Hello nano2408,
This strange behaviour maybe happens due if you have some untested plugins which interact with the theme code and cause a lot of unknown issues. Also, please try to remove all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. To be safe, please try to clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system, clear server caches (if you do not have any access to delete this, please request this task to your hosting provider) and then check the results. Please notice that our mobile theme is fully tested with our latest version of the theme and seems to work as expected by now and we have not encountered any issues in this regard.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
The author will need a bit of a css fix as the css got changed a bit in the new update but the author name was not updated for it. So until the next theme version please use this CSS code in the mobile theme’s custom code box:
.td-post-author-name div { display:inline; }
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hello Dozie Solomon,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using the Mobile Theme for your mobile mode and that’s why you bring others things to the mobile viewport. Please notice that our new concept for mobile mode does not recognize the Visual Composer elements and that’s why the weather and location features with Trending Now are not displayed there. Please keep in mind that our Mobile Theme has a special design which contains a Big Grid at the top of your homepage, some text if it will be added in Mobile Editor and the Latest Articles modules at the very bottom of the page. For more information about the mobile theme, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you want to change this structure, you will have to edit the front-page.php core file, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/hmL2kgzq
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi there,
Once I activated the “mobile” plugin for the Newspaper theme, I could no longer add pages. I could add posts and other things, but I could not add pages.
Can you let me know if there is something I can do to fix this?
Hi
The theme is tested and works fine on mobile with opera browser. Please make sure that you’re using Opera not Opera Mini which is a different browser and the theme is not tested with it. Also try to clear all caches, including mobile’s device cache memory then test the site again.
Thanks!
Hi Team
Great theme and great functions, thank-you so much. I’ve had a character encoding issue that I’ve been tying to work out for the last few weeks and just can’t figure it out. The weird characters are not in the database and they’re only appearing when viewed from mobile devices. We’re not posting from Word into the text editor, and I’ve checked (best I can) that all of the character encoding everywhere is utf-8. I’m guessing this isn’t theme specific as thee’s reports of this all over the place for WordPress, but I cannot find any that are specific for mobile devices. The symbols show up in embedded twitter posts also, which makes me think it is on the page rendering side.
I do not have the mobile theme activated as we want the content of the live site to show.
The link is https://ninetyminutesonline.com.
My best guess is some sort of plug-in conflict, but I’m hoping you guys may be able to help. Here’s the list of plug-ins installed:
-Auto Post Thumbnail
-Block Bad Queries
-Category Posts in Custom Menus
-Disqus Comment System
-Envato Market
-Feed Them Social
-Jetpack
-Share Buttons by AddThis
-Shortcodes Ultimate
-Slider Revolution
-Swift Mailer
-tagDiv Social Counter
-tagDiv Speed Booster
-W3 Total Cache
-WP Crontrol
-WP Missed Schedule
-WP reCaptcha Integration
-WPBakey Visual Composer
-Yoast SEO
Big list I know, but I doubt there are many thee that could cause an issue on the rendering side. We’re also running CloudFlare, however the issues existed before we added the CloudFlare configuration.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Finally uploaded the old version of the td mobile theme ( that I had downloaded a month back) and hence everything is normal now.
One thing to note- I am still using Newsp[aper 7.3 , please let me know if why it would have happened.
Thank you.
I installed the newest version of to mobile theme from this link: : http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip ( as it was mentioned on the various thread that plugin included in theme folder conflicts with Yoast SEO ) , the mobile version was working very well on mobile but unfortunately it broke the desktop version. The same mobile version was displaying on the desktop too. Have a look here: http://i.imgur.com/QZ22ygF.jpg
Yes, I have already clear all cache from Super Cache and DN but nothing worked. Kindly help. currently, I have already uninstalled and deleted the plugin but it’s still broken. It looks super ugly. Please help.

I noticed one of my featured images on mobile doesn’t show up at all. Wondering if there is any solutions.
Thanks!
I have asked two questions and gotten 0 replies on both of them. This is not “theme support”. I have received no support for any question.
On Android mobile, the menu does not come up on the home page when you click the three lines to bring the menu up. It works like 40% of the time. Also, on Android, you can’t click “more from author” on mobile. It just takes you to the top of the article. On Apple mobile it works, but it doesn’t on Android. How can I get the menu to always work on Android and the “more from author” section to work on Android?
Also, how come my sidebar won’t stay fixed on desktop?
See the below error which is coming in php_errorlog file

