I just want to change the basic color of the buttons on the website. i tried to change it from News paper -> Theme panel -> theme color -> ACTIVE/HOVER TEXT COLOR & BUTTONS BACKGROUND/TEXT COLOR. i changed it to color #ee4d2d. As mentioned, this just worked “out of the box” with Apache and I had assumed it would be similar Nginx.

I just remembered that in the past, i had fixed the issue by placing the following PHP block in the index.php of the theme the following code but it’s not working in Newspaper. Can you please elaborate on where to place it in order to make it work for your theme as well.

If you use the sort order featured and a category, then it will display the featured posts from that category. So, in this case, you do not need the ajax dropdown. Ajax category dropdown is for displaying that menu in the block’s header.
Could you please provide an example with those settings applied, screenshot or a video?

we’re trying to integrate our custom javascript code through the amp-script functionality, which is intended exactly for this kind of use-cases: https://amp.dev/documentation/components/amp-script/
However, no matter how we try to insert our amp-script tag, it always gets automatically removed from the page. Looks like there’s some code which automatically removes unsupported tags. Is that the case?
If so, how can we circumvent this limitation and add a “amp-script” tag?

I’ve checked your website and it seems to work well and that you use a responsive version of your desktop on mobile. We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version(which you have it already): A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there. Also, you can build your header for mobile there with different logo for example.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. The mobile pages are empty because you are suing the mobile theme with amp, and when you are using the mobile theme this will overwrite the responsive version and to make it faster the pages need to be made using the mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/bK2ykfh.png (because most of the time those are made using builders).
What you can do is to set a mobile content for those pages, or use the mobile theme with amp only for posts -> https://i.imgur.com/PM9X2ln.png

This situation often occurs until users become accustomed to tagDiv Composer.
For example, when you delete a row, the items that are set in it will also be deleted. If it is an empty row, then only that row should be deleted. Please make sure you have installed/activated the required plugins like tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library. You can activate plugins depending on what you want to achieve, for example for the subscription you need to activate the tagDiv Opt-In Builder plugin.

Hi guys. I am struggling with the tagdiv composer, to do some basic changes on the front page, but the behaviour is totally unpredictable.
For example, deleting this row here, at the end of the page, will delete the content’s page entirely. https://imgur.com/a/rDpZo8n
On the other hand, I try to simply add new rows with white background and some grey distance between them. Even if I managed to do that somehow on the composer, after saving and accessing the page as a user, the column’s background disappear.

I like the theme overall, the team really did a great job with Newspaper, but with this composer, it takes hours to do simple operations. Hope there will be some consistent updates soon.

You can see that all of the headings are the same size, before the update the size was dependent on the heading number. The front end displays the heading sizes fine.

The images do not show anymore in the articles, and this error messages is there on the comment section.

You should choose a static page, create a new page and give the name for example “Home”, after that you go there and choose that page which should be your homepage. You can import a template and design that page with the TagDiv Composer. https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
If sometime the page is not working as it should, then please deactivate the cache plugin you use, delete the cache from your browser and try again.

I just checked some of your links and it looks that you do not have the og image enabled. This can be added using a seo plugin, for example yoast seo, please set it as in our guide
