Hello!
First of all, please make sure you have the latest update(version 11.2) of the theme and plugins also: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-how-to-update-a-plugin/
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
Thank you!
Hello,
I verified your website, and I saw you have the latest WordPress version (5.8) and an older theme version (10.3), please update the theme to the last version (11.2) on a staging website, activate the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website look, also to avoid any problem can appear after the update, also, please make a full backup to all files and database before update.
Also, please do a test using tagDiv plugins, clear all cache and check the post.
Thank you!
Hi, I just updated a post and saw that the feature image that is shown in every block is cropped automatically according to the thumb size. Because of the cropping, it is not looking good in the block. I don’t want to crop them. I want to show a full image in every block. I have no problem if the image is shown in small sizes but I don’t want them to crop.
Hello!
First of all, please make sure you have a full backup done and then you can update the theme and the TagDiv plugins also.
Please take a look for this advice before updating: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/action-required-please-read-how-to-update-to-the-newspaper-theme-v-10/
I recommend you to make a backup and update plugins and the theme via file transfer, so that you don’t face any error: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
Hello!
Let me explain you which options of mobile versions are:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the issue can be from a cache problem or a plugin conflict, deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
Please try not to reply multiple times in the topic if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.

Please do these steps:
1. disable tagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) tagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install tagdiv Composer
5. activate tagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Also, I saw you have the theme version 10.4, please if you can update the theme to version 11.2 on a staging website and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look, and try to add the header template again.
Also, please do a test using only tagDiv Plugins and try to import the template.
Thank you!

Hello!
This is a tested plugin with our theme, but you can use another cache plugin which suits your needs. Of course, this is not enough to optimize your page speed.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.

When I click the quote feature in WordPress it sets the quote up in ALL CAPS. It cannot be changed from the keyboard. Additionally, the lettering is in all light blue which is identical to the hyperlink under the section I am attempting to hyperlink to. This has been a problem for quite sometime. Now that I have updated to v11.2 I am still unable to find any way around this. In essence, the theme hijacks the normal WordPress editor and supplants its own. The first screenshot shows how the editor looks with the quote and the second without a quote (and easily discernable for hyperlink).

Hello!
This is a little complex situation because you need to modify the code from more than 1 file. Please note that any change you make in the theme files after update will be overwritten and you have to make the changes again or you can use a child theme.
For this, I recommend you to contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m glad you find the file.
I recommend you also build a child theme and add the functions there.
Please note that any change you make in the theme files after the update will be overwritten and you have to make the changes again. Better save the code somewhere and then apply it again after the update if you don’t want a child theme.
From these 2 options, you can choose which one suits you for your needs.
Without a child theme, don’t forget to add the code after every update.
Thank you!
Hi GentlemanJack, we are sorry for the problems you are facing during the theme updates, can you please let us know some more details what article or layout you have after the theme update, pleas provide some screenshots and a link to the website and we’ll try to help you as better as we can.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for those inconvenience!
Hi crodexter, to get a better speed on mobile version you can use the mobile theme plugin or the mobile page template.
Now when you are using the mobile theme plugin you must make sure that the cache plugin that you have, has an option for mobile version, if not then this will not work properly. We recommend to use WP Super Cache -> https://i.imgur.com/Q6IMysD.png, but there are more cache plugins that can be used.
Also if this is still not working, to make sure that it is or not a cache problem, please disable all cache that you use and try again.
Let me know the results!
Hello!
Please try with the CSS Analyzer, which is our automatic tool, very useful for the page speed and unused CSS.

Hello,
This is a strange situation, please if you can do a test using the theme plugins and other plugins that are tested with it and see if the issue persists.
Also, please make sure you have the tagDiv Cloud Library updated and activated.
Thank you!
Hi Chris Baird, for the moment the tagDiv Opt-In Builder do not ask for an email for approve when you click on submit button. For the moment this is only collecting the emails and it is store it on cooks to provide access to the post.
In the coming updates we want to improve it more, and maybe this will be one of the option that will be added.
Thank you!
Hi sandrakaviah, using the child theme it is the only solution to not loose the changes after a theme update. Also I made some checks and for me the sidebar seems to de display just fine in the child theme, just make sure that you set those files -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single for single post templates, or if you want to use the default post style get the files from here wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/loop-single.php and single.php
I hope this will help you!
HI itgrcapitallink, I remember there were a few users with this problem, unfortunately, I do not remember what was need to fix the problem (some updates, or removing some code, or options, I do not remember, sorry), but if you want, we can take a look, for this please make a full backup and contact us at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and cPanel access and we’ll investigate the situation.
Thank you!
