I would like to ask you to help me. I have Visual Composer 4.9. This addon is ok, but after WordPress 4.5.2 update I don’t see editor on my page post option. I can’t do any changew on my homepage :(.

When I click to backend editor I go on this site: https://vc.wpbakery.com/?utm_campaign=VCplugin&utm_source=vc_user&utm_medium=backend_editor

I think you should update function “function on_save_post_get_video_thumb” in file td_video_support.php to support update video thumb in case of editor forgot or change article featured video.
I made change for this function like:
In the block code:

if (!empty($td_post_video['td_last_video']) and $td_post_video['td_last_video'] == $td_post_video['td_video']) {
//we did not update the url
return;
}

I modified to:


if (!empty($td_post_video['td_last_video']) and $td_post_video['td_last_video'] == $td_post_video['td_video']) {
//we did not update the url
if(has_post_thumbnail($post_id)){
return;
}
}


Could you help me to update this small change to your theme, so I don’t need to care about it every-time I get new update.

I’m not sure what the issue is, but I’m trying to save my edits in the Theme panel by clicking “Save Settings” and the square wheel just keeps spinning and spinning. It never stops spinning (loading).

I have updated my WP core and also updated to the new Newspaper 7, but nothing seems to work. The screen just keeps trying to save my edits. My edits are never saved.

Anything I can do?

I updated the Newsmag theme today and every time I login into my WordPress site it gives me this message

“Hola! Would you like to receive automatic updates and unlock premium support? Please activate your copy of Visual Composer.”

In another post here on the forum it says to disregard this message. So, I click that X button to discard it. Next time I login in again, I get the same message again. It’s annoying.

Can you anyone figure out how prevent this message from showing up every time I login.

And all plugins updated and i can´t edit the pages because the VC does not appear.

Thanks for your frequent update, but there are some errors affter I updated.
My website: http://www.blackcoffeeseries.com
First, it seems like that the mobile sidebar is overlaped on the web theme in a strange way.I did not change any setup after the update.

Second, I can not activate the mobile theme and I guess this error is related to the first.

Please help me find out the solutions. I downgrade the theme to 6.7.2 for now to fix the problem.

Hi Folks, Visual Composer is not opening in Page Edits.
If I go to classic, its the usual gibberish. But in VC Frontend, nothing is there – a blank row.
Do I need to update? WordPress 4.5.2 Bakery say VC 4.9 welcome etc – do I need to update???
Help – I urgently need to edit some modules.

Hello Support.

After theme update I have no new Elements in the Visual Composer, such like weather widget and new big grids. I have updated all plugins that I have downloaded with Newspaper 7, but new Elements didn’t appear.

But on local server everything works perfectly when I install demos with content.

P.S. I have last version of WordPress and Newspaper.

I want to update to the latest version. But my original theme has been modified in many places …

In this case how can I let theme has not been restore, but also complete update 🙁 ?

I think very useful would be to add the copyright symbol Ⓒ as a button next to description field while uploading photos. Very often maybe everyone have to announce who the author is and who owns the copyrights for the picture. It is very annoying to copy the symbol every time I need to add it.
