First of all, please make sure you have a backup done and then you can update the theme and the TagDiv plugins also.

I updated theme for (www.allbankingalerts.com) from version 8.1 to 11.2. website stopped working..the error was caused due to td composer.. td composer is not working after theme updation..kindly help with this issue.

HI lwatson1439, I’m glad that you manage to integrate the plugin that you need. Indeed the file that was edited can not be set in a child theme, I’m not quite sure, but to not lost those settings when you update the theme I think that it can be done with some functions that can be set in the child theme or maybe by creating a plugin https://www.wpbeaverbuilder.com/creating-wordpress-plugin-easier-think/ unfortunately, I do not have experience with this (since this is a customization it is handled by custom service).

Update: the tagDiv Composer link does not show on Post editing, but it does show on Page editing.
On the editing page, /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page, I can see there is a link of Edit with tagDiv Composer on every page.
But on the editing post, /wp-admin/edit.php, I see none.

I duplicated all the data of the site, and I made an export/import of the database.

The child theme can be checked here -> https://i.imgur.com/rEEvdPL.png but to be sure, do not update the theme until you do not have a full backup for the current website and database. Once that you have the backup and something is not update correctly or the extra options are removed, then you can roll back the backup.

Every now and then the header disappears and you can no longer do anything, as is possible? We haven’t done any theme updates.

The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version.
Let me explain you which options of mobile versions are:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

Hi alessandrogini1, unfortunately, for the moment the only sources accepted for the audio format is from Soundcloud, that it is way is not working with the Spotify, sorry!

Update – I installed and activated the TagDiv Mobile Theme plugin and was able to to turn off the “Show Mobile Theme” button on each page.
However, even with it that turned off it does not show the desktop content on mobile. Also, show a different mobile header and the navigation does not show on mobile.
When I turn off the TagDiv Mobile plugin the header and menu are correct. Again specifies pages still do not show on mobile

Thank you for all this, I was finally able to get this to work. I just wanted to highlight a bug in the template which needs to be fixed.
If I perform the following steps, the entire website including the desktop version changes to a mobile version.
1. Go to a page (i.e. Home)
2. Click on the mobile view icon – https://ibb.co/xSWT57W
3. Change something and hit save
4. The page I am on and I have saved, everything changes to Mobile, including on the desktop. So it looks like this: https://ibb.co/rxrHjdZ
In order to undo, I need to go back to the page, change to desktop, save the page again. Exit out, go back into the page, save it one more time and then MAYBE it will update.
Please fix this.

I have tried to update/add some of the videos in my website youtube playlist, I’m using the Video IDs option; however when try to add new video ID it says that “Video id was not found or can’t be retrieved”.

I would need to put some Ads in only some categories or insert / deactivate Ads in single posts with a menu from which I can choose which Ads (ie. top article, bottom or sidebar…) to include or exclude it. For now, for example, if I insert an ads code in “Theme panel”> ADS> “ARTICLE TOP AD”, the advertisement appears above all the articles on the site. Would there be the possibility of doing something through code changes, or are you planning to implement these functions in future Newspaper updates? Thanks

Hi there. The problem is the Revolution slider, which is only shown to unregistered users and is not shown to registered users, it is documented in the previous posts. That is the problem, when it enters the web if it loads everything that happens that I do not know because the first time the theme does not dump everything in the browser cache, only when it updates the second time.
