Hi ilouie,
The header on the mobile will disappear regardless of whether the one on the desktop is sticky or not because another header is used on the mobile version, which in turn may or may not be sticky.
Also, our theme offers the possibility to choose between 3 options for the mobile version: the responsive version of the theme, mobile theme plugin and mobile page template (these can also be used in combination) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!
Hi,
You can disable the mobile theme plugin on the pages from the Gutenberg editor using the following option => https://www.screencast.com/t/axXRJsWby
Thank you!
Hi,
Please disable the mobile theme and AMP plugins, clear the cache and check after.
Thank you!
could i disable the mobile theme for only home page?
Hi,
This situation appears because the mobile theme plugin is enabled.
What you can do is use the Gutenberg editor and disable the mobile page on pages that you want to be the same as on the desktop, or disable the mobile theme plugin, and the responsive version will be used.
Thank you!
Hi,
There are a lot of factors which can make your site slow. Make sure you use only some templates and fewer functionalities and options.
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin or not, if you are using the PRO demo or a standard one.
There are many optimization guides provided by our users here in the forum, some made by us; you could check some of them

Also, pagespeed is not covered by support -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
If you use Wp Rocket, you can try to exclude the following files
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js

Hello, I have been configuring a single post, but when I incorporated the Single Related Posts block and in the adaptation of mobile devices, the logo did not reduce the distance between the image and the title, so in the end I had no other choice than just title and cancel the image, could you inform me if there is an option to solve it either by the constructr or by the css class.
It looks the same, however, this is not a real mobile device. In a real mobile device the website looks very different and images doesn’t appear or charge.
Hello @cenkerinan !
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Make sure you do not use Mobile theme plugin, if you use the mobile option 1 or 2.
Please make sure that all theme requirements were set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Please make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Desktop and tablets the theme is all fine but from mobile it returns “There has been a critical error on this website” message when you click on a post / article. I have tried from several phones
I think you missed this: ” if I make it sticky, then I go back to the original problem I always had and that is, the mobile part of the header will disappear, hence the reason I created a Mobile Template,”….
For the first task, I asked Bettina for a quick task because I am not an English-speaking person, I can’t understand your advice, and if I mess with the code, the problem becomes bigger. It would be nice if Bettina could help with the work herself.
The first screenshot is this.
This is the current state of the main screen, and this is a screenshot of the situation where the thumbnail is broken.
To solve this problem, I contacted Bettina
Please tell me the cause of the problem that thumbnails are not automatically adjusted on mobile so that I can properly utilize and use this theme. Isn’t it the Newspaper team’s fault for telling us to use the theme when it’s in trouble? It’s irresponsible. Please help me fix the problem. I’m not an expert, so I don’t know what caused this problem.
Hi, I can´t see all my homepage blocks in mobile version. I´ve checked all I know, but still appears a different homepage in mobile. It´s loading like a different home page.. this is the site I´m developing to the client: https://www.laboratoriodedeseos.com.ar/ Please need to solve it.
Also, cannot avoid to display the About Us and Contact titles from footer via admin. I had to hide them via Css…
Hi,
I finally solved!
In fact, the check to deactivate the mobile plugin was not displayed because someone had installed the Classic Editor plugin, and therefore you could not enter the Gutemberg editor view, and that check was not available.
It seems to work now, as I managed to finally disable the mobile plugin for this page.
Thank you very much.
Hi,
so you’re telling me that the only workaround for this problem is to disable the TagDiv Mobile and AMP plugins?
I repeat that with these active plugins we have achieved an optimal site speed, while without the speed it is absolutely invalid.
My managers will never allow this to happen, so a solution has to be found to make the shortcode work with the active plugin (deactivating it only for that page, which is not working right now).
To adjust thumbnails
It also appears in Newspaper’s default Real News Pro theme. Mobile.
If I drag the main image slightly to the right, a white line appears between the first and second image. This means the thumbnail is not properly optimized. This is a bug. I want to capture this, but it’s difficult to capture with a cell phone while in motion. Please check with the Newspaper team and resolve the issue.
Hello!
These issues have been discussed already here, please check this thread: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/problem-with-the-mobile-friendly-issue/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please provide the link to your website.
Also, please check how it is the responsive version designed in Portview for mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/m4k6ufd.png
Thank you!
Hello,
I am using the Newspaper theme responsive on mobile and since last update (Version 12.3) it seems that Google Search Console find ergonomics problems on my pages (mobile version) :
– Unreadable text, because too small
– Clickable elements too close together
– Content larger than the screen
Any idea what could have caused that and how to solve it ?

How can I have the same Dekstop theme on my Mobile device? Before redirecting me to other forums, I would like to clarify that I have no mobile AMP plugin activated nor another plugin that can interact with the theme design. However, the mobile version is very similar to my desktop theme but images, topics, and other stuff are not loading or looks like my desktop theme.
How can I have the same theme on both sides?
Hello,
It seems you have the mobile theme + amp activated.
Please deactivate those plugins, tagdiv mobile theme and amp, clear all cache.
The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, if you want to use the cloud templates, then you need to disable the mobile theme and AMP plugins, and then use the responsive version.
You can disable the mobile theme plugin on the pages from the Gutenberg editor using the following option => https://www.screencast.com/t/axXRJsWby
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/ and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!
Hi,
I think you disable also, the mobile theme on that page where the shortcode is displayed.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please set this code in Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> Custom code -> custom css. .td-author-by, .td-post-date, body.single .td-post-comments a, .td-post-next-prev-content span
{
color: black;
}
.td-icon-commenting:before{
color: black;
}
Thank you!
Hello,
thank you, but we cannot afford to disable the two plugins, because thanks to them the speed of the site is excellent, and without them it is not feasible.
My question was another:
why on the first page, by deactivating AMP, the shortcode works correctly in mobile, while on the second page it doesn’t?
You had suggested that I deactivate it, and in fact it worked on the first page.
Hi,
I recommend disabling the mobile theme and amp plugins if you have the shortcodes in more places.
Thank you!
