Composer for Posts, only Pages?

Hi,

You need with tagDiv Composer, like in the video https://i.imgur.com/L4WfJz5.jpg

Thank you!

Hello @ngotuannghia!

You should look up headers and see which ones you like; you can also build it from scratch if necessary. There you won’t find a default style number. They have names from the demos. Please check out this video about how to create a website from scratch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg

We recommend using cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features, Please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:

Hello Renato!

Do you see it when you edit the page with the TagDiv Composer?

Thank you!

Bettina

Hello Renato!

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

Make sure you do not use Mobile theme plugin, if you use the mobile option 1 or 2.

Thank you!
