It seems the block margins and padding are causing this. Please check your homepage blocks again under design options and remove any margins or padding applied to them. Also please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files to rule out a plugin conflict.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have 2 sidebars, sorry! You can use the 3 columns using the Visual Composer for posts pages, like as on homepage but not for category pages. Please notice that the VC on posts is not tested.

I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the Mobile theme. So, please keep in mind that the Mobile theme is an additional plugin and behave in another way than the default mobile responsive mode. The mobile theme has a very basic structure with 2 modules Big Grid Mob 1 and Mob 2 for latest articles for homepage and for posts pages will show all the content.

Unfortunately, our theme has not been designed to use 2 main menu for homepage, sorry! Please notice that is not an easy way to do this and if you want to achieve this, you will have to make some additional customizations through code that involve custom work. So, if you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry! Another alternative for you, in this regard, would be to find some plugins with this functionality and see how it will work with the theme.

The homepage when you are using the mobile theme will display you a Big Brid with 3 posts which come from your Featured Category sorted by latest and not RANDOM and then you will see the latest articles which display all the latest posts. Also, please notice that the mobile theme will do not render any Visual Composer shortcode than just only these two ->Big Grid Mob 1 and Mob 2 for latest articles modules. For your Page X and Page Y, you will do not get any content because you do not add it in Mobile Editor like this -> http://screencast.com/t/JRHwMcXY
On our video here -> http://screencast.com/t/BwWcHpUNk we wanted to highlight the sticky menu functionality. As you can see, there appear some blocks but it’s only for default mobile mode and not for the mobile theme because, at the moment, mobile theme does not render the blocks. On the future, we will make some improvements in this regard and we will add more option for our mobile theme because now it has very basic structure.
Unfortunately, we cannot say for sure where it is will be because this will depends only by our developers.
So, if you are not happy with our mobile theme and customizability for it, you can simply disable the mobile plugin and the theme will be switched to the normal/default mobile mode.

As for the H2, you can force modules and blocks to use h2 instead of h3(used now) by altering this file: http://screencast.com/t/b99NP2Mu

I suppose that you are using the pagebuilder+latest articles+pagination as a page template for your homepage, right? So, if you want to get rid of it this, please notice that you will have to switch to another page template. If you set your homepage to just show the latest post, you cannot customize it in visual composer. You can only chose the module you want it to display from here: http://screencast.com/t/SQEG8f8T
You cannot have both. WordPress does not have multiple homepages. It;s either a static page or the latest posts blog style homepage.

If you want to replicate the design form the other website, you need to use another block on the homepage that comes closer to the one in the other site. you can see different block templates here: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
As for the header, you will have to use one of the 3 full logo styles: 9, 10 or 11. The logo could need a few adjustments in css for responsiveness though to eliminate the top padding. If you provide a link to your site I could help with the css to some extent.

I’m not sure exactly how you want to show one latest post, but for each page you can set a homepage post element like so: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-one-top-post/ or use any other block you prefere and set the post limit to 1 from the block settings
