So, if you want to change this category, you need to edit the theme core files where this element is created and modify it from the code. I have another alternative for you which is more simple than the first. You can use a footer page for your Footer section and create your footer layout, using the TD Composer. You can add a block 7 element and sort it by what kind of category you want. Also, if you will use the Cloud Template Library, you can load a Footer Template and edit it with TD Composer as you wish. In some cases that effect may be visible, this is how CSS loads. First the default colors will be loaded, then the colors set in the theme panel or with custom CSS will be loaded, replacing them. Sometimes the transition between the colors is noticeable

The default color for that header is here – http://prntscr.com/n3oa9q you could remove that code or change it to how you want it there.
This custom code you are using – http://prntscr.com/n3obqv will also load after the theme stylesheet is loaded. You could try and enter custom code directly in the theme stylesheet for a faster load. These should fix the issues.

Another solution is to create your own header (blank template), or import one design by us and modify it if needed – http://prntscr.com/n3ocst
The cloud library plugin is needed for this, also theme version 9.5 and above

After you make the update please check if theme plugins are active, usually tagDiv Composer will activate automatic but it needs to be checked, also if you are using cloud template update the tagDiv cloud library and activate it.

If you make an update to the theme all settings from theme panel will remain, only the changes from theme files will be override, so first you’ll need to make a full backup to your website.
If you are using child theme please deactivate it until you make the update.

Yes you can use it, just please make sure that you make the settings for envato plugin like in our documentation -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ ( also if you are using the envato plugin for update is possible sometimes to not synchronize with the last updates and you’ll need to make the update manually.)

So if I’m right you want the width/stretch of row, if so then the simplest way to achieve this will be to create or import a full width templates from the cloud library plugin. There is no one single button push. You have to import a post style and set it as the default post template in the theme panel post settings, then you need to import a category template that is full width and set that one as the default category template. The same for tags, author pages etc:

Both way are good, but we recommend to be made via FTP because in this way you need to remove the old theme and set the new one (always make firs a backup to the theme first).

If the customization that you made was not in theme files ( you made theme in them panel or with tagDiv Composer ), then those will remain, if those are made in theme files will be override.
