Thanks for your reply. I have gone through these topics and they are not related to the issue I pointed above.
I have duplicate title tags and duplicate meta description on my homepage due to google seeing the sub pages on my website http://www.mywebsite.com/page/2/ … etc. as duplicate. seen on the screenshot above.
I have only one SEO plugin which is Yoast.
Similar topics like this are all over this forum but no serious attention and fix has been provided for this problem. the past 3 months i have lost over 65% of my traffic due to this issue and it keeps getting worst.
It would be nice of your team would take this issue very serious and investigate how to fix it permanently

Don’t edit the demo posts, create your own posts. If in the future you decide to uninstall the demo or install a different one, the demo posts and pages will be removed

Create new pages or edit the homepage provided with the demo (note what is said above), and add what you want want from the available elements in the tagDiv composer, grids, blocks etc. These will display your posts, configure them as you want. Editing a page is possible from many places

Be sure to set featured images or videos for the posts so the theme can create thumbnails from them (these are the images that represent the post in blocks/grids)

That message you are receiving will not cause any problems. It can appear when changes have been made to the page in the backend.

I’ve updated the “Social Networks” section in the theme panel, but I am still seeing undefined social networks on the homepage here specifically:

These 4 social icons are not connected to anything and just show ahref=#
But the social networks I did change and save in the theme settings work fine in the header and footer.
How do I update those social networks links, and remove the youtube one?

I’ve installed the Video News them for Newspaper and been experimenting with editing the front page. There’s a section at the bottom that shows the most recent posts and a sidebar which I can’t remove. The visual editor will not allow me to select it. Same for the footer.
Where/how do I edit these components?

I have resolved the duplicate title tag with this code provided by tagdiv team:

But my site still have duplicate meta description because %%page%% yoast code is not working on newspaper theme only in homepage.
My site ranking now is down because of this issue.. 🙁

I know this issue has been answered here severally but the solution provided by Yoast has not worked for me yet. I applied the yoast fix almost 3 months now and the issue remains the same.
I have issue with duplicate Duplicate title tags and Duplicate meta descriptions on my home page. I have added the variable %%Page%% to both title and description but the issue is still not resolved after 3 months

Seems the top grid is the last to load indeed. Does the same happen if you deactivate all plugins excerpt theme plugins? This is worth a try, a plugin could cause this problem. Then test again to see if there is a difference.
Also consider to regenerate the thumbnails, seems the full size of the image is used in the theme modules, they should e thumbnails. This will lead to bigger page sizes and slow loading times (the homepage has almost 10 MB – http://prntscr.com/mdqqx7). Here is a guide

appear just before the related articles block on Newspaper.
It disappears when I disable the “More articles box” MORE ARTICLES
Enable / Disable.
How to fix this problem?

You mean the demo content when you install the demo with content? Start from the top for example, with the header. Set your own log and menu, configure the header with your own data. The homepage which is provided when the demo is installed with content can be edited with the tagDiv composer, each element in it can be customized

In order to edit the homepage you need to edit the page with tagDiv Composer and edit the page, if you set for homepage a widget will appear only down in page if you are using latest articles.

I am not that tech savvy and yet my tech savvy support person did not seem aware of the new Gutenberg editor when I was horrified to see all my backend editor suddenly change when we did an update! I have reverted back to classic editor for posts for now but what has happened to my homepage template? From the front end it all looks the same – sections, images, sidebar etc, but in the backend it is just a blank page. I need to edit the home page urgently – change some titles link to different categories and so on but there is nothing to edit on the backend. Nobody seems to know why but this must be to do with the Gutenberg thing. Any advise at all please? Thank you.
So, recently I switched from WPBakery composer to TD Composer. All was fine on a test installation, but now that it’s active on the main site TD Composer doesn’t confirm that changes are saved. It does save changes, but does not confirm it, just keeps spinning. Now that’s not a life-or-death issue, just thought that I would mention it. Memory allocations are well over the requirements so I don’t think that’s a problem.
Also, I transferred the new homepage by copy-pasting shortcodes from the test installation to the live one. The first time I brought up TD Composer it told me that “current page was not created by TD Composer”, but only then – there were no warnings later on.
I noticed that the page has two custom fields added. The first one is “tdc_content” and it appears to be a copy of the content. The second one is “tdc_dirty_content” and that says 0. Is that normal behavior?

You will have to create a new page with the tagDiv composer or with the WPBakery page builder, and set it as homepage. Simply installing the theme will not change the homepage

Hello, I just installed the newsmag theme but the old layout and theme is is still there when I go to the homepage. How do I get the homepage to show the new newsmag layout? I installed the Default demo if that helps.
