I’ve just installed the Default Demo. There’s lots of html text on the home page. How can I get rid of it?
It’s found just above each section.

Thank you about care.
It turned out that it was necessary to install the necessary plug-ins and that arranging everything in front page, so now all is ok with that issue.
Today I am working on next steps to adjust page for project and after some moments certainly will be other issues with translations, blok titles and so on… 🙂

Not sure as I’m not sure what is causing this. But if this is still happens when using an default wp theme then it could indicate that this happens due to WordPress so you can also test this on a fresh WordPress install before you install any plugins and see how it goes.

You can try to backup your current child theme files, install the latest version provided with the theme files and see if you still have this issue, then add your customized files and see if it works. You will have to check the update log file and see what files were modified from the last version that you used. It is normal if a file was changed to have some issues if this is overwritten by child theme file.

Tech demo is installaded, then I modified it with my custom settings. I removed the default logo and I re-add my own logo after (This one http://www.48horasbadajoz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/logo-2015-header.png ).
In footer section is ok. This is the same logo than the logo in header section, but it can’t be displayed.

Do you have Tech demo installed? Please check in Theme Panel > Header section what logo image do you have – http://screencast.com/t/z51pFqlJfYW Also please note that if you have tech demo installed and you will remove it, you will have to re-add you logo image.
As you can see in footer section is displayed your logo – http://screencast.com/t/BMx70SUpBH so please also check header.

You can uninstall the demo and all articles,images, settings.. added will be removed and your settings will be on default, you will have to set menus(your menu will not be deleted, just you need to select them again), logo..
Also you can install a demo stack without the content – http://screencast.com/t/qa3Eyba3ch79 so it will be imported only fonts, colors used in that style.

Yes, you install version 4 on a localhost or on a test site install Cafe stack and adjust your settings manually for version 6 to look like that.

From my theme panel page, it shows the current version is Newspaper 6.2, not 6.2.1.
And My homepage now does not contain any H1 and H2 headings.

I have done like you said:
* activated theme twothousandfifteen: same issue
* activated theme Newspaper 6 (since I am runing child theme): same issue
* deactivated the only plugins that I had installed (MCE Table Buttons, Visual Composer Widgets, Widget Builder) since I noticed this problem: same issue
This is definately not specific from my browser or machine since my customer has the same problem. Perhaps this is a stupid question but… could this be done by the server?
I can provide you the FTP and admin credentials so you can take a look if you want to. It’s not a live site yet so you can do whatever you want, I have backup copies. In that case, the only thing I need to know is when you are doing something there so that I don’t work with the site, so we don’t override each other’s work.
So… any other suggestions?

Hello I waited a while to upgrade to newpaper 6. Just starting to do it now and we love it thank you. Here is an issue I cannot fix. In the themes provided the layouts provided none of the spacing is correct. For example in this screenshot http://www.gomerblog.com/pics/screenshot.jpg I clearly have a 2/3 1/3 column and yet it places the 1/3 below. This is a fresh install I have no custom CSS and I disabled all the plugins and still get this. Please help thank you.

I want to know if it’s possible to get statistics of ads that are put from Theme Panel. I don’t want to use another ads management plugin, so I think the tool of the theme is very interesting in order to show ads in different zones of the web. And I don’t want to install a lot of plugins. I only want to know the number of clics or impressions.
If it isn’t possible, what is your suggestion? You have ad settings in the Theme Panel, but the tool is, in this case, incomplete. Is planned an improvement of it?

I have bought the previous version actually. How about I install the previous version back with cafe layout and then upgrade the theme to 6.0 . would i loose any design or content in the new version? Is it possible to upload the two version of the theme at the same time? Is there a way around this rather then setting the site look like cafe style manually..

I followed the instructions to update to version 6 too. The problem is, that it is not really an update, it is installing another, supposedly better version by overwriting the new version. A lot of settings (such as menus and sidebars) did not migrate, which has to be adjusted manually. I was not able to configure the big slide header the way I had it on the previous so I decided to go back to v4.
I would consider upgrading again to v6 when it is really an update and I can choose which features I want changed on my blog or not.
