OK, that’s ok. But can you explain me procedure when I want to downgrade the theme from 9.7.2 to 9.5 ? Only with that theme version, I don’t have any problem, all after having some bugs. Now in 9.7.2. I try to write some custom CSS in theme panel-mobile theme-custom CSS, and theme just can’t remember settings after savings.
Do I need to delete first theme folder, or first to deactivate plugins and delete them and after that to change theme with old and install plugins?

Sorry but doesn’t seem to be too much “understanding” here when you implement this type of change that has major implications and use Envato as the fall guy.
IMHO what you should do is continue to support the current 9.6.1 (which currently has a cross scripting vulnerability) and release 9.7.x as a new theme or some other option to allow those of us who are using the theme not strictly “out of the box” to continue to use it without having to spend many hours or ask our clients to expend hundreds if not thousands of dollars to continue using a theme, that we recommended to them and now look like chumps for having done so.
That being said Envato’s documentation which you choose to use as cover also states
“To reduce the chance of users being negatively affected if they do not install/update the plugin, themes may choose to include a fallback until 30 November 2019. This is not compulsory.”

Am having a problem with the theme, I just bought it and installed it last Sunday via WordPress, but when I uploaded the file “Newspaper.zip” it told me “installation failed…” then I retried and got the same message, after that I went to Appearance > Themes and I found it installed, I activated it and when I go to Dashboard the page did not load and shows a blank page with the menu on the left.
When I contacted my hosting provider they told me that the problem is from your theme and the error log is “Cannot modify header information of theme”.

Everything seems to be working correctly except the tagdiv cloud library. I installed my key but when I want to use a template from the cloud library it tells me to install the Envato key, which I’ve done already.

I am testing the new version in a local installation in my laptop before I upgrade. Please check this screenshot.
The red arrow indicates text with new version installed. The other text is what my website looks like in an older version of the theme. As you can see, the bold text is bigger in the new version of the theme, which is really strange. When I go back to the older version in my local installation, the bold text becomes smaller.
What do I do to get the bold text to look what it should look, ie, smaller (which is more proportional and better, in my opinion). It looks like a bug, right?

fixed it myself – deleted theme and reinstalled via ftp. Untested automatic updates are a shame on your part.
Guys the update was just installed and there’s no main page nor post pages appearing in the browser just white space. I’m really disappointed I have 3 fb promotions running and directing to my site.

I have two websites with Newspaper theme – dringrid.ca and arbutusmc.com.
I tried to update only dringrid.ca as the arbutusmc.com is launching next week on May 2 and I need the web to be running.
Can you please, after you figure out what is going on with dringrid.ca, update arbutusmc.com as well?
My another concern is about plugins which I wanted to install for both websites – WP Super Cache, Contact Form 7, WordPress (Yoast) SEO and WooCommerce. Are those plugins working OK with the new update of Newspaper?
And the last question for now. I use Envato Market themes and plugins installer which worked very well with previous updates of your theme but crashed with this update of Newspaper. Have you tested it and can this be used for future updates?

Please check our documentation for -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-installing-demos/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/fF5sVNCj if you edit the posts demos or pages please copy the content and past it in a new posts/pages with a different name, because all post that comes with the demo will be remove when you uninstall/delete the demo or change it, making new posts/pages you can delete the demos and theme without losing your content and customization make in theme.

You can do something more easy, first make sure that you make a full backup to your current website after that deactivate your current theme and activate the newspaper them, just make sure that you activate all theme plugins, and note that is possible to be need to recreate your pages.

I’ve downloaded Newspaper version 9.77 and want to update, as I’m currently running version 9.2.2. The update option is not showing from within my WordPress dashboard. I received the notification via email but don’t see it in my WordPress dashboard, and don’t know how to update manually. Please advise. Thanks
i updated to 9.7 then 9.7.1 and 9.7.2
From 9.7 i cannot update plugins from theme panel.
So i have to update them manually everytime which is time consuming.

Whenever I share any link in WhatsApp link does not generate anything. It is just a plain link. Earlier when I installed this theme everything was working and later it stopped working.
Please provide me exclusive support so that I can set these things correctly as I could not find any documentation for these subjects in support forums available for Newspaper Theme.

Or maybe that is the entire ad code? doesn’t look like an ad code. Maybe there are detailed installation instructions from the ad provider. Let me know if you have more questions.

I installed Newspaper theme demo and from demo, i have customize my website.
Now, if i delete newspaper theme it will delete demo theme and so i will lose all my configuration ?
i am new in wordpress and i am afraid to lose all my customization from newspaper demo
so how can i do upgrade ? because on your documentation you say we need to delete newspaper theme !
and if i delete newspaper theme, it will delete demo ?

Aha! I just noticed, that it is possible to use the mobile theme ONLY for AMP-pages. So it would be the best way, to install the mobile plugin, but only to use it for AMP pages, so that normal mobile-users see the responsive layout of the normal Newspaper-theme?

First of all, you need to make a full backup to your database and then, you have to remove
your old theme and then add the new theme folder which contains the latest version of the theme. Also, you have not to overwrite because then you will encounter some problems. Check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
