Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Also please check your memory allocation and make sure these parameters are set properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thank you!
Hi,
Please provide more details about this problem, so we can better understand why it is not working. What happens when you activate the plugin, and is there an error of some kind displayed.
Try deactivating all other plugins, then activate the tagDiv composer. This editor is tested and created specially for the theme, and it should work accordingly.
Also check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
This will ensure the proper functionality of the theme and plugins. You could ask your hosting provider to make theme for you if needed.

Hi,
If the theme system status is according to the documentation, then maybe the process is blocked by a security plugin or firewall. Check this topic for more information

The system status is fine. All are green lights

Hello neevin2017,
1)First of all, ensure that you are using the latest theme version via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
2)Basically, you should not activate the theme for each update of it but notice that you should check every time the theme’s status because it is possible to need to reactivate it in some cases.
3)Please notice that you should not update your Visual Composer to 5.2.1 version because this is not yet tested with our theme, sorry! Please ignore the message and use only the plugin’s version which comes bundled with the theme core files and without use other versions of them.
Thanks for your understanding!

Hello, I am sorry for the delay in getting back sooner… I was out of the office on medical leave.
I have tried deactivating all of the existing plugins with only the 2 required Newspaper / tagDiv plugins remaining active and updated the theme to the most current version 8.1:
https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/2710222/460bc918eaa38ea368d4e4046b4c9245
I also double-checked by removing all previous plugins via FTP and even with the updates and the removal of all other plugins, I am still having this issue:
https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/2710235/8ee3819a0aeca71b8ef9f10562356295
System status is all correct: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/2710240/6df6ef2d7100f625d080eec065ec4b52
I cannot get a homepage layout to work without this functionality so I look forward to your assistance.
Thanks, Kory

I hope you can help here guys. Our site has been set up and looks the part, but I’m experiencing page loading issues as never seen before since setting up with NewsPaper.
From the system status in WordPress, everything is green.. no issues. WP Memory Limit = 96mb, WP super cache is enabled etc.
On loading the page however, even after all elements are visibly there, the page continues to try to load something. This is an issue we can just about live with on desktop, but on mobile the load time prevents the menu from loading and causes user issues as they are stuck.
On inspecting, it seems there are big javascript issues, as seen below. Any advice please? Thanks

Hi,
Check the theme system status section and make modifications to the WordPress and server parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
This will ensure the proper functionality of the theme and plugins. It could also be a solution if the theme panel is not saving properly.
Try making these changes, or ask the hosting to make them for you if needed. Then try again to make the settings you want.
Thanks
Hi,
That probably was the issue with the Visual composer update. You must have updated this plugin, before it is officially supported by the theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
There were similar problems where in the backend, only code would display inside the elements. You should only use the Visual composer plugin that is provided in the theme package, as this is tested and fully compatible with the theme. Or if you have a purchased license, at least make sure it is the same version and do not update it when available.
Please note that in the theme latest update today, support for Visual composer 5.2 was added. Try updating the theme and check if the problem is solved.
Only use Visual compose or tagDiv composer, not both at the same time
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Also check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
This will ensure the proper functionality of the theme and plugins.
Thanks
Hello warrentab,
Please ensure that you have right imported our demo according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-installing-demos/ Also, if your images are not imported, please check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Probably, your PHP memory is too low and that’s why the images cannot be imported because does not have enough allocate space on your server. Try to follow this advice and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
