Hello,
In such cases you can use the unique articles feature of our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/
so there will not be any repeated articles on pages. Be mindful though that this feature will not work properly with pagination, If you use pagination, then you will have to use the post filters.
Thank you!

Hello,
If you want to filter your block to show posts from another category, you can do that from block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/ Unfortuantely there is no way of changing one section at a time. All of the big grid is a whole and you cannot change individual sections to show different categories.
Thank you!

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no such function so it will have to be made custom. Unfortunately we cannot help in this matter as we do not own a copy of wpml and time does not allow us to provide any custom work for plugin implementation. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks.

Hello,
The issue was fixed in the standard theme but not added to the optional mobile theme plugin at the moment. I added this on our list for future fixes and we will ad this fix to the mobile theme plugin as soon as possible.
Thank you!

Hello,
Please provide an example of what you are changing and what setting does not apply. Is this on pages, are visual composer settings not applying? Where are you changing settings for the categories?

Bogdan B.

Hi,

Unfortunately, Yes as there is no update proof way of altering the theme files. You could use a child theme but even that is not update proof. You will still have to keep an eye out if the file was changed in an update and if it is, you will have to change it in the child theme as well, but it will spare you a couple of updates until we change the post files (they will not get changed too often hopefully)

Thank you!

Hello,
The author box can be customized to show up in specific categories only by adding conditions in the code. The author box is added in the loop-single files: http://screencast.com/t/JWt5mX6pn If you have the proper skills, you can use this condition to make the author box show up only on your preferred categories: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/in_category/
Thank you!

Hello,
The modules and blocks can be figured out from this setting: http://screencast.com/t/2uVeSAltZXY And here is the list of thumbs used on every module: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
I hope this helps.

Hello,
Each demo has it;s unique custom style added to it. The slider is a revolution slider element that is provided in the theme package and the social counter plugin got an update in newspaper 7 that allows multiple styles to be set to it. https://forum.tagdiv.com/social-counter-styles-on-newspaper/
As fort the line you mentioned, that comes from the header style: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hi,
This is on our list and now it depends on the dev team if it will get implemented. Untill such time, please use the method above posted by Alin.

Hello,
Maybe something went wrong when installing the theme or when creating a child theme. If you use a child theme please revert to the main theme or if the main theme provides this error as well, then try to re-install it by using this method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Let us know if you still have trouble with this.
Thank you!

Hello,
If you migrate your site to another url, you need to re-install wordpress and the theme. You can then activate the theme as you did the first time like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/
Thank you!

Hello,
This issue is caused by your caching plugin settings. Please use the recommended wp super cache plugin and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also if you use a cdn server please check the settings there as well.
Thank you!

Bogdan B.
tagDiv Staff

Hello,

Please check your caching plugin and it’s settings. We recommend using wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
You can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Plugin conflicts can also cause theme elements to not function properly.

Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!

Hello,
If you use demo content and edit it, when you switch demos in the future, you will lose your modifications as the demo content gets removed. We do not recommend editing the demo content.
Thank you!

Hello,
It seems the latest version of this plugin causes this issue. We have investigated this and in order to get rid of the warnings, you will have to edit the plugin files here: http://screencast.com/t/T19QvNYAEF and replace the code with this one: http://pastebin.com/JhB3Q6P8
This is a temporary quick fix though. We will look into it and see if we can correct this from the theme side in a future update.
Thank you!

Hello,

Unfortunately our theme has no such option. Each element uses it;s own thumbnail size. These are different for every element. Here is a list of every thumb used in our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
These guides might also help: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/

Hello Magda,

Hello,
I have checked your images and saw the issue. Please remove any optimization tools you use for your images (including jetpack) as this is most likely caused by it. If you still have issues with images, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate.
Thank you!

Hello,
This happens because you use the mobile theme. The mobile theme will convert smart lists to the mobile smart list element that does not use a bottom ad. There is only 1 smart list ad available in the mobile theme.

Hello,

Our theme does not come with any maintenance mode so it has to be a plugin. Please check your plugins section and disable any plugin you do not know about or do not plan on using. http://screencast.com/t/whT5TUEq29C
As for the social counter, please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/

Thank you!

Hello,
The first 3 footer templates come with predefined content. This content cannot be changed, only renamed from the translations section of the theme panel. If you want to have your own custom content in the footer please choose an empty footer template and place your own content in the widgets area by dragging and dropping elements in the footer 1, 2 and 3 widget areas. Maybe this guide will help: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Thank you!
