Hello Everyone
Google recently released a lazy load plugin for wordpress.
This is necessary to make the site work with the native lazy load functionality on Chrome.
Since we need to be extra careful while installing the plugins on the Newspaper my question to support is if this plugin has been tested for compatibility yet? If yes can we use it?
Also has anyone else used this plugin? If yes what has been your experience.

Did you use some builder that can encode the text inside the post?

I am currently facing some strange problems with tagdiv composer which I have’t had before.
I haven’t install or update any plugins. Tagdiv worked fine a week ago. Now I couldn’t save the template (not be able to right click) And when I try to save after editing. Sometimes it didn’t show content save just the header saving notification. But it actually saved. Any idea?

My issue is resolved now. Actually its problem with the browser and not with wordpress or newspaper theme. When you will open your admin dashboard in opera or firefox it wont be showimg the same error..
So what i did..!
I just left it as it was. But suddenly few days back the problem resolved on its own..
If you cant wait for fix on its own i would recomend you to reinstall the browser.

just bought your awesome theme and have a question about registering my theme.
Madmag.de. is the main site, where I want to install the theme after all tests and configurations are finished. To do all the config stuff I use my (htaccess password protected) site at vivamad.de. In order to test and configure all features I have to register the theme on my staging site vivamad.de.
Is it possible to register the theme first on vivamad.de and after successful configuring move the license to my mein site madmag.de?

I’m using the Ultimate Member plugin which has an option under General>Users>User Display Name and which I set to First Name & Last Name.
Before changing that setting and with the UK plugin installed I did not have this issue. The login menu showed the user’s username.
Now, I changed that option back to the default WP display name option and when I register a new user with no name and last name, the username appears on the login menu.
With this setup though, the article author byline shows the username of the author which I do not want.
So, the issue here is:
1. I don’t mind having shown the username instead of first and last name in the login menu as it is the standard.
2. I want to show the first name and last name in the author byline instead of the username. I can manually do this by changing the WP user option for each author, but that is not ideal.
I hope this information is useful.

I installed the Yoast SEO plugin, but it seems it can’t read the words of the post I assigned a single template to. Yoast says that “the text contains 0 words. This is far below the recommended minimum of 300 words. Add more content.”

I have recently installed newspaper 9 with the LA MODE fashion demo which has a login area at the top. Is it possible to swap it with an image e.g? I tried deleting it but it deleted the logo too.
There is a lot of space underneath the date and login; I would love to add an image button; is that possible?

Please keep in mind that all the theme’s files which are downloaded from Theme Forest has been fully tested and should works as expected, without any problems. If you get this security alert it seems that your the problem is on your side or dedicated server. Notice that in terms of the theme there is no problem with viruses. Try to make a new fresh install from scratch to another sub-domain for testing and check the results.

Hi there, i just bought 1 Regular license (Newspaper) and installed Newspaper to my WordPress site with all required Plugins, but after active divTag Composer plugin my site showed “Bad gateway – nginx” then i had refresh my site and it showed “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”. So i renamed the tagDiv Composer plugin in my server through Putty and my WordPress site word normally. Hope to get help !

I think that you are referring that you have a regular demo and you want to install a PRO demo, for this you’ll need to have the Newspaper theme v9.8 and make sure that all theme plugins are installed and activated.

Hi, I reinstalled newspaper 9 “City News” due to this issue and 1 other issue, NO Plugins what-so-ever.
1. Logged-in users get my “custom” color(#174970 blue), users NOT logged-in(revert to default RED color) so please don’t blame it on plugins.
2. I Cannot change color in the header, Desktop changes but mobile does not. Also, the “home page” stays at default RED color on mobile, however when you click on an article color changes to the customer color I picked(#174970 blue).
3. I have read some of the posts here on the forum, your support reps state that is mostly “custom” Demos, does that mean that a normal user with reasonable WordPress skills cannot reproduce the page unless they are a web developer? .css ninja?

Hello! I use the demo (News Magazine – demo ID: magazine | install type: full) but I would like my logo (PNG image) in red on the screenshot to take up all the space and occupy the part delimited in blue.

I cannot install the theme. When I try to upload the zip file, the bellow message appears :
“The link you followed has expired”.
I face the same problem either with the newspaper.tf zip file or the standalone theme newspaper.zip (after unziping the newspaper.tf).
I’ve installed the Newspaper 9.8 Theme without problems. Import the Church demo but when I want to make changes to the theme, the Theme Panel can’t save anything. It keeps loading without make any change.
I don’t have any extra plugin installed, only the Theme needs.
All my configuration it’s ok, except max_execution_time 30 and max_input_vars 1000 in Yellow and i’ve check the theme with and without Super Cache installed but the problem persists.

After the installation of Newspaper theme, I look at my Google Analytics which show that my posts URL contain ?tdb_action=tdb_ajax at the end. Can anyone help me why it is happening? Is there is a settings issue with the theme or anything else? please suggest..!!
