Hello,

Unfortunately, you can only hide them for mobile theme
.td-icon-mobile:before {
display: none;
}

.td-icon-search
{
display: none;
}

Set the code in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> Custom code.
If you used mobile page or mobile responsive you can delete them with tagDiv Composer.

Thank you!

Hello!

If you’re pictures have those dimensions and when you upload the image, you choose full size and also in Composer the settings are correct, then you should have no trouble with that.

Hello,

When you disable the auto loading option, it will apply for both mobile and desktop, you can not disable it only for mobile.
You can disable the option the Auto Loading on the Single Post Template edit with tagDiv Composer -> Show site wide settings => https://www.screencast.com/t/4RnV1CnxiuA

Thank you!

So I tried visiting theme panel categories and selecting the no template option. I then looked at one of the categories to see if the sidebar option would appear but no field appeared. I then went back to the post editor for the post and selected the correct sidebar to see if toggling off the template option via the theme panel would allow the sidebar field in the post to work and still nothing. Same sidebar.

I am using the revenant theme. I visited the tagdivcomposer button and it takes me to the front end. I tried readding the sidebar widget and selecting the correct widget and clicked saved. I visited the page in another window and can see the sidebar working. But this doesn’t quite solve it for me.

I need a different sidebar for each post. If I add the widget sidebar via the tagdiv composer, it adds the sidebar to every post.

I need a separate sidebar for each post.

Please advise.

Hello!

Please edit the page with TagDiv Composer, make sure here isn’t any option selected and is looking like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/LpmoNZWy
Or you can delete the element called ad box.

A solution for sending a screenshot is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.

Hope that helps you!

Hello!

When you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version.

Thank you!

Hello!

Edit your homepage with TagDiv Composer and check if you have some empty columns and delete them. Also, check the element’s settings. Check all the pages where you have that gap and see if there is a setting for that.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Hello,

If you use WP Bakery, then please disable it.
There is a conflict between tagDiv Composer and WP Bakery.
So, I gladly recommend you to shift from WPBakery to Composer, because WPBakery is an old builder plugin.
Please check our guide to know how to shift from WPBakery to Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
tagDiv Composer contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Thank you for understanding!

Hello Jean!

Follow this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHdiOTxBZzE
You can copy-paste the code into a “Column text” or “Text with title” element. Those elements you should add with TagDiv Composer. Please make sure you have a cloud template and not a default one for your homepage.
Please try and let me know the results!

Hi foreclosurepedia ,

Please try to not reply multiple times in the topic if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.

I will try to explain how our theme is working with Quote, this should work with the classic editor too.

Like Anamaria show you in that vide, the Quote can be edited from backed and it will display on frontend like you set it in backend. Also if there are no changes made on it by default in editor it will be display blue and uppercase (on frontend the color will be the one set for the accent color in the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/mJF2y5H.png -> https://i.imgur.com/D6zeETF.png) also if you are using a single post template you can adjust it from here https://i.imgur.com/OrHMqoz.png using tagDiv Composer.
Now if you want to edit those that by default to be display different in backend not only on frontend, then yes you must edit this in theme files.
If you use the Gutenberg plugin then for the backend the code that need to be edited is this one chttps://i.imgur.com/nhTQfi2.png for classic editor the file is this one https://i.imgur.com/3IxbpFM.png

Hi,
It looks that for the moment the website it is in maintenance mode https://i.imgur.com/WbU8rWm.png and it can not be accessed to see the video.
Also I understand that you have the pulse pro pre-build website installed -> https://i.imgur.com/tZmyn4c.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/dEd3xfR.png here is a video that can help you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo
Also since the pre-build website that you have it is a Pro it is full editable with tagDiv Composer -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-use-tagdiv-cloud-library-templates/

Number of Comments for each article does not show up on home page
Theme: Newspaper (tagDiv)
Website: https://covertactionmagazine.com

Description:
1. In Newspaper Theme panel, “show comment count” is toggled ON. Correctly, comment count displays on each post.
2. In PAGES (where front page is), using “Edit with tagDiv Composer,” Flex Bloc 1, Layout, Date/Comment section, SHOW COMMENT is toggle “SHOW,” BUT DOES NOT SHOW.
3. No matter what color text or background chosen in STYLE

Other toggles work, like Author pic, Author name, Color text, Color background etc., even for Category etc. all work. THE ONLY THING THAT DOES NOT WORK IS TO SHOW COMMENT NUMBER ON FRONT PAGE where articles are listed.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hello!

Please make sure you selected “No template” in order to have those settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/uKmdHSaBtRt
The settings from theme panel are referring to the default templates and not for the pro ones which can be edited with TagDiv Composer. If you use a cloud template for your categories, then you can add the sidebar widget with TagDiv Composer.

Thank you!

Hi,
Sorry for the late answerer, for the moment we do not work in weekends!
Now about the flex blocks, the image on those are set on default, but in case that you install a pre-builder website, then the image size can be changed.
Also if you have a Pro pre-build website, this is made using tagDiv Composer and cloud templates. Also in this case the logo need to be changed using the theme builder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo
Thank you!

Hi,
Yes, there were some changes, here is the article about this https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
The theme version that you use is very only, it is over 4 years. Since then there are a few things that were changed and added, for the example tagdiv Composer that it is now the theme builder.
I recommend to make the theme update on staging or localhost and try to accommodate with the new version and make sure that everything is working and only after that update the main website but not before to be sure that you have a full backup.
Thank you!
