Hi, my menu has many items and there appears to be a limit for how many of these items show on the mobile version. If you visit the site here: https://dev.dezignark.com/ and go the menu item ‘Characters’ and sub menu item ‘Architects’, you will see that on the desktop version, all the menu items for ‘Architects’ show, whereas the mobile version shows a limit ammount.
Is there a way to enable all the menu items to show on the mobile version?
Thank you
I am also facing another issue. I added icons on the header and: https://gayoutradio.com/
1- in the composer this show normal. however, when I view them ( chrome) the do not show? only the words show
2- on the mobile view, they disappear ( I have set them to show ).
Kindly help,
regards,
Newspaper theme creating unwanted render blocking resources and unwanted CSS as per Google page insight, check details.
check below link https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fiotdunia.com&tab=mobile
My website is https://iotdunia.com , this site not load properly n mobile, it load comletly on mobile take 17 to 18 seconds, Due to this I am lossing my users.
Please check My Google page Insight score for mobile is 17 and for desktop is 49.
This is worst score with Newspaper theme, please suggest what to do to get good page insight score for mobile.
Previously contacted you about the 9.7.3 update and how it’s messed up my website. Tagdiv emailed me back w/ zero helpful information, telling me that I needed to update the site using one of three methods (which I did–that’s how the sight became jacked up from your update in the first place). I’d rolled it back to 9.7.2 previously, and attempted (yet again) to update to 9.7.3 today and it STILL messes up several aspects of my website.
For example, some of my advertising areas no longer display correctly, my “Blog” page no longer even seems to exist according to the mobile version; posts, when clicked on to visit on the desktop are pulling up as though it’s trying to make it a mobile version. Plugins that previously functioned fine with your theme no longer display PDF flipbooks that I’ve made for my site. Images are not displaying correctly…
And so on.
It is blatantly apparent from the flood of complaints in the forum that this issue cannot simply be “user error.”
We need you to fix this immediately–it’s causing my site to lose its audience.
PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO TELL ME TO DO WHAT I’VE ALREADY DONE.
Best regards,
S.J. Freeze
Hello,
I’m looking for a solution to display a specific menu (with a call to action) when visitor scrolls down a post.
Maybe it’s not called a menu in tagdiv…
See an example :
1. Normal mobile menu : https://snag.gy/tEIVvd.jpg
2. Special menu/call to action : https://snag.gy/lwTxWD.jpg
I can’t find how to do this with the composer.
Thanks for your help.
Hi,
we would like to display membership shortcode on the mobile theme -> something like this -> [pmpro_account]
When we try to enter this both on pages and posts the mobile theme doesn’t not render this shortcode (while it does render others we have).
What can be done to resolve this as we need to display this shortcode to be able to login/logout registration etc.
Please let me know
Simone
@simon, even I thought the same. The mobile cache might be causing it, but as mentioned, I’ve disabled it, and it turns out, even the CDN is causing the issue. I also tried wp-super-cache, but the problem with the mobile version still exists.
hi, @calin!
I’m already using the single post template [as a default] for all my articles. In that, I’m already using a modified date – http://prntscr.com/o0ykbp but it’s only appearing in the desktop mode [example – http://prntscr.com/o0ylx2%5D and when I open the same article in mobile version, it just shows the published date but not modified date – http://prntscr.com/o0yn1d
—
right now, I’m using a third-party plugin to display the modified date & time and the end, but I’m not sure if Google would consider it. So, I really need some help in showing the modified date in the mobile version as well as in AMP.

You’re amazing. Thank you!
Last detail and I’m ready to launch.
I emailed log in creds…Subject: “Log in creds for http://www.fitzpatton.com”
The mobile version is doesn’t seem to be picking up the td-black body class. Its white and I’m not seeing the incredible structure you guys ahem created there with featured then latest etc. Theres a menu with a wp creation note. I’ve checked all the colors and settings in the theme mobile control panel. They look good, but they don’t seem to be coming through in mobile.

Hi,
This is the first report that we get for this case, also I’ve made some tests to try to recreate this error and I can not recreate it, most likely you have other plugin that is in conflict with our tagDiv Composer plugin and your implementation solved the problem in your case.
Also there still seams to be a problem with the mobile menu, please set this custom css in Theme panel > Custom code> Advance css > Phones
https://www.screencast.com/t/qN1qVKZeLQg
.td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right {
display: block;
}
This is the list of plugins tested with our theme https://www.screencast.com/t/i70rduqUR73
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience!
