Hi,
Please make sure that you check if this happens without any other plugins active and also empty cache and purge files if you also use any CDN host services.
Caching could be Please also note that we only recommend using W3 Total Cache use only Page Cache. (no database cache, no object cache, no javascript minify).
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
You can find out more about the your browser’s console here: https://developer.chrome.com/devtools/docs/console
I have also checked your site and seems that your have many errors in the console which can cause this: http://screencast.com/t/5zCFKOlud so please make sure that you disable all plugins leaving enabled just Visual Composer and that you use and also empty cache and purge files if you any CDN host services and after doing all this check again and enable the plugins one by one and check to see which one are causing the issues you have.
If you are not using the latest theme version which is 1.2 then I suggest also updating the theme as we have fixed lots on issue in this first theme update. Use this guide on hoe to update the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-theme/
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
Please check your console for errors and provide more details about this and your site’s URL so we can check it. Also make sure you disable all plugins leaving just Visual Composer active then empty cache/purge files and check again.
Please let me know of what you find!
Thanks
Hi,
@flavourmag Are you sure that just using woocommerce together with jetpack causes this as I have also tested this and tried to recreate it but haven’t been able, with both plugin active the I don’t have any issues viewing the widgets areas in the widgets section. Also tested it with the speed booster plugin active and still don’t have this issues so please make sure that this isn’t caused by other plugins you have and leave active just VC then active Woocommerce then Jetpack and also empty cache, check your console and update the theme if you aren’t using the latest version (1.2).
If you still have issue after this you should also consider going trough each plugin’s settings as one of your settings could also generate this.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hello,
Our site uses W3 Total Cache for quite some time. But with the current theme is a concern. The site version PC items appears directly after modificiation. But mobile version of the update does not appear.
What to do?
Thank you for helping hand
usually caching issue with web browser, and/or caching issue on your website.
Trying clearing all your caches.
Theme has nothing to do with ability to create or edit posts.
Hi,
I have checked your site and found all this errors in the console: http://screencast.com/t/dBEc8U8DTXd so please make sure you disable all plugins leaving just Visual Composer active then empty cache/purge files and check again.
Please let me know of what you find!
Thanks
Hi,
Have you tried this without any other plugins active as I have also checked this and found no issue with the video format setting or functionality.
In your case this could be caused by a plugin so make sure that you exclude this probability and check without plugins and also remember to empty cache and/or purge files and let me know if you still have this issues.
Thanks
Hi,
Sorry for the delay, glad you have managed to fix the other issue!
Regarding the playlist issue I have also noticed the js error that appears in the console and I believe this is the cause of the playlist problem you have. The site.min.js file is loaded when you use the speed booster plugin so please try to deactivate it and all other plugins and check if this still happens as it shouldn’t because I have also tested this and haven’t found any issues like those you describe when using more than 4 video in the playlist and also having the speed booster plugin active so this must be due to some other plugin you use and conflict with the speed booster plugin.
Please try checking this without plugins and make sure you empty cache and purge files and let me know what you find.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately we haven’t tested this plugin so I can’t give you an accurate answer about this or how you can fix it.
You could check though if the plugin is in conflict with theme files or with other plugins you use and to do so deactivate all your plugins and activate just Visual Composer and the “Letting Little Hippo” plugin, empty cache/purge files if you are using CDN and check again.
If it dose work start by enabling other plugins to see with which one is conflicting.
You could also go through plugin’s settings and check if it has some settings which might cause this, my advice is to search online for a solution and also address this issue to plugins authors on plugin’s support page and if “All in one SEO” or “WordPress SEO by Yoast” dose the job for this I suggest to use one of them.
Please also note that “WordPress SEO by Yoast” was tested and should work fine with the theme.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for understanding and for your message!
Hi Lucian,
Still can’t find what the problem is with my youtube playlist. When I click inspect element I see this:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier
site.min.js?ver=4.5d:109 Uncaught ReferenceError: td_youtube_list_ids is not defined
https://apis.google.com/u/0/se/0/_/+1/fastbutton?usegapi=1&size=tall&hl=en-GB&annotation=bubble&url=http%3A%2F%2Fhowdoidate.com%2Fvideos%2F Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CACHE_MISS
Any idea what’s causing this and how I can fix?
Thanks
Derek
Hi,
Please disable all plugins leaving just the Visual Composer active then empty cache and/or purge files if you use any cache plugins or CDN services and check again. If this still isn’t working please check your console for errors and also make sure your theme settings are saved. If not you have to increase the max_input_vars = 1000; value inside the php.ini file to max_input_vars = 5000;.
If you don’t have access to the php.ini file please contact the host administrator and let him know about this issue.
You could also updated the theme if the settings aren’t saved as we have made some changes in the latest versions so this won’t be needed anymore.