On mobile devices, the author link and other post meta data is not being displayed correctly in the post header. You can see this on any single post here. I presume this is a CSS bug.
Essentially, on my new website’s mobile theme I cannot make the footer disappear (not the subfooter, that’s fine). I’d upload screenshot, but it doesn’t let me here. Let me explain: It’s shows my logo, an unclickable “about us” button and “follow us” between my content and before my subfooter.
Now, if I remove my logo altogether on the site, the logo in the footer disappears. If I turn off social icons, the “follow us” button disappears. But I cannot make the “about us” page disappear and nor do I want to turn off my logo altogether. Please anyone help me!
My about me page is called “about” and not “about us” additionally. So frustaring!
Steps I tried:
1) Cache is turned of so all changes appear immediately (but did a cache reset just in case, to no avail)
2) Went to theme panel >footer > turned off footer and even tried turning it on and trying different variations
3) Went to theme panel > mobile theme > made sure no footer menu is selected.
I basically tried going to and configuring every footer or logo related page in theme panel but nothing solved the issue.
The issue is not with the logo only, but the specifically that the footer in the mobile theme does not disappear. In the customize view of my site it’s not visible.
Theme is version 7.4
I’d upload a sceenshot but I can’t here unfortunately.
Anyone can help with this? Would be much appriciated. 🙂
Hi Admin.
I bought the newspaper theme and I installed Global Medicine Theme because I was working on a health magazine and I wanted something similar to the Demo.
After I purchased and installed the theme, I noticed that the mobile display was not as Unique as the demo.
Some features like the weather and location features were absent on the mobile display. Also the [tagDiv] Trending now feature was absent on the mobile display and this made the mobile view uninteresting.
Please kindly tell me how to integrate those features into the mobile display of the theme.
You can have a look at http://www.aeglemagazine.com. thats the website i used the theme on.
Thanks! Also wondering why the theme panel options for the mobile theme aren’t being taken into effect.
Hello,
I have tested the mobile theme with the latest version of speedbooster (4.5) and it seems to work properly. Please make sure you use the latest version of speedbooster (found in the main theme package) and make sure you disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
For cloudflare we only recommend these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/ and these settings for supercache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
I have alsop check ed your page speed on google and you seem to get a pretty good speed: http://screencast.com/t/Gwr48qvLWi
We did not see any score of 63.
The resources you mention are nowhere to be found.
As a note, the plugin works fine but there could be external interference that can make page speed slower. Page speed customization falls beyond what the theme support can offer you.
Thank you!
Hi,
It happens a strange thing
I activated all solutions to improve the speed of Page Speed.
While on the desktop everything it is ok and I have a score greater than 90 (93)
the mobile score sometimes is very low (63) in particular for
This JavaScript code that blocks the view:

http://www.site.com/…cludes/js/comment-reply.min.js?ver=4.6.1
http://www.site.com/…wp-includes/js/wp-embed.min.js?ver=4.6.1
I Use mobile theme with cloudflare and supercacher, speedbooster is active
I tried to delete the cache, but the problem remains, among other things,
not every time i make the test, but often …
Any advice?

Hi team,
I like your theme, thanks for making a nice, customizable website. But I can’t seem to be able to make the header & footer display properly. I would like to have the green color extend all the way to the left and right, but as you can see from these images it stops:
http://www.tiikoni.com/tis/view/?id=23a215c
http://www.tiikoni.com/tis/view/?id=a579343
Secondly, there seems to be some duplication of the twitter option at the bottom of each post. How can I remove the twitter button on the right of the below image?
http://www.tiikoni.com/tis/view/?id=ae030c4
The plugins I have installed and active are:
Akismet
Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode by SeedProd
Contact Form 7
Disqus Comment System
MailChimp for WordPress
Quiz And Survey Master
tagDiv Mobile Theme
tagDiv Social Counter
WP Super Cache
WPBakery Visual Composer
Yoast SEO
Thanks and regards,

Hello saucestevo,
Unfortunately, our mobile theme do not recognize any Visual Composer shortcode and if you are using something like that to bring the post content for mobile, this will not work, sorry! If you want that your post content to be visible in Mobile theme, you should leave a post content to normal, without using ant shortcode. As an example, you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/sdsIzj7f
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. For more information about Mobile Theme, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks for your message!
Hi Catalin,
I increased the parameters and added the code
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M' );
The problem still persist for the footer mobile menu links, contact us, terms of use, etc. on the mobile phone. There is no issue if the footer mobile menu is removed.
I understand that Visual Composer, page builder does not work on mobile theme, so I changed the content to a regular page content. Still can’t resolve the issue.
Any other suggestions to resolve the issue is appreciated.
Thanks,
Nik
Hi
Please make sure that you update the theme according to our documentation, also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and Mobile theme, clear all caches, purge cdn files if your’re using then test the site again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi there,
I am getting two errors after uploading and setting the mobile theme. The top menu does not work when I press it. The bottom of the page also shows booster errors.
wp booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with
the ID: td_remote_cache is not set.
wp booster error:

Hi guys,
We’ve been dealing with a recent mistery in our website running Newspaper, GoalPoint.pt.
Suddently none of the category links work, both on web and mobile versions. Either it’s a category landing page or even the search page, all we get is a blank page when trying to view a category url, coming from the menu or article category tags clicks.
The response is not empty (there is actually a significant amount of code in the response, up and including the custom JS code stored in the theme panel).
We checked the apache logs as well as the wp debug log and there isn’t anything recorded in terms of errors.
The website is currently running on wp 4.6.1, newspaper 7.4 (we just updated to see if it sorted the problem). However the exact behaviour was evident with v7.1.1.
To make it even more misterious: we have a staging version running on a private server with the exact same setup (same theme and WP version plus the same set of plugins) and… we don’t get that error, all category links work fine.
We are clueless, can anybody help out? Thanks
Pedro Ferreira
