Hi janne-l, the theme it can not be updated it self, only if you use some options from WordPress or host to check the updates and set theme on automatically. Those 2 links I provided were an example of me mentioning that this issue does not happen in my test install.

I see now that it does however happen on your website https://prnt.sc/vklli4
I thought it was because of the apostrophe itself, it seems to look like this https://prnt.sc/vkltkx while typing it should be like this https://prnt.sc/vkluxz
That doesn’t solve it however.

It seems to be something with the font used, very unusual. If I change the font the space is gone https://prnt.sc/vkm41d and if I change it back it reappears https://prnt.sc/vkm2tq

Could you maybe consider using the default Noto Serif font instead of the traditional Chinese version? That seems to solve it, and there aren’t many differences between them. I have set that one at the moment, please check and let me know.
