Dear Bettina,
The issue is still there. And as I have written above the header is global.
I ran the CSS analyzer but I have no idea how to use the results of that analyzer, I don’t understand what it is for.
I will send an email now to the email address that you mention.
Thanks!
Hello!
There is a default header template. Please try to add this CSS code in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Custom code -> Custom CSS:
.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0!important;
}
Thank you!
Hello, I have multiple pages on my website that pretty much acts like regular blog posts. How do I create a custom page and connect in the newspaper dashboard? Just like you would do on the header, single, homepage, etc.
Hello,
1. For header layout, I made a test for the header style that you use, and for me, there are no style changes => https://www.screencast.com/t/C0OxYcq0 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jNWfqnZGQp, please try to uninstall, remove and re-install the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin, and try to make a test on a staging website using only tagDiv plugins and see if the problem persists.
2. For the link on the logo, if you have a Standard Header Template, then you can’t achieve that, but if you use a Header Template from Cloud Library, then you can choose if you want to set a link on the logo or if you don’t want.
3. Unfortunately, if you remove a menu, it will not appear on one of the used versions, for example, if you delete the one on the mobile, then you will not have a menu for the mobile version.
Thank you!
Hello,
Yes, when you make changes to the desktop, the other viewports will inherit the changes, but you can select each viewport separately to change the header, something like this https://we.tl/t-s75DFMWB20
Thank you!
Hello,
bI just checked your website and it looks that your images and thumbs are not optimized, for example, you can use EWWW Image Optimizer plugin, also, you can try other plugins like Autoptimize. Your website needs an optimal speed that’s why you need to make some settings also to help for the improvement.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/optimize-script-to-improve-site-speed/
– https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
– https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view.
Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
By the way, we have such a great result with this new update and with our new tool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
Our tool is running only on normal pages and not for posts or categories for example.
“This custom tool performs an automatic test to find missing CSS rules applied by user interaction. Moreover, you can manually interact with a chosen section/component from the page while the tool records all the involved CSS. It will generate the final CSS file for this page and also will split the rules in Critical CSS to be loaded in the website’s header.” ( https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/ )
Our tool is running only on normal pages and not for posts or categories for example.
Also, if the errors appear on mobile you need to use a version as I said above.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!

Hello,
To remove the sign in from mobile please go in Theme Panel -> Header -> Sign in/ Join ann disable the option => https://www.screencast.com/t/bRsMhYYu7V8
Also, for social if you want you can hide it, or remove it from Theme Panel -> Social Networks.
To hide them, you can use this custom code =>
#td-mobile-nav .td-menu-socials-wrap
{
display: none;
}
This code needs to be set in Theme Panel> Custom code> Custom CSS.
Thank you!
The theme is hard-coding lots of H3 and H4 attributes on the page. For example, on this URL:
https://banneradviser.com/unplugged-wedding-ceremony-signs/
these other posts like DIY Garage Sale Sign, Leave A Reply, Related Posts, Related Articles are all H3 and H4, which hurts on-page SEO.
H3 The 13+ Best Home Sweet Home Signs
H3 How To Make A DIY Garage Sale Sign
H3 LEAVE A REPLY Cancel reply
H4 RELATED ARTICLESMORE FROM AUTHOR
H4 Recent Posts
And using the Detailed SEO extension, it’s showing that all these unrelated posts are tagged as H3s and are appearing before the H1:

Hello,
1. There is a big difference in the header and the menu between your two photos of the search page. See your photos on the previous message.
2. The site title (dmepp) and the sub title (dépenser moins et profiter plus) are linked to the home page. I want to remove this twice link (title+subtitle) by all the pages of the website. And specificaly in the home page, because this make an infinite loop very bad for seo.
3. You say : There are two menus in the theme because one is used for the desktop version and one for the mobile version. How i can remove this ?
I’m using Header date widget, but it won’t translate to Ukrainian. My WP Core is Ukrainian, strings in pomo files are ok.
I even tried to play around class tdb_header_date extends td_block:
date_i18n(get_option('date_format'))
Still shows me English date instead of Ukrainian

Hi
An obvious gap occurs between the banner and the header while my home page is loading.
Please watch this video: https://youtu.be/wi9aQlkzbzc
You can check it yourself. Site url: prodimarc.com
While my homepage is loading, I dont want any gaps to occur like your dentist demo (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_dentist/)
Please help me to solve this problem.
Hello,
In the new update, new implementations have been made for Google page speed and now, the width and height for images must be displayed, and on a standard template if you use SVG it will have width and height 0 (if you want you can use a stronger CSS to set these dimensions manually):
.td-main-logo img { width: 100%; }
our recommendation is to use a cloud header where you can upload SVG and set the dimensions => https://www.screencast.com/t/yVhxp0c6yf
Thank you!
Hello,
You can use the standard header from Theme Panel, for this you need to have the Standard Pack plugin, but in the new update, this plugin is no longer required because the new demos are using cloud templates.
Also, you can use a header template from Cloud Library, and you can customize it with tagDiv Composer. => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo
Thank you!
Hello,
You can change the header background image with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/9NCnIaZERkh select the row on the header menu and in the tab called “CSS” you can add/remove the Background Image => https://www.screencast.com/t/fwWK3AvGyA
If you don’t mean this, then please provide me with more details and screenshots.
Thank you!
Hello.
I would like to make changes to the header or use the mobile header for screens that are smaller than laptops, like iPads.
Is there a way to do that ?
i have recently bought newspaper themes and i don’t see any customize header in theme panel. when i click theme panel, it display only blank space
Vlad, as I said the issue is present even when Super Cache and the optimization you advise are on, and also when the site performance has improved. https://imgur.com/ByhH9ta
The transient grey appears only on the homepage anyway
https://imgur.com/3PX6Q0h
Can you possibly help me out to remove the gray stripe just under the header. I thought It was a border issue, but I am unable to erase it

Thanks for your patience
Hi, I need to edit or change the image in the header template. I cant find the option on the TagDiv Composer.
Please help. Thanks.
Hi,
after I updated my site from 10.3.X to 10.4 my Header Logo on Desktop just disappeared. I had added it via theme panel “Logo & Favicon” and it was never an issue to use SVG there. Till now. On mobile the Logo seems to display properly. My site: https://dreamcounter.de/
Any advice?
Thanks!
Hello Support,
I’m getting an issue on a cloud template I created for Cat pages.
everything’s fine until I click on a sub category, the templates loads ok, but the header menu color settings are going back to this blue default color…
can’t find out why..
Here is the demo site cat page:
https://trends.caroliregie.com/category/beaute
and the sub cat page which is bugging (blue color on menu and sub menus)
https://trends.caroliregie.com/category/beaute/bien-etre/
the header is of course global, and in other pages I dont meet this issue.
Many thanks
Robin.
Hello, I am using software that removes the ccs from the page to actually see what the page looks like for google or exploration robots. This is why the rendering is not the same, nothing to do with the caching. I have already removed caching and used other browsers. the problems remains the same.
So can you tell me:
– How to remove the link to the home page on the header ?
– Why is the layout of the search page when there are no results different? and how to solve the problem?
– Why does the menu appear twice on the page (not directly visible, visible only if the ccs is removed) and how to keep only one menu instead of two?
Hello !
You will have to edit the header using tagDiv composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/T6OgKmF1
Thank you!
Hello!
Normally it should display correctly, because I tested and it is working well.
Please add once again the video embed in your article and make sure you add this one: https://prnt.sc/10d0w5n
