We’ve been using preview fonts from myfonts.com in our Newspaper6 site, currently visible at http://79.170.40.247/wellbeingofwomen.org.uk/

We now have a myfonts.com preview bar at the top of the site that we can’t seem to remove.

We have now purchased the fonts we need, but we’re not sure what to do next.

The blue bar seems to appear due to these lines of code in our head tag:

However, we’re not adding this code ourselves. It’s not visible in View Source, so it seems to be added dynamically by the Newspaper6 theme.

We’re not entirely of the steps we took to get to this stage, but we’re guessing it was via the Custom Fonts page in the Theme Panel – either in the ‘Custom font files’ section, or the ‘Typekit.com Fonts’ section.

In the ‘Typekit.com Fonts’ section, we did enter some custom javascript that we got from myfonts.com (not sure if this would even work). We have since replaced that with an empty script tag, but the preview bar remains at the top of the site.

How can we remove this preview bar?

I have an issue with post rating.
In each post I selected reviews, then stars then 5.
How a user can rate my post?
I tired clicking on stars but no effect. Do I have to use a rating plugin?

Hi, I’m sure this is really simple to do but I have searched and cannot find out how.

I want to set a featured image so that it appears in the post preview on the Homepage, however I don’t want it to actually appear at the top of my post/article.

The only way around it I have found is when creating a page you a article format, Standard or Video. If you set video the featured image doesn’t appear at the top of the article, however a play symbol unfortunately appears on the post preview image on the homepage.

How do stop a featured image appearing in the post article?

we are creating our new city portal with your amazing Nespaper theme.
We want to use Delightful Downloads plugin (https://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/delightful-downloads) for document management.

When creating new downloadable document, there are two unnecessary windows that we want to hide:
– Custom Post Type – layout settings
– Revolution Slider Options

But we want to show them in post editor. What have to do for hide them using Delightful Downloads plugin?

We use child theme, so we could write something into child themes functions.php if necessary.

Hello there, i wanted to show on a block the most popular posts among the posts of last 7 days.

Let me be more clear: Not posts-of-any-time that gain the most popularity the last 7 days.
I wanted posts-of-last-7-days that gain the most popularity.

So i implemented the “Popular among posts of last 7 days” sorting method. It took me 5 years in isolation, a team of nuclear physicists and billions of dollars to do it. And i give it now for free. How kind!

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: ***YOU*** NEED TO KNOW PHP PROGRAMMING TO DO THIS. LINE NUMBERS OF CODE PROVIDED BELOW ARE NOT EXACT, THEY ARE JUST TO GIVE YOU A HINT WHERE TO LOOK AT, BECAUSE I DON’T KNOW WHAT VERSION ARE THESE FILES SO LINE NUMBERS MAY BE DIFFERENT AMONG DIFFERENT VERSIONS. SO DONT BLINDLY COPY PASTE THIS STUFF ON THAT LINES.

as you can see the only “change” was the addition of that last element, and adding a comma at the end of the previous element.

now this sorting option should be available on your blocks here and there

The kind good people at tagdiv may wanna add this at a future release as i find this useful and its just a quick commit.

p.s. the db query produced is fine performance-wise.

I’ve tried to update theme from 4.6.3 to 6.6 on one of my sites, and (due to my stupidity, most probably) run into a set of problems:
– new theme doesn’t appear to be activated;
– there’s no “import settings” link anywhere on the panel.

The reason for that is most probably because I’ve tried to live preview it first and played around with settings, so status panel for the new theme shows “theme db version” as 6.6.

I’ve rolled back to the old theme without any trouble, but I still would like to move to the 6.6. What should I do?
