If you used the wordpress export tool – https://codex.wordpress.org/Tools_Export_Screen it is specified that the export file will contain posts, pages, custom post types, comments, custom fields, categories, tags, custom taxonomies and users, so you must install and activate the required plugins again, from the full theme package that you downloaded from themeforest.

Dear Creators,
I am writing this after testing and trying some possible plugins based on my hosting provider constraint. Is it possible to test additional – maybe top 5 cache plugins and suggest the steps for configuration.
Cache plugins – WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache, WP Fastest Cache etc are not permitted on my Godaddy hosting.
I tried Comet Cache – but Pagespeed always keep showing to use Caching. Now using Cache Enabler (KeyCDN) and also enabled (WP_Cache, true) in wp-config file. The Theme Status message is still showing:
> No caching plugin detected – for best performance we recommend using WP Super Cache
I have caching enabled from Cloudflare already.

First of all, please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme. Otherwise, you have to take the latest version of it from Theme Forest and install it via FTP way on your domain. Remove the old version and install it the latest one. Also, you have to use only the required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.

Unfortunately, we have not encountered this type of error and also, we do not have any bad reports in this regard, until now, sorry! I suggest you installing the theme again via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard and if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.

Please install the required plugins from the full theme package that you downloaded from themeforest – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/ for the proper functionality of the theme, especially Visual composer plugin because it is essential . Then you can install demos without any problems.

I suggest you try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer to rule out a plugin or plugin conflict that may be causing this and also clear your cache to see if the problem is still there. I installed the demo, load individual page themes using visual composer and then updated the individual blocks with specific content. I think it was easier than rebuild complete page block by block – maybe later when there is enough content to prioritize and show recent entries.

I have checked your source page and I noticed that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. The images are not showing on a fresh installation. I installed it on a new wordpress installation. I have tried all the suggestions, except I didn’t downgrade the Visual Composer Plugin since I am not sure if that is possible since the plugin came bundled with the theme.

You do not follow the right steps in your theme installing. Hi – I’ve installed your theme today on http://www.takethekids.co.uk – I’m really happy with it but I would like your help with a minor issue.
The font in the main menu is not quite as the demo. It’s larger, and initially loads before resetting to a slightly different position. This looks clumsy..
Also, the titles for the top two picture articles (my site-The battle for picasso, demo-dreaming about mandarin’s) are different. The demo has a bolder look which i Prefer
Also,the titles for all other articles on the homepage have the same issue.
Obviously one issue that is impacting on all – if you coudl take a look and let me know how to resolve that would be awesome – thanks in advance 🙂

In order to get to know the theme before setting it live, I tried to play with it on a develop environment. After installing the theme, I imported the “black” template and the first thing I tried to do was to change the background. I started with this tutorial. But I am facing some difficulties I am trying to describe below – with screenshots.
This is the default one, that comes after importing your content.
This is what I am trying to achieve. Screenshot just to make it clear. Please note that the footer didn’t change it’s color and the header menu didn’t shrink, but stayed 100%.
This is what happens when using the functions provided in the theme. Note: I set the background color to green. Same happens when I try to upload a picture.
Please note the header shrinked (not 100% anymore), the footer changed etc

I wanted to add some suggestion for future development, which you can work on if you consider it appropriate for time and resources.
The idea is for including WebP images option / plugin into the theme. I tried to install Optimus Plugin from KeyCDN and also Cache Enabler plugin from KeyCDN to have compatibility. But when I select the option to load the WebP file into the Media folder, I cannot select the file.
“abc00001.webp” has failed to upload.
Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.
So if possible, please see if you can integrate the WebP functionality into the theme in future. It is important as news site has many images and it is important for more visitors and also for site speed and SEO.

I have tried everything I can do but unable to make the theme look like the Demo (after installing demo content), deleting old Page Builder, deteted demo content and re-installed again etc.

When uploading images the panel says “http error”. Reinstall the theme, it worked for a few hours and then the same error

I have Newspaper v6.6.5 installed in my WP v4.6.3. I have noticed that each time that it happens to edit the template settings in options table in DB, then template settings reset. I lose all settings. It doesn’t matter even if nothing has been changed: I just open the record of the template settings, copy paste the json for, let’s say safe keeping, click Save and that’s it: everything is lost.
Now, i have also noticed settings reset only after have I refreshed the site. Somehow, there must be a line of code in WP/Newspaper template that reset the settings should someone have modified the db record.
Any help? it’s really annoying and frustating, I have the json in my notepad and I can’t just copy paste it back in the options record, it gets lost by the time I refresh the page.