Hope this helps! Please let me know!
Thanks
Hi,
Please make sure you check this without any plugins active and that you use the latest theme version (1.2) as I have also tested this and haven’t this issues so check this without any plugins active, also empty cache and let me know if you still have this issues and also send your site’s URL so I can inspect this.
Thanks
Thanks for your response.
I think is not a slow connection, i have been testing in slow and faster connection and is all the same thing.
Im not using CDN / Caching plugin at this moment.
I was using Total Cache plugin before install this theme. I was looking in wp-config.php file and I deleted these lines:
/** Enable W3 Total Cache Edge Mode */
//define(‘WP_CACHE’, true); //Added by WP-Cache Manager
define(‘W3TC_EDGE_MODE’, true); // Added by W3 Total Cache
I disabled the speedbooster plugin and now the pages/post are loading fine: http://www.elversiculodeldia.com/ it is not showing me the links before showed. but pagespeed score now is lower.
Any suggestion?
Hi,
Please also provide your site’s URL so I can inspect this and make sure you don’t have any plugins active and also empty cache and purge files and check again.
Please let me know!
Thanks
Hi,
This could also be due to the speed booster plugin version 3.0 that was provided with the latest theme version, which is 4.6 (by mistake we have added 4.5d).
Other than this css flash which appears only when using the speed booster plugin the theme should work fine so please make sure that you empty all cache the purge files if you use any CDN host service then disable all plugins and check again.
Hope this helps! Please let me know!
Thanks
Hi,
I have checked your site and haven’t been able to find a reason for the delay on loading the mega menu items and I haven’t found any errors in your console also: http://screencast.com/t/NpJFBILGwtuY
Please try to check this without any other plugins active, empty cache and also purge files if you use any CDN host services and let me know as I believe the images issue from mobiles could also be caused by this.
Unfortunately I can’t recommend you any plugin and also guarantee it will work as we haven’t made tests with plugins of this type.
Please let me know!
Thanks
Hi,
I have checked your site and found this js errors in your console which can cause this: http://screencast.com/t/hLWlx93tGya
Please make sure that you deactivate all plugins, empty cache, purge files then check again as this should not happen and most likely it’s caused by a plugin conflict.
Regarding the sitemap I haven’t seen it in your case but this could happen due to the speed booster plugin which moves js scripts and css stylesheets to the footer and could cause a delay on loading the resources so this could happen.
In the last theme updated we have also updated the speedbooster plugin to version 3.0 but unfortunately we have some issues with it which case this flash you see when loading the page.
Until we release the next theme update we suggest you send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with a request for the previous version of the plugin and we will send it to you.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for the message!
Hi,
That is very possible as unfortunately the CDN host can cause lots of issues and load different content so please make sure you purge files then disable it and try again.
You also have this js errors in your console which case issues with your playlist: http://screencast.com/t/RlH8DNOvuht0
I suggest you also disable all plugins for to check the video playlist also and make sure you empty cache and try again and let me know what you find.
Thanks
I delete all plugin and left only needed by the theme, and still have the problem, i have no cache installed and everything, i get only this problem with that website, i try with a new wordpress installation, and everything is ok!
Hi,
Not sure what you mean I have check the analytics filed using the latest theme version(1.2) and seems to work fine.
Please make sure that you updated your theme to the latest version(1.2) which as released today and check again. If you still have issues with this please make sure you check this without any plugins active and also empty your cache files.
Please let me know of what you find!
Thanks
Hi,

Hi,
The cache plugin could causes this so please make sure you empty cache and use the ajax post views count feature so that the view counter work with caching plugins. The system can be enabled via the panel, like this: http://screencast.com/t/lw2P10UE1
Thanks
Thanks Lucian – was really easy to do thanks to your theme.
I have a couple of queries though.
First of all there appears to be a conflict with WP Supercache and the front page slider which causes the forward and reverse arrows to distort
I have disabled the plugin but I’m puzzled becuase the load page speed is hardly affected despite the fact that my WP Supercache is linked to a CDN (MAXCDN). One other thing- whereas pingdom states a load time of 327ms GTMetrix states a load time of almost 5secs. Any idea why?
The other problem I have is here http://howdoidate.com/videos/
As you can see although the playlist is shown you cannot play any of the videos.
What would you suggest?
Thanks for your help and love your theme – I’ve used many but this is simply the best I’ve ever used!!!!
Hi,
Please make sure that you disable all plugins leaving just Visual Composer active then empty cache/purge files and check again. Also make sure that remove any custom modifications you have made to your theme as all this should not happen and check again.
I also believe that you are using an early version of the theme. We have fixed lots of issues in the latest theme versions so please try to update the theme to version 4.6 and also make sure you make a backup of your current theme installation so that you can revert back to it if something goes wrong.
Thanks
