Hi,
I would suggest to try without plugins, deactivate them all as a quick test, deactivate the minification and make some tests. Leave only Yoast and theme plugins active if possible. Clear all caching and try to share a post.
Since all the required meta and tags are present in the page source, something else might be causing the issue
– https://developers.google.com/+/web/snippet/
All the requirements by Google are met. These are added by the Yoast plugin, the theme does not have any settings in the matter, or does it block the plugin functionality.
Thanks
Hi,
What you are experiencing is highly unusual. Since it’s introduction the tagDiv composer has always worked properly in our tests with the theme version and the WordPress version at the time. As long as the theme requirements are met both should work.
Slowness could be related to insufficient resources allocated to WordPress. There is a general guide that you could follow
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wordpress-performance-speed/
Or decide on better hosting if needed
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wordpress-hosting/
Thanks
i hope that the theme will support php 7.2 versions very soon. I updated the php versions because i see it here that wordpress recommend php 7.2 version.

Hi,
@AcarelTV There are cases when certain server or configuration are simply incompatible with the theme or theme plugins, these are hard to investigate. The basic theme requirements would be these
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If the recommendation was to try on a new install of WordPress, maybe the hosting provider has such a service to offer. Or you could do it, some guides here
– https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/how-to-install-wordpress/
Thanks
Hello finanspara,
Try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest theme method in this case. Also, make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme with all the plugins updated. Also, check your PHP version from your server to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks for your understanding!
TWO ISSUES:
FIRST — Once in awhile Google has issues with some advertisers whose content is loaded from off Google’s own platform … meaning, Google tries to show ad in spot – system pulled from times out, your spot times out; blank spot … only way to permanently cure that is to have a “text only” ad spot without graphics or multimedia like animations/video, etc.
On one of our news sites this past couple of weeks, we’ve had that happen where one spot always renders, then banner across top does not.
SECOND — However, in addition to the *normal* time out issues, there has been a specific on/off issue, which started last week, which times out *all* ad units. Has nothing to do with your site, your content, any supposed warning from Google about compliance or other b.s. — totally issue with Google’s system.
One so-called ‘expert’ on the Google forum is claiming it’s because your page doesn’t meet Google’s content requirements which is totally wrong. It is happening to *all* sites, regardless of i.p. or content type, location, etc. for our sites in the U.S.
On the other hand — it is bizarre that “some” pages refuse to load ads, on 10 visits, while next door pages on same site, load ads every time. Looking at the page and running audit, there is no bad code, bad link, bad content (e.g., a mortgage pro winning an industry award from magazine = no ads; gov of NY awarding grant to schools = ads).
Only thing you can do is just live with it, really.
Google *will* warn you about content like promoting software that allows you to steal/download YouTube videos, or warez, or nazi propaganda, or whatever. But that is common sense.
Not sure that helps – just feedback.
Hi,
The theme and theme plugins should work properly in these circumstances
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If the theme panel hangs or fails to complete the saving of settings, in almost all cases this was caused by insufficient resources.
Other similar issues were sometimes caused by security plugins or server modules, which blocked theme requests.
Thanks
Hi,
The 500 error would be an internal server error
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/
Basically the theme requirements are these
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Additional modifications might be necessary to these WordPress and server parameters (hosting provider can make the changes if needed)
The most recomended method of installing a theme would be by FTP

Hi,
It seems the website is broken at the moment, there are some errors present
– https://www.screencast.com/t/GGlnlIv9ZW
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WNF1Tu0ToMn
I would suggest to contact the hosting provider in this case, ask them to take a look at the issue. This might be server related. Take a look at the theme system status and theme requirements as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks
Hi,
You could try some plugins depending on your requirements. We could not make any recommendations, since we did not make any tests with such plugins. You could search and try a few, see which one works best.
Thanks
Hi,
Please try to take into account the support hours mentioned in the right corner, we try our best to reply as soon as possible during these hours. Try not to reply in your own topic, this will only delay the response. We answer from oldest to newest.
Basically the theme requirements are these
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also these WordPress and server parameters should be as mentioned in this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Under these circumstances the theme and theme plugins should function properly. Let us know after making changes, if there still is a problem.
Thanks
i am install theme demos when show an error. i have also viscous with hosting provider they told me that what is the configuration requirement for newspaper theme please justify me what is configuration requirements for news paper theme.
Hi, this is something I want to trial for a week or two with Taboola. Just not sure where they are looking for the code to be placed, it looks like I can’t insert it into the newspaper ad slots.
Any help appreciated.
Hi,
After inspecting the website for a while, I can say that there is no problem with the images at the moment. There are no errors present as well. If this happens periodically, it could be related to the number of viewers at a current moment. Maybe the current hosting plan is not capable of handling many requests
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wordpress-hosting/
You could also check if there are error logs generated on the server if available.
Thanks
I am experiencing the same issue. When I go to edit an element in TagDiv Composer, the wysiwyg and the text editor come up blank, even though there is content in there. My system requirements meet the guide recommended in the theme. I can provide you with access details to the site if you like.
Hi,
Please check the theme requirements mentioned here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Make modifications according to the guide, ask your hosting provider for assistance if needed. Then check if the composer works as intended.
There would be no need for anything else to ensure the functionality of the theme and theme plugins. Let us know if you still have problems.
Thanks
Hi,
If the hosting is not an issue, you have to check what exactly is causing the slow loading speed. Analyze the website, error logs, deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and see if this has any effect.
There are guides for improving website speed that you can read

The recommended caching plugin is the WP Super Cache
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you would like to use the booster with different plugins, the only way is to disable the check as mentioned in the topic. Then it will always be active.
Thanks
Hi,
It could be related to pagination. I found this topic
– https://wpartisan.me/tutorials/wordpress-database-queries-speed-sql_calc_found_rows
Category pagination can be modified for each category or in general, but not disabled
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-category-settings-work/
The theme requirements are mentioned here for the best results
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also check these server and WordPress parameters seen in the theme system status

Thanks
I checked according to the requirements, but it’s still not recording

Hello kesp,
Because the Newspaper does not have any kind of post template that allows you to achieve this type of post, you should customize it yourself manually. The subtitle section has been designed to be part of meta information container which is always situated under the post title, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/erclX0kqOSdp The style of this element may vary depending on post template used by you.
If is not what you mean, please provide some useful screenshot with your requirements so I will be able to inspect it closer and also, if it’s possible to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for the message!
Hello culturezvous,
Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/

Hi,
we are migrating our website from Media Temple to Digital Ocean custom machine (x5 specs). We configure everything on the new machine to fit wordpress, theme structure and requirements. By the way the website in the new hosting enviroment run super slow (in the front end) and wordpress use onle 15% of server CPU and DB.
We try to fix by reinstalling the theme and all the plugin but nothing change. We cant understand what resource slowing the loading time of the page. If you check pingdom for a test, the result says that the website has 15/30 seconds of wait time. We can not figure out where the problem comes from but we’re sure it comes from the theme, as the site is a super fast with other themes.
Old – Media temple hosting
New – Digital Ocean Hosting
Thanks