Maybe the cache is causing the mobile theme to not work or apply properly. There are cases when the mobile theme doesn’t work for some pages, applies on desktop, etc. With the super cache plugin the mobile will work properly, but with other caching plugins or services there could be problems unfortunately.
The Menu “hamburger” icon and Search “magnifying glass” icons have been replaced by an “X” on the mobile version of my site (www.pabucketlist.com). Any ideas? They still function, but obviously not ideal to have non-descript “X” icon. Running version 9.7.3 of Newspaper.
Thanks.
Hi Simon,
AMP does NOT appear on the dashboard.
Mobile Theme and MP plugins both active.
Hi,
You do not need to add your number for sharing on whatsapp , this option is enable only on mobile version, so the users that visit your website to can share on whatsapp your posts.
Sharing -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/sharing/
Thank you!
Hello !
Please try this custom CSS and paste it here if you are using the Mobile Theme:https://www.screencast.com/t/T0N7cNzJHN ; If you are not using the mobile theme paste it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/0vBfC9NJgBv And as you can see here the result: https://www.screencast.com/t/RYnwC7Babk7
Here is the code: .wpb_wrapper .td_flex_block_1{
box-shadow: none!important;
}
Thank you !
Hi,
In a mobile viewport the columns will fall one bellow the other, left to right. So for example a row split in two columns – http://prntscr.com/o0us8b on mobile will look like this – http://prntscr.com/o0use8
You could for example set a 50% width for both columns and make theme display inline-block
– http://prntscr.com/o0uudp – http://prntscr.com/o0uuhy
That will display them one next to the other in this case. Maybe you could try it like that.
Thanks
Hi,
When the mobile theme plugin is enabled, you will have to create 2 versions for each page. One for desktop with the composer or in any way possible, and one for mobile with the simple mobile editor (can’t be built with the composer)
– https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
So you will have to edit the pages and enter content in the mobile editor, it should be at the bottom of the edit page screen – http://prntscr.com/o0abx0
In the mobile editor you can enter text, images, shortcodes should work as well.
If the mobile theme is not active, the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile.
Thanks
Hi,
So AMP does not appear in the dashboard? – http://prntscr.com/o0t1pv It should appear if the mobile theme and AMP plugins are active, and one of the two AMP using options are selected in the theme panel mobile theme settings – http://prntscr.com/o0t2d2
I am testing with the latest theme version, but it should work properly in previous versions as well.
Thanks
Hi @vamsinani24,
If you want to use the modified date on post on responsive version of Newspaper theme ( not mobile theme plugin ) you need to use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library and set the single post modified date element using tagDiv Composer
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/GkUe62u7W
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/NAEhbrP8R
Unfortunately this is the only solution for the moment.
Thank you!
@simon I disabled cdn on mobile and also disabled caching and that’s why it’s working. The moment I enabled any one of them, I get both errors that’s mentioned here. Would like to know if there’s a way I can still serve images over the cdn.
I use keycdn and wp rocket for caching.
Hi,
The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.
Let me know if you have more questions!
Hi,
@vamsinani24 I see you use the mobile theme, with it active the website should be mobile friendly. I checked a few posts, looks alright – http://prntscr.com/o0sm5v
AMP looks alright as well – http://prntscr.com/o0sn4s
What are the problems you are facing?
Thanks
Hi,
On the front page of the mobile theme, there will be a top grid that displays posts included in the featured category – https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
Then there will be the latest articles section. What exactly would you like to modify these two elements? Maybe there is a way, but it will most likely require modifications in the code.
Thanks.
Hello,
I resized the Column to 50% or less, as I was trying to achieve several items next to each other in the mobile view, but this did not work.
Not sure what is wrong or if I did it in the right way?
thanks,
Thanks for the code, I have applied the code and change the background color. The problem I have faced is that it cropped my woocommerce pages from the top side. Plz take a look at the pic:
I have removed the code, plz correct this and I want some changes as well
Please take a look at the pic:
https://ibb.co/ssppHtH
https://ibb.co/KXGcN2b
Plz help me on this:
1) Position the logo in the center
2) Make Visible the Search Icon in the main menu and Cart in the sub-header
3) Resize the both header and footer Amp logo up to 183px in desktop devices and 100px max in mobile devices.
Hop you understand this time.
Regards,
